She had an audio book playing and I guess the idea is to give you something else to focus on instead of tensing up thinking about the possible pain you'll endure. Which leads me to pain level, 1-10 with 10 being most painful unbearable...my service was a 3/4. I do have a pretty moderate/high pain tolerance but honestly I did not "oooh!!!", flinch, or scream and I'm an actual hairy leg girl. The most you'll feel is a quick sting but the wax is warm, very smooth and rips away just as smooth. My appt was at 1:15p but I was not seen until 1:35p as she was finishing up a client however, I booked this with nothing else pressing on my plate so I didn't mind the wait. Ashley means business and is focused! She will get low and eyeball your skin to make sure she's pleased with her work and that you leave with the best result. She's also so beautiful! I will be back for my regular maintenance and thank Ashley for taking care of me my 1st time there and for my 1st time getting this service.

I informed her I have cleared my schedule for this, but we agreed to a later time, stating my schedule masseuse Sharon had a doctors appointment. She did NOT inform me it would be a different masseuse. I show up on time for my appointment. She then states that I was with someone different. I do not trust just anyone to massage me, since I am pregnant. Sharon ( a fantastic masseuse I've known for years) agreed to perform my pregnancy massage. Sandra says in the nastiest tone "Sharon doesn't DO pregnancy massage. I told you on the phone it would be someone different." How disrespectful. So not only did Sandra lie to me, she wasted my time as I had to drive 45 minutes to get to my appointment. I told her to cancel my appointment, to which she says "fine." If you're ok with letting hundreds of potential dollars of regular business walk out the door, then so be it. My mother is also reconsidering. She has been a regular client for years. It doesn't help that her facilities are dark and depressing. She used to be located in a beautiful place in Flossmoor. I'm sure they would not tolerate this type of behavior, hence now why the dark and dank location.

The facial was performed in an open area, which made it difficult to relax. I found it uncomfortable to have the front door wide open, I was actually chilly during the service. While I appreciated the efforts to help with my blackheads, it became apparent that the staff here may not be fully certified for facials. My instincts were right; I overheard another customer before my treatment warning me against this place, suggesting they specialize more in eyebrow services. It felt like more of a numbers game here--getting clients in and out quickly rather than providing a quality experience. I cannot recommend this place for facials. it's better to seek out a qualified professional elsewhere. My advice: stick to their eyebrow services if you must visit. Its a hard pass on any other service than eyebrows.
