I can't believe I hadn't reviewed this place already! Went 5 years ago and finally went back today and wow what a beautiful place and how lucky we are to have this so close to us! The alpacas and llamas are the absolute sweetest, gentlest animals ever. King, the owner is very friendly- teaches you all about the grounds, animals and provides some wonderful opportunities for you to hang with the animals, feed them, take tons of pictures and even carry a baby alpaca. This place is perfect for people of all ages- took my 7 month old and 3 year old and my mother of 77 years old and everyone loved it! Highly highly recommend this place! Also super cute you can have a birthday party there!

What an amazing experince i have during my visit at lunases alpaca farm, owners are so friendly and welcoming. This beautiful farm is located on the hills of Minneola, was so in love being able to feed the ducks, alpacas and llamas. This place is perfect for adults and kinds of any age to have an unforgettable experience. The tour includes feeding the animals, take pictues with them and learn more about this beautiful animals. They have chairs and tables as well if you want to sit and enjoy the view, afforable price for tour. Tours are by reservation only. I really enjoy this experince and was able to pet and feed them and take pictures. Would love to come back again.

Great experience and worth the trip. Owners are very friendly and explain very well how the the alpacas are where they came from. They also have chickens and geese which are very friendly some people on the tour even picked them up. They give you pieces of bread to feed them. This experience is about 2 hours long approximately. I was not able to see the baby alpacas as my son was hungry and we left early.

Seriously, run don't walk to go pet and feed alpacas! This was a really fun hour long experience on the farm. The alpacas were sweet and the crazy antics of the farm owner can only be described and fun dad jokes!

    Baby alpacas!

I took my mom who loved animals and we had so much! We learned a lot about the animals and had a lot of time to pet and feed them. Tons of alpacas and llamas, owners were very kind and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend!

just visited this farm & i absolutely loved it!!!! we did the tour at noon and it was so personable and very hands on, it was the owners in charge of everything so im able to get a real feel on how these animals were taking cared of. besides alpacas, there were llamas and chickens, geese, they're all so friendly and not shy to come around humans making it easy to interact for kids around us or adults!! i loved the stories the owners told, whether it was about how proud they were of their alpacas or each personality the animals all had!! before leaving we already made plans to come back to do another tour and their paint activity

If alpaca yoga sounds like a great time to you... you are absolutely correct. I LOVED my yoga session with all of my new alpaca friends at LunaSea Alpaca Farm! What a fantastic experience and a fabulous way to spend a Sunday morning. I arrived 15 minutes early for my yoga session, and parked outside of the gate of LunaSea. Upon arriving, I was greeted by a very nice group of people welcoming me to the alpaca farm. We made our way to the enclosure with the baby alpacas to begin yoga. The enclosure is heavily shaded by trees- for those that are concerned about getting sunburnt (like me). We laid down our mats and blankets, and suddenly, a mini herd of super friendly baby alpacas came walking towards us. Supposedly we got particularly lucky that day because the alpacas were ultra playful and running around! Our yoga instructor told us that we were free to do yoga poses or take moments to interact with the alpacas as they curiously came around to say hello and investigate. Also, we were given some treats to pass out to the alpacas, so they'd come around snooping. My friend next to me was in the middle of doing some yoga poses when a hilarious alpaca decided to lay down on her mat! I lured some alpacas over with tasty treats while balancing out my time to do some zen yoga poses. The little guys seemed most curious when we were lying down on our backs- I got two unexpected alpaca smoochies when I was laying down! After our yoga session, we were given lots of treats to pass out to our alpaca friends. They also graciously offered to take our photos of us feeding the alpacas. After we were given plenty of time to play and take photos, we were directed to wash our hands in their merch store. In the store, they sell yarn, beanies, stuffed animals, socks, etc made of their alpacas' hair! Ugh sooo soft. In the store, we got to ask lots of questions about the alpacas and learned some really interesting history about them. LunaSea Alpaca Farm is now one of my favorite places to visit in Orlando, and I will definitely be back VERY soon to visit all of my furry friends! I recommend going for yoga, or making a reservation for a tour of the farm!

We visited LunaSea Alpaca Farm in Clermont, Florida today. We enjoyed our visit immensely. The farm is family owned. They offer tours, which you reserve in advance, for a fee of $20 Per guest. It is highly recommended to wear close shoes. The tour was led by King and it last an hour and half. He is very informative and funny. His goal is to make your visit as enjoyable and pleasant as possible! You are able to experience an up close and personal opportunity with these beautiful and gentle animals. You are able to feed them treats, take selfies, touch them and even carry the babies.

