Not the best experience I've had in the cafe' world. Nice position and good coffee, pity the staff…read moredoesn't match it. Very offhand and blaze' attitude. Didn't think much of the foodcould do with some more originality and larger portions. Will use it again but only as a stop off point. Let's see if the treatment is better on Saturday 5th at the firework display!! If not, then a good opportunity to visit Le Spice for that wondeful curry.

It's situated near Splash point and not far from the paddling pool near the Aquarena, it's a perfect place to take the children after you've spent the day at the beach. A Summer hangout, its seating area extends to the pebbles. Coast Cafe is one of the few cafes allowed right on the beach. Organic ice cream, illy coffee, tea in china cups, cakes and foccacia sandwiches are served. I can vouch for the delicious ice cream but have not tried any of the other food. I'm planning to soon however
The Beach House

Now the summer seems to be fading away, so is the appeal of the beach house restaurant…read more This is a cafe right on Worthing seafront which has a lot going for and against it. They have a nice selection of world beers - Anchor Steam Beer is one of my favourites so it's a great addition to their fridge! The wine seems very overpriced - we're talking London prices but I'm not convinced the quality justifies the price. The food is basic but fairly good - they only have a tiny kitchen and the burger flipper lad I have seen in there must just be working here as a stop gap but I really feel some really decent food could come out of the kitchen with the right person cooking! There was a chap there for a little while who was serving up some fantastic specials but he has moved on and therefore the menu has suffered. The decked terrace out the front is the show stopper, however there is a bus stop more or less in front of it and therefore the view is compromised fairly regularly by gawping bus passengers staring at you. As I mentioned earlier, this is a place for summer and therefore their trade may die along with the warm vibes so they need to step up with something else to attract their trade in the colder months especially as each time I have popped in the WIFI does not work.

The food stuffs were great, but the bread probably could have had just a little less than a tub of butter on it (I could see my friend's arteries clogging while we chatted over breakfast). I had the Lorraine quiche, which was lovely. The cole slaw, though, was not edible because there was so much mayonnaise. The pastries looked amazing - I definitely will have to try one of those next time - maybe for cream tea or something like that (since the scones looked spectacular). The coffee was EXTRA large - I'd suggest not getting the large if you're not planning to be near a bathroom for a while. The main thing about this place is the view - right there on the sea. The parking lot is of decent size, but you can always park on the street. Even during the winter the place gets packed up, so be sure to grab yourself a table first thing you do when you walk in the door - THEN order. Silly set up for sure, but it is what it is.

Selection of sandwiches, cooked lunches, daily specials and cooked breakfasts. Coffee is freshly made from ground coffee beans and carrot cake is rich and satisfying. There's no place like this in Worthing. A little secret gourmet cafe.

Where else would you get that right in front of the sea!!!! The food, they have cake, traditional fish and chips and pizza. I can only comment on the fish and chips(and cake) and have nothing negative to say about them. Service is prompt. Be aware though it is popular and can be very busy so if I'm doubt book a table and do your best to arrive on time. There is limited seating outside facing the sea. This is a nice back drop for a meeting, weather dependant!! I visit the perch when I'm in the area and can and do recommend it.

With the eccentric charm of Marwoods and the rustic, homely feel of Bill's, you'll find it hard not to love this little place. The interior is shabby and mismatched with lots of lovely little ornaments, posters and random objects dotted around. The owner, Neil (check me out, on first name terms!) is warm and friendly and will go out of his way to make you smile. Once when ordering, I mentioned how tempting the cakes all looked. When my coffee was brought out, with it came a gorgeous slab of Victoria sponge, which he insisted that I could have for free, seeing as it was the end of the day! This is one of my favourite places to sip away on an ice coffee and people watch. I have also tried a cappuccino which was lovely along with a white chocolate and macadamia cookie yum yum! There is both indoor and outsoor seating and free wifi, which I have taken full advantage of(hence the review!) There's a large board with lots of tempting food options, which I will be no doubt be back to try! Oh and did I mention you can also buy your farm eggs here, along with hand made intricately detailed cushions!
