I like the "bring a tarot deck take a tarot deck" sharing mentality. I am sad that the business owner has to post about theft in every nook and crannie. The signs are so distracting. I understand that they have to do what they have to do. The energy feels very draining and scarcity centered. That being said, I am so impressed with the sales person behind the counter. I even asked her for her name, but I forget. She was very gracious, warm, friendly, kind, intentional, and professional.I was able to find things like Owls, candles, crystals, and tarot. What a wonderful store! It is filled to the brim with anything and everything related to crystals and incense and more. And the employees who work here really know their stuff. If you ask a question, you get in-depth answers from people who really care about the topic at hand. Very charming store and also a no-pressure feeling from the people who work there. What's not to love?! I forgot my mask in the car so the clerk gave my husband one for me. She did not yell at the people after us who weren't wearing masks after we walked in (even though the sign clearly said to wear a mask). The Healing Diffuser Oil came in handy to keep my "Karen" at bay as it angered me to see people not adhering to a store policy. We scored with a 25% off for checking in. The clerk immediately knew what I was talking about and said, "I gotcha!" The oil came in a cute little purple gift bag with 2 incense. I was shopping for a few stones that were suggested to me by an energy healer, and couldn't be more happier with the customer service and helpfulness of the girls working in Celestial Treasures. I had such a special experience at Celestial Treasures. Over the years I have become more in-tune with my spiritual side. I came to Celestial Treasures searching for some healing crystals for both myself and a loved one, and also some sage. Lucas was so very helpful and welcoming. I had questions and he was so patient and kind and took his time explaining things and provided me with a useful book to help guide me in selecting the best crystals for my needs. The store has a wide and lovely selection of items, and I swear I could have spent hours there. Once I had selected my crystals Lucas performed a cleansing on them and I was able to set my intentions on them. I wasn't expecting that and it was really a very nice touch. To be a New Age bookstore, it has poor Feng Shui. I opened the door and was stopped dead on my tracks by a multi-faced Buddha head on a table. For a quick second I felt like turning around, but I gathered my nerves and walked around it. I'm glad I did because I enjoyed the store. To your right side of the shop you will find figurines, jewelry, crystals, totems, all essentials to help you meditate or improve your spiritual life, while on your left side you have an impressive amount of incenses, candles, herbs for cleansing and tarot card decks. Intertwined with all this merchandise you will find bookcases filled with books covering a vast array of topics, all regarding spirituality. There's books on Tibetan Buddhism, Hinduism, New Age Spirituality, Psychics, Wicca, Shamanism, etc. Possibly because of the small space the collection of books is very mainstream but excellent for beginners. I didn't see any obscure literature so if that is what you are looking for, call before showing up. Besides the merchandise there is a psychic on site. That's an added bonus. I didn't speak to the psychic, so I am basing this review on the merchandise only. For that reason, and because of the scarcity of New Age shops, Celestial Treasures should be your next stop. read more

I needed to get a new tarot deck, well I already had one but I was missing one card, and without the full deck it's useless. So I set out on a little tri-county adventure to find a new deck. But let me clarify for those who do not know, tarot cards are not oracle cards, oracle cards are some kind new age socialist concoction. I'm not saying oracle cards don't work, what I'm saying is they do not represent the complete energy field. Some of them are designed to just tell you what you want to hear, like a bunch of goody little two shoes stuff. Now shopping for a tarot deck is no easy task. If you are an advanced practitioner of the ancient arts finding a new tarot deck is more or less no different a process than when Harry Potter bought his new wand at Ollivander's. Tarot decks are alive, each card connects with a live energy, when you touch them with your hand they spring to life, kind of activated. The stronger the connection means this one is probably for you. But you also have to take in consideration what kind of earth and celestial energy they exude and represent. Some decks are dark & vile, and you can literally feel the demons climbing out of hell towards you when you pick them up. Some are too fairy-ish and feminine. Others confuse the cards with odd imagery, resulting in the energy becoming convoluted. I went looking for a tarot deck at Mystic Sister, Flowlife Holistic Lounge, Crystal Vision and 2 Barnes & Nobles. Mystic Sister - I was tempted to pick up a deck there, but not for their marked up price. FlowLife Holistic Lounge - This place is operated by what I believe is a strong witch, and not a good witch from what I can sense. They mostly had oracle cards by Jesus's newly converted disciple Doreen Virtue, but there were also a few tarot decks. But it's hard for me to concentrate in there as I have to navigate through all of the low vibrating spirits boucing around in that place. I'm sure I'm never coming back here. Crystal Vision - they only had oracle cards, but I do enjoy coming here as they have live trolls patrolling the place, if you have spiritual vision you can see and detect them. Barnes & Nobles - Believe it or not they had a better selection that all of the previous 4 places I went to. I wanted to try one more place so I called Celestial Treasures in Miami and the girl on the phone told me that they had 20 tarot decks to choose from, so I headed down there. Celestial Treasures is a tiny store but it's loaded with some nice stuff. I didn't realize it until I arrived, that not only have I been shopping at this place for over 10 years, but I bought my tarot deck with the missing card from here eons ago. I was there for about an hour sensing and looking at tarot decks, but with the help of the attractive young lady who worked there I finally chose a deck. Celestial Treasures also has many of the same items you'd find at a spiritual supply store like incense, statues, tumbled stones, images, crystals, spiritual jewelry and books etc. read more

