Worst experience of my life and worst service I've ever received. I spent over $2,000 (hair + services) and nearly nine hours in the salon, and unfortunately, the results were unwearable from the start. The color did not blend with the extensions, and within two weeks, seven keratin bonds had already fallen out.
When I expressed my concerns, the responses I received were dismissive and focused on policies and "security footage" rather than empathy or accountability. At no point did anyone simply apologize for my experience -- instead I was told my hair "looked fine when I left." That may be true under salon lighting, but in natural light it was obvious the work was not seamless.
I was asked to return to receive a lightener -- something they called an "accommodation." But that did nothing to address the real issue: the extensions were poorly installed and unwearable from day one. To make matters worse, during my appointment the stylist even put her hand on my shoulder and told me the service "wasn't that expensive," as if it's her place to decide what is or isn't a significant investment in my life. That is not how you treat new clients, especially when they've entrusted you with both their appearance and a substantial amount of money.
Extensions are a sensitive service, and clients deserve both quality installation and professional customer service. Sadly, I did not receive either here. I have since gone to another stylist who was shocked at the condition of the install and is carefully working to correct it.
To make matters worse, I had to file a dispute with my credit card company because the salon refused to take accountability. Even after reviewing all of the photos and communication, they chose to fight the dispute rather than own their mistake -- which says everything about how they operate.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I want others to know what they're walking into. Luxury pricing should come with luxury quality and care -- not excuses. read more
