I am pretty well-rounded with what Lush has to offer, and I went in knowing what products to purchase. However, one of the workers was trying to upsell me way too hard and came off a bit excessive with products, and slightly condescending as I was reading ingredients off of a particular product at one point. Purchased 2x deodorant (T'ao) and the employee offered a tin for each but never disclosed the tin would cost extra. Not that it mattered, but a simple heads-up would've been the professional way to go. read more

I became a Lushie over the past couple of months, and this location makes me happy because it is so close to my apartment! I heard this Lush was just added to the Sherman Oaks mall a few months ago, which is great because I feel like Lush stores aren't SUPER common to find (aren't one of your staple, always-in-every-mall type of stores), but it is actually in this smaller, low-key mall, which is nice! This location is also great because since the Sherman Oaks mall is never super busy, the store is usually never very crowded and you can almost always have a sales associate help you out. Every time I walk into the store I am automatically greeted, and always asked if I need help finding any products. If you are curious about trying Lush stuff, but have never used any of their products before, just talk to a sales associate about what you're interested in, and they will totally help you find a product you might like! Also, if you just want to sample something before purchasing it (their items are not the cheapest), they will be more than happy to give you a free sample! And if they are out of a product you might want to buy, but they still have some product left in the display bottle, they usually give you a sample of that so you can at least walk out with a little bit of what you wanted :P read more

Yay for the Cupcake Mask here! Woohoo! :) I was on a mission today to return 5 pots to get the infamous Cupcake Mask that all Lushies raved about. Also, I got to sample it before and so I was hooked, hehe! Located in the Westfield Sherman Oaks Mall - The girl who helped me out was a sweetie - I believe her name was Dani??? She was also the one who I talked to on the phone before coming here (Glendale and Arcadia ran out, poo!) I did consider Universal, but I didn't want to pay for parking validation ;) In addition, I was able to exchange the Volcano Foot Mask for a longer date since the one I purchased at Glendale was going to expire soon and they only had two big pots left with the same dates. One star off: The Cupcake pot looks deflated inside like a flatten souffle. I was disappointed that the pot wasn't filled out like all other Lush products :( Overall, I was stoked that this place carried the Cupcake Mask and looking forward to playing with it, yay! read more

OMG. I am in heaven when im at Lush. I loooooove Lush. I want to buy everything here. Let me start off with my faves. KALAMAZOO, yes it is a face and beard wash, but it doesnt mean only men can use it. It is actually a very refreshing face wash for us women as well. MASK OF MAGNAMINTY, OCEAN SALT, DREAM CREAM and R&B for the hair. They have amazing massage bars, the scents and the feel is very sensual and relaxing. My favorite massage bar? Fifty Shades of Earl Grey. My newest obsession? SANDSTONE bar soap. Everyone in the store is very knowledgeable about their products. They are also not stingy about giving samples so dont hesitate to ask. The products are very pricey, but I guarantee you that it is worth your money. I recommend all their products to all my friends. If I am ever at this mall, it is usually spent in this store lol read more

