Fantastic school with great facilities and faculty. It's like a family. I wouldn't change it for the world. Great school!

My son has only been here for a month. He was at his previous daycare since he was 2 months old (he…read moreis 19 months). Things we have noticed in comparison to his last daycare that we really like so far. They understand toddlers and are patient! The teachers (instead of standing back and watching) are down on the floor or always interacting. Which is a huge plus. At this age they need *all eyes on them*. The girls in his class are ALWAYS upbeat and happy and seem to have just a great attitude when it comes to working with these kiddos. This age is super hard because they cant communicate everything they feel and want and I greatly appreciate the patience they present. He has learned several signs, like, more, eat, all done. He says *yay* when going to school! He hugs and high 5s all of the teachers which is crazy awesome bc he was very shy and wouldnt interact with any of the front office staff at the previous daycare he had been going to for a year and 4 months, yet in one month (actually within the first few days) he was doing this with TLE's staff. I know you get what you pay for and in this sense it seems to really be paying off.

*** I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DAYCARE ***…read more (ZERO STARS) Ms. Paula (Prek-4 teacher) was by far the DRIEST most unenthusiastic preschool teacher I have ever met. Just there to collect a check. No energy, no personality, she would BARELY speak when dropping off in the morning. Always seem tired and overwhelmed. Complain a lot about not having enough help. NEVER had time to fill out the end of the day recap in my child's notebook (the notebook was pointless). I barely received photos of my child throughout the day, maybe (1-3 daily photos) and that's on a good day. (And it's no live video footage to watch your child). HUGE classroom volume compared to neighboring daycares. Regardless of "state ratio law" MANAGEMENT should know better! To many kids in one classroom (at this age) is NOT good for the child or teacher. An aid was eventually added but not sure if that helped. Nitika (the owner) was ok. Not great not terrible just ok. Henni (the director) was actually excellent with kids, they loved her. She was patient & communicated well, but ultimately everything goes through Nitika. Cost: $280 per week (4years old) I would NOT recommend this daycare to anyone in the Pearland area with young kids! Please seek elsewhere.

We started looking for a daycare / montessori when my son was 15 months. We were worried because he…read morehad not been around people much other than his parents and grandparents. He also had a ton of allergies - milk, seafood, and tree nuts. We visited over 7 schools for him and read every single review for each of the places. We were most impressed with Primrose. Miss Natalie was professional and patient with us during our tour as we asked question after question. I also loved their system of having every kids picture in the classroom with their allergies listed next to their face. They seemed very organized. When we started, our son would still cry at drop off and took longer than most kids to adjust but the school helped us through it. The teachers were loving and looked out for our son and I would literally call every 1-2 hours and ask for an update and they would often send a photo through the portal when I did. About 6 months into our time there, we started Oral Immunotherapy for our son's milk allergy. As a part of that, we were able to trial and error small portions of foods that contained milk. Every Monday, Miss Kari and I still go through the weekly menu and talk through what foods my son should try for the week and what portions. Now my son has overcome his milk allergy and the school was a huge help in getting us there. Other praises I'll sing: even though kiddos can switch classes every 6 months - 1 yearish, the teachers are so phenomenal that neither our son or us have had a hard time with the transitions, they were seamless. He also was behind on walking and his vocabulary when he started and both improved dramatically when he started. Now he goes into school with a smile on his face and talks about his teachers and his friends at home. It's a home away from home for him. Great job Primrose!

I do not recommend this location…read more The overall environment of this facility compared to the other two daycares my child has attended is quite noticeable. Several days I entered the building no one was tending the front office or front door, which is managed by the same simple code everyone receives - leaving the front door virtually unsecured. The staff was rude when asked questions they did not know the answers to regarding payment. For reference, my son received a state choice grant to pay for his school - rather than applying the funds they already received - they decided to sit on over $2500 AND charge me a prorated fee every week WITHOUT communicating this to me prior. When I brought this up to them - along with my concerns on communication ... I was told "I should have asked" by their DIRECTOR of this location whom also deferred every other question I had to "upper management" because she did not know. (Which would have been fine had it also not come with the amount of rudeness and disrespect with it.) We ultimately switched to a different primrose location, and the experience has been completely the opposite. Every question I had was answered without hesitation and without an attitude. Their front door is always attended and they're always greeting you cheerfully instead of continuing their conversation with their work buddy. There is never a time where a group of admin are gossiping in the front office where everybody can hear as they pass by to drop off their kids. And more importantly, concerns are met with respect and proper communication.

I decided to call and check up on them and the Director Irma Cantu told me that I need to go and pick my daughter up from school because they're not allowed to transport children under five. She said she took her because she didn't want her to miss, but couldn't pick her up. I was floored because not only did I put all of this information in my approved application, but it was even told to me when I did the tour. She tried to convince me that I should withdraw my daughter from school and have her go there full time. I was actually offended but I didn't say anything. I left work to pick my daughter up and drop her back off and returned to work. Once off work I get to the daycare to find my daughter in a fetal position with no blanket. I thought the worker would get her for me but they just sat there watching me maneuver through the cots to get my daughter. I was so angry I grabbed my daughter and son and left immediately. It wasn't until I got to the car that I realized I had forgotten my son's carseat. I ran back in and once inside I asked the black 4 year old teacher where are the car seats and she ignored me. That's when I realized this whole debacle was a blessing in disguise. I moved my babies back to Big Dreams and I'm so happy. This facility taught me to be appreciative of what I have. Im pretty sure they do this to many others. Bait them in and try to persuade them to withdraw their children from school. Their tactics will never work on me. Disgusting. They need to fire this facility whole staff and start from scratch! 1

Not even sure if this place is licensed or if they have a tax Id to operate as a business. I do remember seeing a notice on the wall saying they weren't insured at one time. Don't know if that has changed. Seems like someone just hired some people rented a space and put a sign up.

Yeah school has become so awful that I communicate about the safety of lack thereof before the awesome instructors. This school will give you problems with your mental health. They're all desperat. As a result, this leads to kids feeling unsafe, or targeted. I've even be followed into bathrooms by AP's, just because of the way I look. I've been followed by multiple staff members, and watched from afar while eating, talking to a friend, or just walking to class. I've turned around after using a urinal to face a teacher telling me to get out, and who had been watching me use the bathroom. This school will make you feel uncomfortable, and the adults will make you feel unsafe. They searched everyone's bags for finals week (To avoid senior end of the year pranks, that's lame) And some kid managed to bring in a gun. They kept us all at school, though. And they were fine having school the next day. Also most of the teachers, not all of them, are unsatisfied with their jobs. They don't get paid nearly as much as they should, and they're forced to show up when they really shouldn't have to. I've listened to my teachers complain about how they're treated and how they don't even know what most of the office people even do, or what their purpose is. Clear Brook High School. On a quest for the best.
