Thank goodness it is temporary stay $2200 bike was stolen in the first month. Front office refuses to return any calls about the break ins and theft. Left 8 messages with security and front office. Not one returned phone call from local or corporate office! Local police were only people to respond. Local police very responsive but when I made report they were running my name through the system like I was the criminal. Local police said they would check cameras but never heard back from them either. They just simply don't care about their customers. They also lied about the security because THERE IS NO SECURITY In am in fear of my life living here and I have never had that feeling before.

I have been attempting for 7 weeks to receive my security deposit back from a cancelled application and have been absolutely blown off by management. Phone calls are rarely, if ever, answered. Don't bother leaving a voice mail; they will not call back. Emails to management are passed around to others, leading to nothing actually getting done. I've shown up physically to the leasing office, and nobody who runs the desk seems to be the person who has authority to do anything. I even showed up once where the office was closed on a Friday with no external notices, leading me to waste an entire afternoon trying to be proactive and speak with a person. I do not understand how the entire leasing staff can be so incompetent for an apartment complex that is revered as well as they are. If you ever decide to move in, I pray you never need to get help from anyone in management.

Kenny, the assistant manager is fantastic at communication. Nicole made sure that my situation with my ac was handled in no time. Oswald, the maintenance technician, was amazing. He was kind, attentive, and able to fix the problem with my ac in no time. It took him a little under an hour to get it back up and running. What a great team we have here! 2026 Update: I truly have never wanted to move out of a place more. My packages are constantly stolen, the package room door is BROKEN so random strangers are always coming in. THERE IS A HOMELESS MAN IN THE DUMPSTER EVERY NIGHT looking for food. Management will gaslight you and say they are taking care of it. None of the amenities work, the gym burned down and has been closed since September 2025. The grills have a "do not use" sign on them. The pool is closed. I have been here almost 2 years and I have never used it because it is closed. The fire pits don't work, we don't even have gas.... The hallways are disgusting, constantly dirty and one of the neighbors left their cats litter box remains in the hallway. EXTREMELY noisy neighbors who pound on the walls and bang on the floors. People are constantly smoking weed on balcony's, blasting music from their cars, the gates are broken, always open, and major lack of security!! I have sent several noise complaints and nothing has been done. There is dog poop everywhere and the only place to walk your dog at night, "safely", is in the parking lot. Not to mention they put "curb your dog" signs everywhere, so my dog apparently has to learn how to use the toilet in my bathroom. I still stand by Kenny being a good assistant manager. He is doing the best he can with a bad situation. He's the best thing that's happened to this community.

When the complex got new management in 2020-2021 (I think), it all went downhill from there. Haphazard parking layout, expensive (and fast-increasing) rent, no elevators, thin walls, frequent outside visitors that cause disruption, poorly maintained amenities (the fire pit NEVER works), Verizon knocking on doors frequently since the change of management (they have a partnership w leasing now or something? they're at all the community events and overbearing, making it feel like a sales pitch), the list continues. Halfway through living there, they started charging $30-40 per month for "community electricity", which allegedly is ONLY the lights in the hallways, not the community room lights, tvs (on 24/7), fitness room. But $30-40 a month plus so many other odd charges they continued to add meant they could raise the total cost of rent without TECHNICALLY raising base rent. There is ONE package room for the entire complex, meaning about 70 package lockers for HUNDREDS of people. Very often your package doesn't get put in the locker and just is left out, which leads to theft. I have had several packages misplaced by the office due to lack of lockers AND I've had several packages stolen. It got to the point Amazon just drops their branded bin of packages, makes you sort through it, and they come back and pick it up later once empty. My favorite was when I was "asked" to give the place a 5 star review during a community event. They waited until they watched me do it. They weren't kidding. I just crossed my fingers and waited for the day that I could change it. Honorary mention to my downstairs neighbor that screamed at the top of her lungs from 7pm-2am most nights. Wake-up-from-a-dead-sleep level scream. We did end up talking to her once after many attempts and her not answering, but it didn't make a difference. Niquan said he would give a formal warning, but he never did. The office loved to say things to your face to make it seem like things would change (fix fire pit, clean grill, etc), but it's clear that management/ownership is a brick wall and only cares about the bottom line. The apartments themselves are standard for the area, nothing special. Two stars for the stainless steel appliances and attractive bright design. There are little things that tell you it was a rushed job (walk-in closet door opens in so it's impossible to use half of it, paint is shoddy enough that if your furniture even touches the wall, it will rub off). This was a great starter apartment all things considered for my college roommate and I, then later a post-grad place for myself and parents who would frequently visit. I will say that Hannah in the office has really made a difference, but the change can't start at the bottom. Whatever venture capital firm bought out the place needs to just CARE about people, which I just don't think will happen. Then again, a lot of complexes are like this nowadays, so I'm sure it's better than some places. But for me, I was sick of it and had to move. The grass is always greener.

The police asked me to alert the leasing office. I did so, and they asked me why I was even there trying to tell them about it, made a weird statement that "safety is everyone's responsibility" (weird because obviously I was trying to address it by making a police report and telling them) and then said "well, you didn't get hit, did you?". I expect better than that. Will move as soon as my lease is up.
