They helped me find some harder-to-find bricks for a MOC. I've sold some sets here and got a better price than the other places you can sell to. They have lots of awesome sets displayed. I should have taken my child out of the camp at that very moment. Then even though I did not consent, he used my child's photos on two different media platforms on two different days with multiple pictures. The employee told me they never check consent forms. Ron only apologized when I made him, and after he sent me veiled threatening texts when I said I would get a lawyer if needed. He also texted my personal cell phone after I moved our communications to email. My son, who attends school and has attended multiple summer camps as a star student, reported being picked on all week and did not want to go. Finally, he had a huge outburst on the last day of camp when bullied (I was told it was the other student's first day, as if that was an excuse). I was asked to pick him up less than an hour after dropping him off. Even though I was told throughout the week by three different employees that everything was going fine with my son in class (when I reported he was being picked on). Suddenly, after I told Ron I would get a lawyer re. the illegal posting of my son's image, Ron told me that my son's behavior had been unacceptable all week and that he would show videos of my child to CPS if needed (not sure what that has to do with Ron's posting of my son's photos and clearly written as a veiled threat, but I would have liked him to do so they could see my child being picked all week on in his care). He also told me he would give me a partial refund if I signed a release of claims against him and his employees. I wonder why he has them on-hand? I am only not suing him because it is not worth my time or money but I'll happily post if he tries to deny it. Send your child to this camp at your own risk and moms, stay away from him, I've never had a camp-owner talk to me about putting his face in his mom's breasts before and can't understand why a man would say that to a new female customer.

Love, love, love the Camp Active summer camp at Alamo Gymnastics! This is probably the most…read moreorganized and informative camp I've ever enrolled my kids in. My 9yo daughter went for 2 full weeks (8:00-4:00) and my 5yo son did 2 of their half-days (8:30-1:30). Both kids had a blast this summer! The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. My daughter takes gymnastics classes here, so this camp is just another great service that they offer. Rates are on par with other camps. Electronic devices are prohibited during this active camp, which I think is a great policy! Kids do not need to be plugged in everyday. I like how the kids are grouped by age and each week has a different theme (sports, space exploration, safari, etc.). They do a theme-related craft each day, which is cute. We get a kick out of them, even though some are geared toward a much younger age than my 9yo daughter - we just giggle at those and I tell her how cute she is. She rolls her eyes - it's a lot of fun. They get free play in the little gym from 8:00-8:45 before they break into their age groups. They take a couple of snack breaks (dry snacks provided) and a lunch (parent provides). They go back and forth between the big and little gyms throughout the day, and around pick-up time (4PM), they're usually watching a movie. Sign-in at drop-off and ID check and sign-out at pick-up. You can register week-by-week online. You can uncheck days during the week if you know you won't be sending them every day and only pay for the days they will attend. This worked great when we had a dental appointment scheduled during one of the days, so I only paid for 4 days that week. They have a flexible refund policy too. You can pay an extra $10/day if you need extended care from 4-6 PM. The coach will send you an email the week before camp to introduce themselves and provide camp-specific info. This is a great touch and really helpful for parents to stay informed of procedures and expectations. One tip for them: update your information form that parents fill out to remove the info about swimming, since it's no longer offered during the camp. Other than that, keep doing what you're doing!

Saying goodbye to this center and the incredible people who have cared for our children is truly bittersweet. Parents, if you are looking for a daycare where your children will be truly loved, nurtured, cared for, and treated like family, I cannot recommend this location enough. Both of my sons have attended this center, and I can honestly say that this place does not feel like any other daycare we have experienced. We have been to three other daycares, and the difference here is undeniable. At other places, you can sometimes feel like your child is just another number. That has never been the case here. The attention, love, kindness, patience, nurturing, and genuine care that every staff member has shown our children has been beyond anything we could have hoped for. Every single person here has felt like family to us. They have loved, cared for, nurtured, and educated our children far beyond our expectations. I can truly say that they have cared for my children as if they were their own, and for that, I will forever be grateful. My children actually looked forward to coming to daycare--even on weekends when they couldn't go! And honestly, I think that says everything you need to know. Over the years, my children have been in the infant, toddler, twos, preschool, and pre-K classrooms, and I can genuinely say that we have never had a single incident or issue in any of the classrooms. Every teacher has been wonderful, caring, and attentive. A huge thank you to Ms. Kristina, the director. She is truly amazing and one of the biggest reasons we chose this center for our children. From the very beginning, even during our first tour, we could tell that she genuinely loves what she does and has a heart of gold. She cares about every child who walks through those doors, and it shows. Thank you, Ms. Kristina, for everything you have done for our children and for creating such a loving environment. Ms. Ayissa and Ms. Thelma in the infant room--thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love, kindness, patience, and nurturing you gave my little Leo. He absolutely loves both of you and constantly asks for you at home! Leo was in your classroom starting at just 12 weeks old, and I never once had to worry about him while he was in your care. You went above and beyond for him and for every child in your classroom, and we will always be grateful. Ms. Karis, Ms. Jane, and Ms. Christine, thank you for the love, kindness, patience, and care you have shown both of my boys. They love each of you so much, and I am forever thankful for everything you have done for my children. You have played such an important role in their early years, and we are truly going to miss you. Leaving is incredibly hard because we know how special the people at this center are. Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart, for loving and caring for my children the way you have. I pray that each and every one of you is blessed and rewarded for the love, patience, kindness, nurturing, and care you give not only to my children, but to all the children at this center. Thank you for loving our boys, believing in them, teaching them, and helping them grow. We will forever be grateful for each of you and for the beautiful memories you have given our family.

A Parent's Honest Experience…read more La Petite Academy has truly been an amazing experience for my son. After trying three different daycares, this one has exceeded all of our expectations. He loves coming to school, has made close friendships, and is always excited for the day ahead. The staff is wonderful--kind, caring, and genuinely invested in the well-being and success of each child. Security/Safety is a top priority at La Petite Academy, which gives me complete peace of mind knowing my son is in good hands. I also appreciate the ability to check in on him through the cameras and receive frequent updates on his day. If you're looking for a daycare where your child will thrive, feel safe, and enjoy every day, I highly recommend La Petite Academy. It's been an excellent experience for our family.

When you show up on first day to check in, you've either paid or not. It's not that difficult. Second, they do check for parents before they release your kid. I've been bringing my kid here for years and they still will not release her until they have seen me. One time I was sitting in the car, right outside the glass exit door, and I had to physically get out of the car before they would release my kid. Yes, they are a little iffy on the shirts, but really? Overall, this is an EXCELLENT organization. The people who work here are world renowned and still love their jobs. You have international players past and present offering ANY kid experience with the ball. A lot of these bball leagues in SA are stuck up and will limit the type of player they take. Not SFS. This is a safe place where you can bring your kids, despite their skill level, to gain a love ( or not) of the game. Give DJ a try. Your kid will love it here!