What a cute little shop! I had heard of and passed by this shop before, but I never went in until this past weekend. I guess the stars and I finally aligned. The timing was just right. Okay, all jokes aside. Boyfriend and I went to GreenStreet Café, and after a massive brunch, we decided to walk those calories off by walking all around CocoWalk. Well, that was the plan until we saw this shop was actually open. I, being curious as ever, decided to go in and I was floored with all their trinkets. Books, candles, philosophical stuff, you name it, and they had it. I ended up surprising my boyfriend and getting him a magnet for his fridge, while he got me a little gift as well. It consisted of a stone and a mini carrier for it. Completely adorable. Each stone represents different things. Mine represented love. Our cashier, whose name I don't know, was extremely nice. Very smiling, she charged us separately, and after we paid, I asked her some questions. When I first walked into this place a couple of years ago I thought to myself..."what the heck are you doing here?" Then I had a flashback to when I was younger (in college) and doing rune readings for fun during my hardcore goth days. I knew I was drawn to this place for a reason. I really love the book selection and the array of different stones, statues and trinkets. The place smells of nag and the people are very helpful and fun. I like to browse the latest books on Runes and ponder the way it has evolved or just peruse the stones and their meanings. Celestial Treasures is exactly what this place is. You can call it a modern day card reader but it really does not cover its entire meaning. It really offers a whole lot more for all your spiritual needs. I was very impressed with their selection of psychics and priestesses too. Sandra Richardson actually performed the ceremony for my friends wedding and she did a great job. That was my first Wiccan wedding and it really was an unexpected joy to see. I was very impressed at how beautiful the ceremony was. The store has moved to a new location on main highway in that same little mall. It is not tucked away in the corner next to the bike shop any more. Having had my fair share of fake and silly experiences in the past, I'm skeptical of "predictive" readings that over-promise and under-deliver. Leslie definitely delivered. I recently went to this store for the first time as the recommendation by my amazing bestie April W. I came here in search for crystals for myself and my mother who has health issues. Upon entering the store I was immediately greeted by the lady working. I wish I remembered her name because she was very sweet. I browsed the store but had specific crystals in mind for myself. There were sooooo many crystals to choose from I actually became a bit overwhelmed so I turned away from the crystals and browsed the other items in the store. I went back to the crystals and found 3 for myself and 3 for my mom. What I loved was that with each crystal there was a little piece of paper that had the name and description of the crystal. The prices were reasonable with each crystal having it's own price which ranged from around $3-$10 each. The crystals were different shapes and sizes. I bought some incense and sage as well. I would have liked to see more modern decks, like the Vegabond. Crystals are overpriced but I expected that for the neighborhood. My gripe was the VIBE. 2 employees and neither greeted us. Neither tried to help or show a smile. Was so awkward in a small, quiet shop... standing next to them while they talked and they ignored us. I'm all about energy and it was straight awkward in there. so I'm not the superstitious type, but this kind of stuff always intrigues me. I found myself one day walking around the grove after lunch with a friend and all of a sudden we were drawn by the scent of lavender incense, which led us to this little hidden corner. We went in not really looking for anything in particular and perused around for a bit, playing with the jewelry, smelling the candles and oils, etc. This place is super comfortable, not like a creepy "witchcraft" store, but more like a hippies' living room. We noticed a sign on the corner that had psychic reading prices. My friend thought it'd be fun, but the prices were kind of expensive and varied with the psychics. So she decided to inquire about it. The lady sitting on the main table agreed to do a shared reading (which she never does because she doesn't capture the persons "aura" fully) of 1/2 an hour for the both of us for $40, because she felt "good vibes" from us (mind you her readings are usually $65 for 1/2 and $120 for the full) and I thought, what the heck, lets do it, my life is kinda shitty now, lets see what she has to tell me. Rev. Sandra Cheryl Richardson is a pro! What a kick-ass lady, she took us to the back room, which is more like a back closet, but this only enhanced the experience so don't expect a round table and a crystal ball. We ended up talking to her for over an hour, and she still charged us what she promised. Not only that but she "read" I had been into wicca (yeah...don't crack, I know you watched The Craft in middle school too...don't judge me), and she proceeded to give me a couple of books on getting back to my "spirituality".
