While planning the shower, Vanessa was responsive, open to new ideas, and gave us lots of ideas to roll with! I am so glad we found A Delicious Affair Catering and had the opportunity to work with Vanessa. If I ever have reason to cater an event in the Norwalk area again, I know who I'll reach out to!

My best friend who is a vegetarian said that of all the catered events she's attended your vegetarian selection was awesome! My mother especially enjoyed the shrimp scampi. TLDR: Hire them!!! Best decision we ever made!…read more     My husband and I hired Sandra and Michelle (and their amazing team) as our day of coordinators. And let me tell you, they bring their A game!     A little back story.... we did it all in 6 months. Our venue was beautiful but... they provide NOTHINGGGG and you can only get in to start setting up 2 hours before your time slot. We were a little over confident in our ability to make this work.  2 months before the date we were in full fledged panic mode realizing we couldn't do it on our own. We had talked with 2 other companies, prior to our scheduled meeting with Sandra and Michelle, that we both felt we really liked.... until we had our meeting with Sandra and Michelle. Our consultation with them lasted 1.5 hours! They were beyond thorough in asking questions so that they fully understood everything that was going on and so they knew exactly what we wanted. They also offered quite a few suggestions for things we never even thought of. We ended the meeting and both said, "and we thought we liked the other 2???" No comparison. We felt such relief after talking with them. I can't  even explain the weight they lifted off of our shoulders.  We hired them immediately!  Our next 2 meetings were equally as productive and made us feel so much more at ease with the situation.  We ended up hiring waitstaff thru them as well and they were phenomenal.   The day of came ( Sept 23rd, the day tropical cyclone 16 was headed into town ) We had to rearrange our entire set-up due to the rain. But we both felt no anxiety the entire day, and that was because we had full trust in Sandra and Michelle. We let them do their thing, knowing it would look amazing.  (We actually had no idea what the place even looked like before we walked in) They were there way before they had to be, they rearranged everything to be inside because of the rain, (like, a whole new floor plan on the spot) got everything set up and looking gorgeous. All in a tropical storm. Throughout the nite they constantly checked in with us, and our guests, asking if we needed anything. They went above and beyond every second of the night.  Perfect example... When i changed into my sneakers Sandra saw me, stopped what she was doing, picked up my foot and tied my shoes for me!! I seriously don't have the words to tell you how great they are.      They made our wedding absolutely incredible and 100% stress free. Doing that for any wedding is no easy feat, but ours had more than a few curve balls thrown in there. We can't thank them enough for what they did for us.  If you made it to the end of this very long reveiw,  don't even stop and question, HIRE THEM!!!

On top of all this, the rest of our family and friends eat meat and my in-laws are all rather wary of vegetarian food. We wanted to have an all vegetarian wedding, but we wanted to avoid meat-substitutes. Claire and Pat met with us and helped us come up with a menu that everyone would be happy with. Throughout the whole process, Claire was so helpful, not just with the menu and food, but by offering advice and suggestions for other aspects as well. On the actual day of the wedding, they arrived at our venue on time and were already setting up according to the instructions I had given them. Everything ran so smoothly that day, and it is all thanks to Walsh Catering. They made sure that the appetizers, meal, and dessert were all served at the perfect time, ensuring that the guests were entertained and the wedding events proceeded on time. On top of all this, the food was wonderful! Throughout the entire wedding, people were coming up to all of us and telling us how much they loved the food. I would wholeheartedly recommend them for catering jobs for any event!

From the moment we first reached out, Michelle and Mehmet provided exceptional service, making the entire process seamless and stress-free. Mehmet came over to our apartment in Brooklyn for a menu tasting and the experience was something we will never forget. It was like having your own private chef for a "date night" at home. Highly recommend doing this if you can! Their attention to detail, creativity, and genuine care for our vision truly set them apart. Michelle and Mehmet worked closely with us to craft a menu that perfectly reflected our tastes and accommodated all of our guests' dietary needs. Michelle was so incredibly helpful when it came to ordering our rentals. She spent so much time answering my questions and made my vision come to life! They are a dream team. On the wedding day, they exceeded our expectations in every way. They showed up on-time and had setup complete before the first guest arrived. Mehmet brought us champagne after our "first look" to help with our nerves before the ceremony. The food was absolutely incredible--every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Our guests raved about it all night! The service was equally exceptional. During cocktail hour, we never had to wait for a drink; their staff was attentive and ensured everyone was taken care of. They even set aside a serving of all of the passed hors d'oeuvres for my husband and I and our signature cocktails so we could enjoy them after the ceremony before we joined the rest of our guests (and to ensure we got to try everything because cocktail hour can be very demanding of the bride and groom) During dinner, drinks were brought directly to the tables, so our guests didn't have to get up, and their attentiveness throughout the night was remarkable. If you're looking for a catering team that combines impeccable food with outstanding service, look no further than Creative Foods Catering. Michelle and Mehmet, thank you for making our special day even more unforgettable! We seriously couldn't have dreamt of a better catering team to work with, 5 stars!!!!!
