From the moment I walked in, the whole experience felt very personalized and almost concierge like. The salon itself is so cute, and I loved that they use Kerastase products because those are some of my favorites. Jasmine did an amazing job on my haircut. She gave me beautiful layers, brought my hair back to life, and really took her time making sure everything looked right. Jasmine was confident and knowledgeable while still being incredibly kind and humble. She talked me through everything she was doing, answered my questions, and made me feel completely comfortable in her chair. I've had some not so great hair experiences in the past, so having a stylist who actually listened to me and made me feel comfortable meant a lot. I've actually tried multiple times to get back into Jasmine's chair since then. Whenever I've been back in San Diego temporarily, I've wanted to book something like a toner, brunette balayage, or just something subtle to add dimension to my naturally dark hair. I've consulted with her several times over the phone and through text about what I could do, but unfortunately our schedules just haven't lined up. Since I don't live in San Diego anymore and am usually only there for a few days at a time for work, scheduling a longer hair appointment can be really difficult. Through all of that, Jasmine has been SO patient and understanding with me. I've gone back and forth with her about appointments and ideas more than once without actually being able to make the timing work, and she has never made me feel bad or like I was wasting her time. Some stylists can get frustrated when you're asking questions or can't immediately commit to an appointment, but Jasmine has always remained kind, helpful, and understanding of the fact that I'm constantly going back and forth between San Jose and San Diego. I really appreciate that about her. I genuinely hope I can make the timing work soon because I would absolutely trust her with my hair again, especially for color. I would love to eventually have her do a brunette balayage or highlights and add some dimension while still keeping my hair healthy. I am a professional makeup artist contracted by this company, and I can tell you these folks…read moregenuinely have been abysmal to deal with from an employee standpoint and I'm not sure what that says about them as a company, but I would NOT trust your credit card number with them. They pay us via their own online payroll system and we have to login to to transfer our funds to a bank account or Paypal. After working a few jobs with them, my account was hacked and someone was able to login, add a new transfer method and transfer my wages to their account within 4 minutes of my being notified of a "new login". I saw it immediately as I was on my computer when it happened, and changed the password, but it was too late. They had transferred funds to a Paypal account that was named with my last name, so it's obvious that there was some kind of data breach in their system that allowed for someone to strategize this and did this either to track their transfers or simply to fly under the radar and not be noticed. I didn't share my password or login with anyone, nor did I have any other login attempts or hacks on any other account so it's obviously stemmed from wherever this data is being stored. This also obviously was someone that knew their system well enough to be able to do this so quickly in spite of their website backend being a little strange to navigate. After completely ignoring multiple emails, their controller finally responded. I was shocked at the lack of seriousness in the company's response. I could not imagine why any company would not take seriously that their data is so not secure, that their employees wages are straight up getting stolen. Who runs their company that way? When I finally did get a response, the controller was not only NOT EVEN A LITTLE BIT apologetic or empathetic for ACTUAL WAGES from hours of SKILLED WORK getting stolen from THEIR lack of security in THEIR unfortunate excuse for a payroll system, but when asked what the company was willing to do to rectify or assure me that I was safe to continue working and this would not happen again, she simply responded by denying that this has ever happened before and saying there was nothing she could do. I was floored. Any company that handles their employees and their online security this way has no ethics (at best) and can absolutely not be trusted, especially with your data and credit card info.
