If I could give this company negative stars, I would. THEY.ARE.THE.WORST! They are putting on the carnival at the Strawberry Festival in AG right now. They have bouncers throughout the festival and at the point we saw a jumper and carnival ride (they were isolated from the actual carnival area), there was a sign to buy tickets, but no wrist bands, which I thought was weird. I asked if there were wrist bands and I was told no. I bought 24 tickets for $20. Since my daughter had wanted to go on that jumper and little ride next to it, we spent a total of 7 tickets. We walk around a bit more after that and find the carnival area WHICH IS SELLING WRIST BANDS FOR $25! So an all you can ride wristband for $25 and I had to pay $20 for 24 tickets because I was told that there were no wrist bands by an employee of Luna's Jump. Keep in mind, all bounce houses/jumpers/carnival rides/carnival games are all through Luna's Jump. I go up to the ticket booth in the carnival area, explain that when I bought the tickets on the other side of the festival, the employee specifically said there were no wrist bands. I wanted to trade in the remaining tickets I had and pay the $5 difference so my daughter could have a wrist band. The chick said she couldn't do that as it said on the tickets there are no refunds or exchanges. I said I wanted to talk to the owner, an employee makes a call, the chick I was talking to asked the person making the phone call "Is that Mom?" (MOM?!), talks to her, gets off the phone and says there is nothing they can do as it states right there on the ticket no refunds or exchanges. Oh, I didn't realize Luna's Jump was running a Disneyland type theme park. Are you freaking kidding me? This is obviously a family owned company and they couldn't just take the 17 tickets I had remaining and let me pay the difference of $5 - ESPECIALLY SINCE IT WAS THEIR COMPANIES FAULT FOR TELLING THEIR EMPLOYEES TO TELL PAYING CUSTOMERS IN OTHER PARTS OF THE FESTIVAL THAT THEY ARE NOT SELLING WRIST BANDS!!!! Obviously, I was upset - having some prepubescent girl have an attitude, refusing to make the situation better as it was one of their other employees fault. Hey "MOM/OWNER" - perhaps when doing the festival tomorrow or at any other point - SELL WRISTBANDS WHEREVER PEOPLE CAN BUY SINGLE TICKETS AND IF THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE, HAVE YOUR EMPLOYEES DIRECT THE PERSON TO WHERE THEY CAN BUY A WRISTBAND. Oh, and also, you need to get your employees into check. My daughter went into the laser tag bounce house (FIVE TICKETS GOT YOU FIVE MINUTES) - wasn't in there for five minutes until the employee there called everyone out. When I said "My daughter hasn't been in there for five minutes and all of these other kids were in there way before her." She replied "Well, I timed it for the amount of time they were all in there. Sorry, we have to do that." I said "That's not right and no you don't." Aside from the horrible customer service, the bounce houses themselves were literally smudged/stained with brown - you could especially see it on the jumper designed as a blue sea theme. And besides the dirty bouncers, the first bouncer that my daughter went on was on asphalt. There was an older girl who went down the slide on her side and ended up slamming on the asphalt as Luna's Jump didn't even lay a padded mat down on the ground just in case a child was to land on the ground. The majority of the other bouncers were located in the carnival area which was on the grass. This business seriously sucks. read more

We have used Luna's Jump at least 5 times, maybe more and we have always had a good experience. We have rented their standard size jumpers only. Just make sure that once it is blown up that you check if it is clean inside, the person who delivers the jumper can always clean it. read more

This company is awful! They are contracted out for the rides at the Arroyo Grande Strawberry Festival! Save your money!!! Rent a bounce house at home. Less hassle and heartache. read more

After using them for years, for my kids birthday parties thought they'd be great for my company's summer picnic - boy was I wrong!!! They were 3 hours late with driver claiming he'd called me 20 times and that he'd shown up and we weren't there. He called twice, no MSG and I'd been at the park 2 hours. After arriving late to deliver, driver said he wasnt give the are of the park we were in(it was on the order sheet) they had a competitor pick up our bouncer 1.5 hours early. They charged me full price, to top it off, when the driver delivered the bouncer, he had the audacity to ask me for beer, than, two days later, I get a text message from him that was sexual and rude. JUST HORRIFIC, NEVER USE THEM unless you don't mind your child getting injured. In October 2014, our family visited the interactive pumpkin patch set up by Luna's Jump at Earl Warren Showground. Our four year old son got head injury when he tried one of the jumperoos that had a long steep slide. The slide was steeper than 45 degrees that led to a concrete ground without any buffer zone. My son fell down onto the ground headfirst and scraped his forehead. We had to take him to the emergency room. The staff members on site completely lacked concerns and respect for children's safety. When I went to the ticket office after the accident to ask for refund of unused tickets because the facility was unsafe (before the head injury, one of the fences by the train almost fell on us when gusty wind blew in as the fences were not fixed to the ground), instead of hearing concerns about injury and apologies, a male staff in a loud rude voice pointed to the sign "ride at your own risk" and condescendingly asked if I knew what the sign said. Shame on him for having absolutely no regard for children's safety and not having a drop of decency to apologize when a little child was injured. A similar thing happened a few days later when I called in the company number to get the mailing address: a woman who received my phone call was quite rude and dismissive. I never write reviews... In fact, this may be my very first one. We used Luna's Jumps today for my daughter's 4th birthday party. We found them at the Interactive Pumpkin Patch in October and my kids loved their unique selection of amazing jumpers, slides and combos. I was extremely happy with all aspects of the company. They were great and easy to communicate with leading up to the party. Fernando and Sylvia were a pleasure to work with when they arrived to set up the bouncers. Everything was clean and perfect, set-up took about 15 minutes, and best of all the kids had a BLAST!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They have no regard for child safety and their operators (if you can call them that) don't seem to have any care for their clients. We attended a birthday party over the weekend in which their trackless train was being used. For some reason the driver drove up a huge hill and almost tipped the train over filled with kids while trying to make a turn. If it wasn't for the help of 5 mothers and fathers at the party, there could have been a major accident. read more

Luna's was a lifesaver! Upon planning a company event for around 200 guests, we had agreed to hire this company for a kids' bounce house and large, two-person blow-up slide. My company has used Luna's many times, and they have always delivered. While I believe their bounce houses are great, the real reason I'm writing this review is based off a completely different item. As part of the carnival-themed event I was planning, I had hired a separate company to provide us with a cart-style ice cream freezer, as I felt it'd be a fun, nostalgic way for guests to choose their favorite frozen confection. Literally one day before the event, the company (which shall remain nameless) called to inform me that their ice cream cart was broken, and that they'd have to refund me the amount I had paid. Trying to find an alternative while on a time constraint is not an easy feat, especially considering that I was needing such a rare rental item. After calling what seemed like every event rental company in the greater Santa Barbara area, I was tipped that Luna's also rented an array of carnival-style items, including an ice cream cart! Skeptical at best, I phoned the company, and spoke with Miguel. He informed me that he'd be happy to add the cart to my order (which was less than 24 hours away) and quoted me a fair price. I was so relieved. Miguel and his crew arrived early to my event's venue. They were quick and professional about setting everything up, which I appreciated. We had also ordered a racetrack-style miniature tractor ride for the younger kids - it was a real hit, and Luna's had two of their employees on-site, manning the ride. When the event was over, they came back at the right time and packed everything up in a prompt manner. If you're looking for a good company to handle your event/carnival rental needs, I don't think you'll be disappointed. We can't wait to use their services for our next event.