The products are phenomenal quality and ethical items and packaging. I am a huge fan of this place for personal shopping and for gifts. One of the nicest things about it is that if you are unsure about spending the money on a particular item they might give you a sample to try. Hospitality here is amazing, Lizzie especially was very helpful and kind. She made the experience easy and fun. I'm the type of person who hates shopping in general, but I look forward to my next visit to this Lush in hopes Lizzie, or someone like her, is working again. I came into this location as a first time customer with my daughter last week. As soon as we walked in we were greated by Oscar. He was so pleasant and helpful! THIS REVIEW IS LONG OVER DUE T H E G O O D : The place smelled good, and seemed well organized. T H E B A D : This had been my very first experience with Lush, and I've kind of refused to visit any other Lush locations sense then. This happened a long time ago before I ever truly started 'yelping', so I can't even tell you what the exact date was. All I remember is it being within my first 4 months of living in LA, so anywhere from 12/2014-03/2015, and I know it was like late more/early afternoon-ish. I'm actually pretty positive it was even after Christmas because my first time was before Christmas and I remember Lush being crazy busy, so I didn't even go in. This time the mall as a whole was a ghost town, as was Lush. I walked in, there were 3 workers all standing around the register area, chit-chatting. I'm looking at the bath bombs kind of waiting for one of them to come over to help me (I literally had no idea what I was looking for other than I knew I wanted a bath bomb lol, so some help would have been nice). After walking up and down the bomb table for about 3-5 minutes I decided to do a lap around the entire store, hoping someone would even acknowledge my presence in the store. Nope. I went back to the bath bomb table and looked again, at this point I'm highly annoyed. I contemplated on just picking one up and trying it out, but then I was like ... no, if they're not even going to stop their conversation for 5 minutes to do their job, I'm not going to give the store my business. So I just walked out saying "thanks for the help ladies." I have never been back. O V E R A L L : I would take my business to a different location. Since this incident I have visited one other Lush location and these ladies were great! I got a demo of three different bath bombs, and all the products explained to me, and they even gave me a catalog. read more

This location has great service. When I come in, the LUSH girls always know where to direct me or give me options based on what I'm looking for. I came here for a gift earlier in the month for friends coming into town and was helped within a minute of stepping in the store. My most recent trip was during the Boxing Day sale and everyone was super friendly, and there were a lot of products still present! Things were clearly labeled and there was always someone nearby in case I had questions. I freaking love LUSH and how amazing it smells. First of all I love lush! Love their products from the bath bombs to the facial masks! That being said this location is close to my house which is why I shopped here. These last three times were horrible. The employees are so rude and unfriendly. They don't acknowledge you and just stare at you. They don't ask if you need help. I've been here before so I thought maybe they were having a bad day but this is a third time I return and the SAME rude behavior! I love lush products but I rather drive myself to the topanga location then deal with these freaken rude people! Hope lush hires new people or train the ones they have here! read more

LUSH us one of those places that encapsulates feminine energy & soaks it in sweet smelling lotions and refreshing body washes. The staff here is extremely friendly, approachable, and knowledgable of their products, ingredients, and alternatives. I personally think that every woman should own "It's Raining Men" shower gel---it's basically like a 3 ounce bottle of honey & a mixture of exotic flowers-- lotus, tiger lily, orange oil, rosehip, and bergamot. Makes you feel divine. Nobody should go without a good exfoliant--and the magical blue salt scrub in "Rub Rub Rub" smells like orange buds and feels like menthol on the skin. It's a great energizer and skin shedder. I don't buy bars of soap even when they look and smell delicious. Reminds me of prison. read more

Okay so I love Lush, and every time I go into a shop the staff is overwhelmingly nice and sweet and knowledgable, etc. My experience at this lush was absolutely awful. The first girl that walked up to me was so awkward and never introduced herself, never asked what I was looking for, and knew less about the products in the store than I did. I would have walked out of that store with A LOT of product, but this girl totally turned me off. She kept following me around trying desperately to connect with me, but from the look of it, she was judgy, snobbish, and rude. I would most definitely return to get my fix, but if I see this girl, I won't go in. And to make matters worse, the only other person working in the store diverted eye contact with us the whole time and avoided trying to remedy this blatantly painful interaction. Rad, I know) she was extremely informative on all the products I was interested in and helped me choose one that fit my needs. As I sit here in my brazened honey mask wondering what what I did to deserve this life I would be remiss to let you know who and why my skin is so incredibly smooth and amazing right now -- DANI FROM LUSH!! She's so kind and knowledgeable and made this first timer with Lush a lifer. She went above and beyond to answer all questions I had and gave me samples to try because my skin is so sensitive. She gave me tips on how to keep my products longer and reminded me (even though of course I forgot) to put my all-natural mask in the fridge when I got home. I am definatly a frequent lushie... I'm always in there on my lunch break and everytime there is always something incredible that i want to try! The customer service is always outstanding and the young women that work there are very happy and love the products they are selling. I have to tell about my expierence yesterday. In this particular instance I purchased a Henna Hair dye last week and was very excited to try it. The gal in the store told me it would cover my grays and that the longer it stays on the deeper the color will be. So I had my friend who has used henna before help me dye my hair and we made sure to leave it on for longer then the suggested time. The moment finally came to wash it out and much to my dismay I found the dye did not cover my gray hair. So yesterday I took my receipt and went in to explain what happened and see if there was anything they could suggest. Since I'm quite a familiar face in there, they know me by now. I spoke with both Sarah, who is also known as Peaches, and the other Sara as well. They were so sweet and understanding, not only did they give me another block to try again, but they called in reinenforcements to make sure we could trouble shoot how get those stubborn grays. They gave some good tips as well as a bottle of shampoo to use before dying again. All in all I always have a great expierence there and even if my stubborn hair decides to reject this dye tactic again I will still be happy with how I was treated and the passion they have to stand by amazing customer service and their product. read more

