Looking to get refunded for a specific situation and have proof of purchase but I'm getting interesting to say the least responses from the manager Kaye that oscillate between the system is down and it takes too much time to look up a gift card. If we can get this refund resolved I might change my tune while it's been an incredibly negative experience so far. I live an hour and a half away and wish it were easier than being restricted to handling things over the phone. I recommend spa lovers seek another place from the confusion, and lack of care I've received so far. read more

Great staff when you arrive Massage therapist Rachel is excellent All around great services Love them read more

I've been going to this spa since the first week we moved to Lafayette from Texas. The service here is unparalleled. I've never had a bad massage here and each of their providers have their own unique specialty and touch (pun intended). The ladies up front are also super friendly and warm. You'll feel right at home when you first walk in. read more

Walked into a resort feel spa. Staff was very professional and the massage I received was great. He asked what areas I needed focus on and was very attentive. My facial was very relaxing and she gave me some great pointers for my skin type. Next time I'm back in the area, I'll visit again. read more

I have been going here for YEARS! Monica has created an AMAZING atmosphere, paired with a friendly and courteous staff- and Kay is amazing at injections! I go in stressed and come out relaxed! LOVE this place! read more

This place is amazing! Everyone was so helpful and the atmosphere is stunning. Kaye was competent and very informing.

Liz at Lux Spa - Lafayette - is a gifted aesthetician. She performs derma-planing in a manner previously unknown to me. After thorough skin cleansing and preparation, she begins her process and *WOW!* the results are amazing. Never has my skin felt this smoothed nor looked more radiant. As if that weren't enough, Liz has a peaceful, calm spirit and makes me feel completely comfortable, peaceful, and relaxed. Give yourself the gift of an appointment with Liz - you deserve it! read more

1st time to try Lux Spa. I went in thinking I'm needing a back doctor. Thought my working days were coming to an end. Turns out I had such muscle tightness, it was causing me severe pain. Allen did a full deep body massage. I expected it to be highly uncomfortable and some areas were D/T severe muscle tightness. The pain was worth it. Allen is absolutely fabulous. Christina did my facial along with DermaPlaning. It was the most wonderful facial I have ever had. She is excellent! I'm no longer in pain and feel so refreshed. Thank you Lux Spa! read more

This was hands down one of the greatest experiences I've ever had with a deep tissue massage. My masseuse Ashley was 10/10. So experienced, intuitive & kind. I can't wait to get another massage by her. The spa itself is gorgeous and smells amazing! The owner Monica was so kind to us as well. We were able to get an appointment same day and are so so pleased! Thank you Ashley! read more

Was able to finally visit this place. It was the best massage I have ever had!! Every single safety measure was taken and it was just such a relaxing and warm and friendly environment!!! I HIGHLY Recommend this place to you!!! Well done Lux Spa!!!!! read more

The nurse practitioner is extremely passive aggressive, rude, and highly unprofessional. This is NOT the only place to receive medical services or bioidentical hormone therapy in Lafayette. read more

My wife and I went her after a 17 hour drive and the therapists were professional and superb. We made a same day appointment and it was one of of both the best massage I've ever had. We both purchased a 90 minute aroma therapy massage and our therapist knew how to massage our bodies intricately. My therapist could tell where I had tightness and pain instinctively. 5 stars to Lux And look forward to coming back read more

BOTCHED BOTOX - Kay at Lux spa did my Botox and for the first time in over 3 years of getting Botox every 4 months, my eyebrows are crooked! I understand mistakes can be made. I called and I asked if she could look at it and fix it. When I got there she rudely said she would not fix it because I asked if it could make it worse (a reasonable concern). It is one thing to make a mistake. Though it had never happened to me before, I was open to just asking if she could fix it. But the rudeness and unprofessional attitude displayed and refusal to fix the problem is why I'm writing this review. Don't go to Lux Spa for Botox. read more