LunaSea Alpaca Farm is located in Clermont, not far from Lakeridge Winery (so maybe next time add it to your plans before a day of wine tasting!). The farm is family owned with mainly alpacas and a few llamas. They offer tours, which you reserve in advance, for a donation of $10 each person. The tours are limited to a small number of guests and right now during the pandemic you can feel safe to keep your distance and wear your mask (although at the time attended not required - not sure if county rules have changed since visiting). The tour (led by King) was informative, interactive, and unlike anything I had ever experienced. Although you don't really walk very far, you are up close and personal with the Alpacas like nowhere I have ever been in my life. We got to be in their areas, pet them, feed them treats, and just be with them while they roam free. It was interesting to learn that alpacas do not have top teeth, so although you see these huge teeth protruding from their mouth, they cannot bite you. This made me feel a lot safer around them and made the experience a lot more enjoyable. The babies of course were the highlight. They were so cute and just wanted to "chew" on everything - the chair, my purse, etc. The tour lasted probably about an hour total and it was so much fun! I honestly cannot wait to go back and take others with me so they can experience what I did, as I feel it is something very unique that is being offered here in Central Florida. Something new that LunaSea Alpaca Farm is starting to offer is "alpaca yoga" where you actually get to do yoga with the alpaca's roaming around and then play with the babies afterwards. This is something I may consider trying out in the future now that I have been getting into yoga.

One of the most awesomest places to go to!! I've been planning to go here for awhile and we were scheduled to meet King at 11am, and the whole tour was great. I learned a lot about alpacas & llamas and it was overall a great experience. I was a bit frightened at first because I was afraid they were going to bite me but after learning about them and feeding them, it wasn't so bad. King was really helpful and helped us throughout the whole tour giving us really great insights on how they're like. We also got the chance to learn about how their fur would be used. It's a $10 donation per person and however much you want to donate. I really enjoyed my time here and I look forward to bringing more people and coming back to see the little babies. It was definitely a great adventure.

This is their 3 month old sweetie! Sorry I'm bad at remembering names but many of them come from champion lines.

This was my book club's final trek on our journey to recreate some of the book we read. We had a blast. There is so much cuteness, education, love and fun here. You are able to go in the pens, pet and feed even in the nursery. Plus, one of them will kiss you. King was so educational and his helper who lives on property (again I'm sorry about names, maybe Judy?) she was fun and wise, also. Don't miss out on this hidden gem and remember reservations are required.

What an amazing little gem of a place. It's the kind of roadside attraction reminiscent of old Florida, but that history hasn't managed to forget. Thank goodness! This is a great attraction for the whole family. Lots of animals, play areas for the kids, and a ride around the farm in a monster truck/bus to view old citrus groves and search for Bigfoot. For me, the best part was the opportunity to interact with Lemurs and Capybaras. This was the best part of visit! Don't pay those absurd prices for those 'Capybara Cafes' popping up where $100 get you coffee in a room with them. Here, for a fraction of the cost, you get up close contact and interaction. The animal interactions fill up quickly, so get there early.

We also took a ride on the monster truck, which was a little disappointing as it was just a ride around the farm and we thought it was very pricey. I would say that this outing is geared mostly towards younger children. There is also a gift shop with fruit wines, honey candies, cookies, and a myriad of different things to purchase. I would definitely go back again, but maybe on a cooler day.

Unfortunately, for most of us who know it was closed ,but it has now reopen at this new location. The new green meadow petting Farm is better than ever updated and supported by Osceola County. They are currently working every day to update it and to bring more attractions and more animals to continue the connection for the next generation.. our recent visit there indicates this very creed that brought us to them many decades ago. I will not elaborate the numerous emotions a parent may have watching their child touch a chicken or learn about a cow or other farm implements and machinery in a safe, clean, environment , but rather tell you go take your child and experience it for yourself. Admission is reasonable, especially for the various things that you could do there with your family any given day of the week. Parking is ample and spaces are wide, not only for your car, but for your children running in their meadows under a clear sky.. Thank you, Green Meadow Farms, especially to your staff for continuing to have the same great attitude ,even after all these years. We will continue to support you through the next generation..

It all started when we checked in and got our first cup of feed for the day. A short stroll over to their petting zoo led us straight to the donkeys, goats, and some of their youngest Highlands. After a proper introduction to all of the animals in the petting zoo, we loaded onto a tractor driven by an infant and a farm dog and were taken farther onto the property and there they were! There were at least a dozen Highlands ready for eating! We were given buckets with pellets and the feeding began! Feeding the cows was absolutely hilarious. Loved to see all their wildly different personalities. Some a gentle as a butterfly, some charging at you like a bull after a red flag! We loaded back up on the tractor (yes, the baby was still driving) and headed back to the front where, thankfully, there was a handwashing station.