I like this store. I mean I don't personally really buy anything in here because I'm a manly man. But when you're being dragged in with the women at least you can go around smelling stuff and feeling It for the texture. Some of the soaps open into other things or make your tub turns colors or sparkle or something. Whatever keeps your women happy. Nice people as well there. I go to LUSH way more than I care to admit but this has to be my favorite location! Some stores are waaaay too tiny but this store is a really good size, doesn't get too cramped even if there is a good amount if customers in the store. Definitely enough walking/standing room. The staff is lovely! Everyone is very knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to talk to. I have yet to meet a "bad" employee. It's great how eager they are to demonstrate any product that you're curious about. The best part about the staff is that they aren't so pushy.. Of course they acknowledge me right when I walk into the store (that's great, btw) and ask if I need help but if I tell them I'm just there to look around for now, they give me space. They come and go to check in to see if I'm still doing okay but never hover or pester me and force me into trying products that I have no interest in. I've never had an awkward or uncomfortable experience with any employee. They're very generous with samples as well, I'm glad they never make me feel bad for asking, haha. I have had great experiences at other stores as well but this store and staff just takes the cake. I've never left the store unhappy. I bought a couple items two days ago and immediately started getting a reaction on my face. I came in to return and my card for some reason wasn't allowing the funds to be added back onto it. My employee was 1006337(I think that's the original worker) was so patient and tried several times. She called one supervisor (I'm guessing) and this supervisor was short and told me to call my bank that they can't do anything. Okkkkkk. Not very nice tone or helpful. I must add that when my original employee was relating the question to said supervisor, gender neutral pronouns were used which I VERY much appreciated. People usually get it wrong for me so it seems like there was some type of training or this employee was just aware. Awesome! Another supervisor heard what was happening and quickly resolved the issue! Yay! I really overall had a great experience at this location (I usually only shop Santa Anita mall) and will def come back and tell my lush obsessed fam as well. read more

Stopped into this store purely on impulse and now I am hooked. I was greeted by some excellent customer service from the team there and Dani took me on as her personal customer. She asked me a number of questions about what I was looking for in a skin care and then made some wonderful suggestions. She sampled many products without hesitation and spent a significant time with me even though all she was sending me home with were samples (and an awesome catalog to look through which I love). I cannot say enough great things about this shop! Saw the store yesterday and went in on a whim. The girl who greeted me (Allison?) was genuinely nice and let me browse without being right on top of me like some sales people tend to be (looking at you, sephora and every other makeup counter). If I had a question she was immediately available but at no time did I feel stalked or ignored. This alone would make me come back and shop again! This is the closest Lush to me so I go here often. I've had mixed experiences here. I've had some really good experiences and some not so good ones. There's been times when the staff is really attentive and nice and other times when the staff doesn't even greet customers at the door and won't help you until you're at the register. In general, I love this company and what it stands for. I will keep coming back for the ocean salt, that thing work wonders. read more
