He has never charged much, and in fact with the first repair, I had to insist that he allow me to pay him. Because of his integrity and courtesy, I had him handle the insurance-paid replacement of a roof on one of the rentals that had Atlas shingles. After doing an initial, no-cost, inspection, he met with the adjuster on very short notice, and actually did the on-the-roof work for the adjuster while the adjuster stood in the yard below. Jeff and his crew put on the new roof, replacing more of the OSB than expected, and did some additional work at no extra charge. It looks great, and the tenants are delighted. They said he was very professional (which I already knew he would be), and he and his crew left the place really clean. I couldn't be happier with Jeff's work. He's very patient, his pricing is very reasonable, and he does excellent, high-quality, work. He shows up when he says he will, which is important. I can't recommend him more highly, and I will continue to have him do all my roof work in the future.

My insurance company had to come and inspected for them to replace it (they should have known not to place those tiles in the first place). Then they came to replace it and damage the wild animal guards I had around the roof and squirrels got in. When I started asking for compensation, we had a couple of emails and phone exchanges after which they stop responding....I'm still waiting for my compensation!!! Please use your money wisely, I thought if I spent more I would have better quality service and I ended up with damage and a contractor that has stopped responding to me or willing to compensate for damage and time.

When they heard that the insurance company wasn't going to pay for it, they ghosted me. I had been trying for a couple of months. I met Mike Roberts standing in front of a home in my neighborhood as the Roofer Express team was pulling off the old shingles. I was riding by on my way to work, so I turned around and got his card. I asked him to look at my house and give me a quote. I had the quote by the next morning. Then I did my research. Hmmm... A+ on BBB.org, good reviews, and the neighbor gave them a glowing recommendation. I don't know roofing companies, so those sorts of things make a big difference. I got three quotes. Two were in about the same ballpark, including Roofer Express, and the third was more expensive. Mike Roberts impressed me with his timely response and the effort he put into answering my questions. The installation process went very smoothly. Mike Roberts maintained good communication throughout the project. The pre-installation walkthrough answered my questions and gave me a good understanding of what I needed to do to be ready for installation day. The materials arrived on schedule the night before the install. The team arrived promptly at the scheduled time. Mike Roberts was also the project manager and was on-site for most of the day to ensure everything went smoothly. He identified minor items for his team to address and made sure they were taken care of. When my wife had to leave for work, he made sure there was a clear path for her to get out. Getting a new roof can be messy, but they didn't leave a mess behind. They cleaned up thoroughly, and our plants and garden were all in good shape at the end of the project. I didn't think it would matter, but yes, our new roof makes the house look better. Unfortunately, now the paint stands out as needing a refresh. When the time comes, I'll be calling Mike. Mr. Sorrell knows the back story and he knows why I am unhappy with him. Lastly, his assertion that my review is being "investigated" is suspect. I made no specific allegations, and I have not been contacted by anyone regarding my comments. As I said in my initial review, the work that he did for me wasn't the problem. I was given a vague window for a call-back/appointment of "maybe this afternoon.....maybe Friday.....maybe Monday or Tuesday". Seriously? Four days (not to mention the weekend in between)?!?! I thought, "okay.....based on the reviews, it's probably worth the wait". Never got the call back from them so moved on to Christian Roofing and Remodeling. Submitted a request online and had a call back the same morning with available appointments that afternoon or two afternoons later; both after 5:00pm, which I needed. I scheduled them for that day and Brent arrived on-time to take a look at our issues and give some feedback on a number of questions I had regarding our roof and future replacement. While there, he identified the source of the leaks and plugged them.....FREE of charge! Brent was exceptionally courteous, polite, and professional and went out of his way to take care of the known problems and look over the rest of our roof for any other leaks or damage. Obviously, they want my business when it comes time to replace our roof and they'll get the job on my rental property, too, when it comes time (in addition to finishing out our bonus room). The most important thing is that they WANTED my business and made the effort to get someone out same day, after hours, to assist with the immediate issue. Can't say the same for the other guys. Apparently, my job wasn't worth their time (in spite of all the 5-star reviews they have received). Couldn't be happier with the service from Christian Roofing and Remodeling and I HIGHLY recommend you choose them if trying to decide between the two "reputable", Watkinsville-based roofing and remodeling contractors.
