We had to come back since they left scratches on our car. Me and my mom sat inside since it's 103 degrees out. My mom sat down and I was standing infront of the fan. The daughter moved the fan away and pulled my hair while doing so. Mind you, there are multiple fans inside. I stood where she moved it too since I was sweating. The mom moved it the other way, I stood in front of it again. The daughter turned it the other way around. Then she started taking the cushions off the chairs so nobody sits down. Great place. Old school radiator shops are hard to find these days. I found this shop when my 1994 Chevy Workhorse with a Cummins diesel needed a radiator replacement. Called and got a friendly straight forward answer. Drove it in for inspection and Scheduled the appointment for the work to be done. Day of the appointment, got everything done on the same day as promised. 2 months after, the truck started losing coolant and I drove by (not with the truck) to ask a few questions before I drive the truck there with the coolant issue. I was quickly greeted and after the gentleman listen to my concerns, he told me not to worry, to bring it in for a pressure test. I bring the truck in and he jumps into action to diagnose the issue. "New reservoir cap" . He was right, I didn't need to worry. read more

About a month ago, I took my Audi A6 for repairs at Lunas Radiators & Mufflers mechanic shop in Pacoima for muffler repairs. I went by to talk to Isaac to find out how much it would cost to fix the issue. While i was going to do the muffler repairs at this mechanic shop I asked Isaac to do an oil change as well on my vehicle. I specifically stated that Audi oil change was a bit of a challenge and if he was 100% able to perform the oil change and he Isaac replied saying he absolutely could. According to his statement he stated that he would take care of the oil change for me, since my vehicle is already being serviced at his shop and it would cost $95.00 extra and I agreed. It took him a week to do the repairs and an oil change. When I went back to pick up my vehicle from his shop I asked him if he was easily able to do the oil change, and his answer was "yes everything has been done correctly on your Audi." The next day i noticed that the oil change was not done correctly, all he had completed was replacing the oil filter without draining the old oil from the engine. As you can see in the attached photos below the oil level shows that the oil is not full and the vehicle message still shows that service is due. I went back to him the next day and told him that he never changed the oil on my Audi, and of course he denied it, and began to accuse me of lying stating he did perform the oil change correctly. Isaac never took full responsibility of not correctly servicing my vehicle, which after he caused a scene at his shop yelling for me to leave since I had already paid him so what is done is done that I needed to leave. Since then I have been text messaging him on the phone number he had originally given me for the repairs and he has not been responding to any of my messages. This is just very appalling and disturbing dealing with such horrible customer service. read more

He basically subcontracted the work to his buddy because he couldn't handle it. The owners from his place are great people but the workers on the other hand are very sloppy. I took a brand new 2016 ram for some muffler modifications and just now that I looked under my car because it wasn't picking up the same I come to find I have an exhaust leak and my tubing is a little over a 3 inch size and they use a 2 inch pipe and that's ridiculous. Like I said owners are nice but someone should be verifying they're work before returning he vehicle back to the customer especially when it's a new car And a returning customer. Came here to get my stock resonator replaced with a Magnaflow. Showed up and their worker Jose I believe his name is walked out looking pissed. Tried to ignore it but when I told him what I wanted he made it seem like he didn't want to do it. Had an attitude and asked me over and over why I wanted it, what for, and why the resonator. I don't understand what all the questions were for if I was paying full price and he was going out of his way for me. He was doing his job. Issac ended up being the one who installed the resonator and am very happy with his work. Received some assistance as well from some lady there(didn't get her name) and Issac, and these two were extremely pleasant. If I was to go back, I'd be because of them and there work. They should just teach their worker some customer service skills. read more

You Can't Always Get What You Want and this place is not different. About a month ago, I was referred to this place by a friend so I went by to talk to Isaac about a new exhaust system on my FJ40 with a SBC Motor. I told him what I wanted and he recommended that I get a center dump exhaust manifold to achieve my goal. I purchased a pair of Ram Horn cast iron headers and installed them. At this time he quoted me $390.00 total with aluminized 2" header pipes that "y"ed into a 2 1/2" collector with aluminized 2 1/2" pipe to a single 2 1/2" magnaflow muffler with an aluminized 2 1/2" tail pipe. I also needed 2) O2 sensor bungs welded in the 2 1/2" pipe. I had Isaac make me a pair of 2 1/2" to 2" reducers so I could use flex pipe to get the FJ40 to the shop. These were not in the original quote so he charged me $40.00. All I had was $100.00 bill so I Told Isaac that I had a $60.00 credit towards the actual exhaust System. The next Monday I delivered the FJ to the shop and made a deal with Isaac that the $60.00 credit would be a TIP if he did exactly what I wanted as described above. On Tuesday I was called and I went to pick up my FJ40. Upon first inspection, everything looked great. The skid plate hid a lot. When I got home I noticed the second O2 bung was welded on the bottom and the shifter was getting tighter, (harder to shift) . I noticed that Isaac had put an X in the spot that I wanted the 2nd O2 sensor but had changed it about 180°, tilted down so I went back to the shop. Jose dropped the rear pipe and welded another bung and I was happy until I went to shift into reverse. I forced it home so I could remove the skip plate and find out what went wrong. On Friday I dropped the skid plate to find that the shifter lever on the transmission was hitting the exhaust pipe in all the gears except park. Back to the shop. Jose worked on the pipe for a couple of hours so it cleared the linkage but the shifter was still stiff. I limped it home and removed the skip plate again to find that the plastic covered B&M shift cable was melted to the exhaust. These cables when exposed to high heat lock up and must be replaced. I am done with Luna's and this job ended up being 4 days and a total of $500.00 total to Luna's, $60.00 for a new shift cable and 2 days my labor to get it right only to discover that the pipe is not aluminized but it was spray painted with aluminum paint, (not high heat).
