So I decided to go on Yelp and see if there were any other tanning salons I could try and came across a mobile tanning salon. I decided to give that a try as I have had good luck with this type of service in LA and was pressed for time. I called and spoke with the owner, A'mia and went over my recent experience and goals. She was able to accommodate my schedule and meet me at my mothers in the night time, she was even patient when I was running late. A'mia was very personable and professional and didn't leave until I achieved the color I wanted. She offered to come the next day to give me a quick touch up before the wedding I had to attend but I ended up not needing it because she did such an amazing job. The next time I am in town, I definitely will be calling her as the owner is reliable, professional and her work was great. My tan looked amazing! I waited for a lil while, I was called and got taken to the chair inside, and met Nicole the dental hygienist who took my x-ray and did the cleaning. She was very sweet and nice, made me feel relaxed and safe, and she was very knowledgeable and her work was amazing. I met Jennifer as well. After the cleaning, I met with Dr. Jared Young (he is a pediatric dentist), since Dr. Katherine is on the maternity leave... he was also very nice and the lady who was sitting at the computer was awesome. I didn't start with Dr. Gorman but his prior partner who didn't leave in the most professional manner. I'm extremely happy that the practice continued on because I swear if they didn't I would have let all my teeth just fall out. Dr. Gorman has excellent listening skills and definitely shows he cares about his patients. I recently had a root canal under IV sedation. This tooth is the reason I have such phobia and for the first time in 16 years I feel a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. He listened to my concerns and we agreed to a treatment plan that I felt satisfied with. Words can't express my gratitude. Seriously. I pray this man never retires. I have built a trust with him and if you have a dental phobia I encourage you to give him a try. It took a few years but I can get a cleaning without sedation now and a few years ago even had a few small fillings done while awake. The owner is very flexible; if you are running late or need to reschedule, she does her best to accommodate. At first, I didn't particularly appreciate the long wait, even with an appointment, but you get used to it. It feels less now, and more often than not, I get in and out quickly. There is a learning curve if you have never gotten threading done before. There is a way for you to hold your eyebrows with your hand, but the owner will let you know how to do it. Also, a tongue placement is needed with your upper lip threading, which at first is odd to experience but makes sense afterward. I also purchase my eyebrow pencil from them and find their pricing reasonable. You can book with them online. I have only gone to the Pompano location. Eye Brow Threading and Tint My favorite services to get done. More often, I do just threading. Recently, I started threading my chin and upper lip hair and have found Rupa does an excellent job. Eye Lash I tried it once, and it was a very painful experience. My eyes burned the entire time. Afterward, I liked how it looked but could not bear the experience again. Overall, it is an excellent establishment for eyebrow threading. I cannot speak to most other services as I have not experienced them. With that, if you need of eyebrow shaping and waxing isn't for you, then I HIGHLY recommend this place!
