I had a very disappointing experience at Kenny Family Chiropractic. I believe I was seen by Dr…read more Malia Kenny. While she was polite, that's unfortunately the only positive thing I can say. She was simultaneously treating three patients at the same time, which immediately made me uncomfortable. It felt like I was part of an assembly line rather than an actual patient receiving care. I kept wondering whether I should wait my turn to be focused on--or if anyone was actually focused at all. The "treatment" consisted of about 2 minutes with a laser and 7 minutes of shock therapy, followed by a very brief and surface-level conversation about why I was there. There was zero effort to get to know me, my concerns, my history, or my goals. No questions, no engagement, no real assessment. My copay was $5, and honestly, the level of care reflected exactly that. It felt cheap, rushed, and impersonal--like minimal effort for minimal cost. I left feeling unimportant, rushed, and unheard. The whole place felt like a drive-thru chiropractic service--get them in, plug them into a machine, get them out. If you're looking for personalized care, attention, or a provider who actually takes the time to focus on you, this is not the place. Do not recommend.

I was very skeptical about the activator tool. It doesn't really feel like it is doing much during the session, but afterwards it definitely made a difference. I've seen Umair twice now for stretching, and he is incredible. He's professional, knowledgeable, and somehow knows exactly how to move and stretch my shoulders and arms in the most effective way. The relief is real. What I appreciate most is that he also gives me practical techniques to do at home between visits which makes such a difference in my day-to-day work behind the chair. Today was my first visit with Dr. Moninder Chana for acupuncture, and we added red light therapy and cupping. She took the time to really understand my body and what I need. Her professionalism and attentiveness made me feel completely at ease. I walked out feeling supported, aligned, and deeply cared for. The front desk team was warm, accommodating, and welcoming the whole experience feels intentional and calming from the moment you walk in. Ritual is such a gift to Vallejo. I'm so thankful to have found my new home for self-care. Thank you, Ritual.

Dr. Nuño is particularly known for working with cervical spine (neck) issues. He is super nice, caring and skilled at identifying and treating the problem. Once I presented with knee pain, he treated my knee, and I walked out of the office, without pain and have continued for over a year without knee pain. It would have taken weeks or months of X-rays and physical therapy to (maybe) achieve the results he got in 30 min. I can't say enough about their skill and effectiveness.

I've been seeing Melinda Wiggins for over 7 years now. She is everything I love about a real…read morenatural healer; She zeros in on the source of your problems intuitively and besides being a good listener, she also finds the things you didn't know you needed that are related. She's well-trained in a wide range of styles and has a far-ranging grasp of the real science behind her treatments, but she can also speak easily in layman's terms about how it works and why it helps. My typical appointments center around her pinpoint acupuncture skills (pun intended), expert massage and stretching to ready the body for the acupuncture to be painless and precise, and then comforting relaxation time while the treatment works. She then often follows up with herbal medicinal treatment. She suggests the best places for supplies to help you stay healthy and avoid those aches and pains in the future. She really knows how to usher you in as a pained, crippled wreck, and usher you out as a completely new person, heathy and happy. The hardest part is just remembering how you had been when you went in, because you feel so good afterwards. If you want someone who can truly handle your issues holistically, Melinda Wiggins is the kind of natural-born healer you are looking for. She was the first person to encourage me to meditate in a style I now use just about daily. Her focus is truly body and mind. She also gave me help on finding a stretch to reach one of the most awkward muscles to get to in the middle of my back. I now use it whenever it gets tight, and no one else has ever shown me any way to stretch that particular muscle (even when I had Kaiser and various other HMO style health care treatments). She really knows her stuff and she can find and solve the problems you may have thought you had to give up seeking help for. I cannot recommend her more highly.
