Shortly after purchasing the package, I learned that Monica had resigned. Since I had not used any of the prepaid treatments, I immediately requested a refund. My request was denied, and I was told to schedule with one of the other nurses instead. I purchased the package because of my confidence in Monica--not simply because I wanted Morpheus8 treatments from anyone. I asked for information about the qualifications and backgrounds of the nurses currently performing Morpheus8 treatments so I could determine whether I felt comfortable continuing my care. My request was declined, and I was only told that they don't shares background information about their providers and simply that the available nurses were "licensed and experienced and had been trained to perform treatments within Skiin Blackhawks's practice and medical protocols". I also searched for recent online reviews from patients describing their experiences with the current providers performing Morpheus8 treatments but was unable to find any. I understand that the package I purchased was non-refundable. However, I purchased it with the expectation that Monica would be performing the treatments. At the time, I had no reason to anticipate that she would leave the practice or that I would not feel comfortable having the same treatment performed by another provider. In my opinion, a practice that prioritizes customer service would be willing to refund a completely unused prepaid package when the specific provider the customer chose is no longer available. I encourage anyone considering this practice to carefully research who will actually be performing their treatment and to understand the practice's refund policy before purchasing a prepaid package.
