The food was excellent I thought you had a great flavor to it especially the chicken wings they were delicious the jalapeno poppers were delicious . All together all the food was served with a great presentation. Happy Birthday 3/14/2026 I would like to also say thank you for the invite I truly had a great time and it was awesome visiting with everyone stay safe and have a great year see you next year.

The chicken however was like rubber. I ate half a small piece and put the rest to the side. My husband had the Pulled Pork platter which is normally good. The meat was really dry. I ate all the pasta and told our server about the chicken being like rubber and she stated that she's mentioned that exact thing to the cooks but that maybe if a customer complains they would possibly listen. What made me a little annoyed though was that I ate none of the chicken yet they didn't at least bump off a few bucks off my meal. The service was fine but I feel like over the years this has become my last choice versus my first choice.

In fact, I've never had issues with service and I've been there probably a dozen times in the past couple years at least. The food is so good (love the pretzel and beer cheese!) the meat in the dishes is always way more than you'd think, and the prices are also very reasonable for what you get. Honestly, probably undercharged a little. My husband and I even used them to cater our wedding a the food was phenomenal as always. The burnt ends were so freaking good! As for the food itself, AMAZING! Never had an issue with it, the quality is reliably consistent and haven't yet found something to dislike about it. The ambience is always nice and relaxed on a typical day. There is plenty of space and room for tables, so it never feels crowded. I think we've been there once on a game day, and it wasn't obnoxious or loud then either (like other bars get to be). Beautiful decor and art all around. It feels very welcoming and homey. If you're stopping through, this is probably the #1 place to go! Cannot recommend enough. I always recommend Iron Rail Brewing to friends and family who are stopping through too. *tip: because it is downtime, parking can be a little tricky at times, but there are usually a couple side streets with a few spots available.

Wait times with a toddler are decidedly noticeable. My kids like the beer. I enjoyed a peachy cocktail. My catfish was great as was the potato salad I switched for fries. Hush puppies were crispy as I like them! I very much enjoyed my dinner here!

My husband ordered the ribs and okra, and I got a shrimp po boy sandwich with collard greens. The young man at the register was very helpful & efficient, and we quickly found a table. I needed to use the restroom while I waited for our order, but a sign on a door in the corner said 'out of order' so sadly, no bathroom. The young man from the register soon brought out our order, and we were happy! I grew up with peppery collards on the south side of Chicago, and man! I was surprised to have such a good cup in KS! They were hot, so tender & peppered, and the meat in them was lean & juicy. My po boy had 5 shrimp- almost too many to fit into the roll, but they were breaded & fried, hot & crispy. The roll was fresh & well- stocked with tomato, lettuce & mayo. There is a free 'sample' of coleslaw given on each order it seems, but I did not care for mine. My husband really enjoyed his ribs; they weee smoky & tender and the portion was good. The okra was kind of a bummer; clearly an out-of-the-frozen bag kind, but he said it was clear the kitchen had prioritized the ribs, which were awesome. We were sad to see a lack of variety in sauce, but what we did have was delightful. I highly recommend this place, and will likely be back soon, just for the collards!
