Luna Bohemia brings some really cool people, either for meditations, workshops, gatherings, therapies, etc. I particularly remember a New Year's meditation circle with Edin, a disciple of Sai Baba. This shop also hosts psychic fairs. Other than that, I come here to pick up stones and crystal to use, or to give away. I also buy incense and oils here, they have a really nice selection of really good essential oils. Sometimes I pick some jewelry for gifts also. Went for a wine and mandala painting class and fell in love with the space and the people who helped create it. The owner instantly made us feel like family. The class was great fun for my friends and I and the energy in the room was outstanding. People were creating and laughing and having a wonderful time. The store always has people coming to hold classes, a wide variety of workshops and they do readings. (The calendar is posted online). They have many of the typical things that would be found in a spiritual store.. Crystals, stones, candles, clothes, jewelry, home accents and the like ... BUT I am excited to report that they also have an APOTHECARY center. Yes, the owner makes all kinds of lovely creations right in store. They have a really decent selection of crystals, herbs, pendulums, cauldrons, candles, apothecary items, and more. I really appreciate how well organized the store is. Some other places I've been to have seemed cluttered and it's hard to find what I'm looking for. Everything is nice and neat, and labeled so you know exactly what crystals you're looking at. The store is VERY beautiful and fragrant with incense and herbs. It's also meticulously clean, and I love that there is plenty of hand sanitizer in the front of the store. I don't feel worried shopping here during COVID because it's obvious they clean very well. The associate I've encountered both times (I believe Laura. I'm sorry if the name isn't correct! I'm bad with names!) is very knowledgeable. She was able to make some helpful suggestions for me and went above and beyond to help me pick out the right supplies. I love this place! The entire staff who works here is so light and fun to be around! Ivonne will pick up the vibe on you immediately as you walk in. The vibe she sends out is uncanny, and I appreciate her insight. The shop is filled with all kinds of spiritual trinkets to cleanse the home: from candles and incense to burn inside the home to crystals that you carry with you everywhere. There is plenty for Buddhists and Christians, as well as other faiths. The reading done here left me feeling absolved of my most recent personal issues as well as past recurring behaviors. It mainly focused on self-care, which we can sometimes neglect in favor of caring for everyone around us. You'll see a lot of reviews on here that will say they're expensive, but the reality is that competitive places charge more. It doesn't cost much, and you come out helping a local business. I've been a regular ever since Luna's inception. I've seen people come in and out of this place from the start and Luna's held its own pretty well. First of all, the store is ridiculously beautiful and that's coupled with super sweet and helpful staff, especially Yvonne. There's a lot of variety in items and classes. Some items can be a bit expensive so try to be on the look out for holidays for discounts. Everyone is honestly great at their craft in their own way, but I personally enjoyed Macky's meditations and Michael's rune readings and rituals in particular. Macky's simplicity and empathy made the guided meditation so comfortable, which was a big relief. I never felt pressured to talk and some of us really opened up! It was pretty nice to be with people that felt safe enough to do that. Michael is knowledgeable, professional, and personable; his readings have genuine power and this is coming from someone who's maintained a generally skeptical view about this stuff. This cute little shop had a very attentive and knowledgeable host, I bought a soap and a couple of incense that smell divine. The workers were very helpful and you can tell they truly care about their customers, I even received a cleansing with palo santo. Ivone's energy was negative she was schooling someone about not to trust people and to open the merchandise in front before purchasing.
