Very rude management, problems with water pressure, creepy old men. Keep your kids with you.

There is a small dog park, the bath houses are really nice and SUPER CLEAN, the staff is very friendly and helpful, they have an AWESOME glampimg site, they have activities like movies on the lawn, they offer kayak tours now, and it is very close to the beach. Update: Still love this place although rates have more then doubled since our stay last year. I was disappointed that no one emailed or called to tell us of rate charges since we had our reservation a year in advance...we found out when we got here

They make you pay in full up front and if you don't cancel more than 14 days out you lose half your money. So for 3 nights we lost over $150. Imagine if you book a week or more how much you would lose. Not worth it. How could we cancel in time with the Nor Easter as no one knew that far in advance. Worse yet is when we cancelled we asked them to pass our dissatisfaction on to the owners and they said this is the most common complaint and the owners DON'T CARE! Will never consider this campground again.

A pet-friendly journey for sure. The store looks well-stocked with cold drinks for all ages, local brews, some souvenirs and RV supplies, and a few groceries. This is a passing-through kind of KOA as it's right on the highway, but the sound wasn't the worst. We didn't peek at the facilities as we were too busy hiding in the AC of our RV, but the WiFi was strong, and it was a perfect spot between Savannah and DC, with yummy eats nearby. We'd come back.

The reservation and check-in was easy and our site was ready upon our early afternoon arrival. The staff in the office was very friendly and explained all the ammenties and drew the directions to our site on the map provided there was no escort to our site but it was very easy to find and get set up. The site was very level and all the utilities were in excellent condition, we were at site 41 which is one of the premium sites which included a large concrete patio with a few chairs around a sunken fire pit and another high top table with four chairs which all looked fairly new. This site was very clean and there was plenty of room between all the sites unlike a lot of KOA Campgrounds. This KOA worked out perfect for us and one I will gladly recommend to others and one I will definitely stay at again if traveling to or through the area...