I've been to Lux a hand full of times over the past few years and had good and bad experiences. Unfortunately my most recent experience was not the best. I was shorted by 20 minutes on a 60 minute facial that I had paid for prior. The esthetician did not know what facial what I was getting, so she had to step out of the room to go find out. That took away some time. The esthetician also played her own relaxation music on her phone, which was right by my ear. There was already spa music in the background, so I am not sure why she had her own "spa" music on. Also, if you want to get a foot detox, do not go here. They sit you in the front where everyone is walking in and out and they are scheduling appointments AND put your feet in cold water. It was not relaxing at all. Definitely not a MED SPA experience. I reached out to the owner, who was not there when I had my appointment. She minimized what I was telling her and had excuses for everything, stating that particular esthetician was always very good about timing. Well mam, that day she was not...it was like she wasn't hearing me at all. She told me "She didn't know what I wanted her to do about it, and she guessed she could throw in some hot stones next time I come." I just said okay, but I do not plan on going back after my recent experience. The owner lacks people skills and was not very professional. read more

This spa is legit. I was visiting from San Diego and needed a good sports therapy massage. I get 2-3 massages a month for back issues. Ashly was my therapist and I can honestly say it was probably one of the best messages I have ever had! The facility is spotless and welcoming. I'll definitely be back here next time I'm back. read more

I have been a returning customer of LUX the last three years. My booking process and spa experience has always been incredible until last week when I had a very unpleasant conversation with the owner. I was inquiring about rebooking with my last masseuse because I has such a wonderful experience. After my name couldn't be found in the system due to its spelling, the owner asked me in a very demanding tone what I'd liked about my pervious service. I told her I didn't appreciate her tone and she responded by telling me to find service elsewhere. I was highly disappointed as I've loved this spa for so long and do not feel comfortable returning. read more

I enjoyed my experience from start to finish. It's a very inviting environment. Billie was my massage therapist and she was absolutely amazing. She focused on the areas I wanted to target and I left feeling very relaxed. I will definitely return the next time I visit Lafayette. Awesome service!! read more

I would not recommend getting a dermaplane here. When I went here I felt like she stripped my skin down about 3 times the whole process. After my dermaplane I felt this tingly/stinging sensation and my face was very itchy afterwards. For someone who has had facials done before, my skin felt like I needed a soothing mask or something to bring moisture to my skin. The next day I woke up with multiple dry splotches, my face still feeling itchy, and the worst texture on my cheeks. Before i walked in my skin was not at all terrible but after this session it feels disgusting. I would not come back here. read more

My partner and I went for a couples massage we had a great experience the beds were warm and comfortable the room was relaxing and peaceful. I got tamie she did a amazing job on the 60 min deep tissue massage my partner and I both left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated we will certainly be returning I have nothing bad to say about our experience read more

do not waste your money here!! Paid for one hour massage and on three occasions, my massage was only 40-45 minutes. This place is a rip off, the massage therapists talk through your entire massage, the place is noisy, and the manager is very rude. read more

Lux is the only place I've been getting massages and facials for years. It's always an amazing experience at Lux Spa!

I made an appointment for a massage for my girlfriend but unfortunately I had to cancel. I called and was greeted nicely but the receptionist was apparently busy so she said she was going to call me back. never got a call back and was charged for services not rendered. I discovered I was charged and called back and then told that i was being rude when I stated my card was charged. If I was reading this review I would assume maybe that guy was just one of those "hard to deal with customers" but I've worked in retail for 8 years and I know how to talk to people with understanding and compassion. This was just a legitimately bad experience read more

Worst massage ever...massage therapist wore a blue tooth w her own personal music playing.. and poor technique

I have been getting massage from Tammy at Lux Spa since June of 2014 about once per month she is great. Called the day before my service to add on to a gift card i had previously purchased, i was quoted $50_ so i paid for it over the phone so i wouldn't have to worry about it after my appt. Instead of being charged the $50 i was quoted, i was charged the $120 for a brand new package, on top of what we already paid. I understand if i could not add on to a package but i was told over the phone that it could be done and would be only $50, i then paid for that over the phone and 4 days after the service i was charged the $120. When i called they already knew the situation before i gave my name. Very sketchy. I feel fooled. No call back. Aside from that, the massage was up to par, the facial was not. I am not one of those people who look to get something for free but when you quote someone a certain price and you pay for it right then and there, you don't charge them more than you quoted them without notifying them before the service. read more
