Hard to imagine an airline lounge worse than some of the ones in the U.S., but British Airways has…read moreoutdone itself with their so called Executive Club lounge in Stuttgart. The lounge is old and dingy (see the pic of the sofa). All the furniture is worn well past it's 1960s prime. Food options in this lounge make the United Club's look like gourmet meal as the only food are packaged snacks...the only healthy food is whole fruit and even the fruit appeared days passed its prime. The other disappointment was that I couldn't get the free lounge WiFi to work. I had to use the airport free WiFi...and had to do that before checking into the lounge as I couldn't bring up my BA boarding pass. My advice on this lounge is to pass and certainly not to pay for it!

Can I give zero stars for this lounge? Please?…read more World's smallest airport lounge - serving American Airlines, British Airways, Iberian, and a bunch of others including the entire One World alliance. Maybe 10 tables and some chair seating, possibly fits 40 people and when I stopped in there was standing room only for a chair! No restrooms within this "lounge" - nothing "lounge-ish" whatsoever about this place. Had a shot of Baileys then bailed. MUCH more room in the general terminal area. Way beyond disappointing. The words "sad" and "pathetic" come to mind...if you are into crowded spaces and sitting on a stranger's lap, this lounge is perfect!

Pro - you're able to easily access a lot of places in Europe quite easily. Most of the staff is quite helpful. Con- parking, rental cars (sooo many garages), security is hardcore (which is good but they're sticklers for liquids, clear bags, etc), and security line! Pro-tip: if your ticket shows terminal 3, they're all connected! This is what I have for the time being but it lacks lounges and is pretty busy. Maybe a train to another airport if you have the time.

The airport as such is good, no complaints. It is clean, functional and efficient. Shops and…read morerestaurants offer a good range of goods and food to cater for the majority, I would think. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The big let down is the most unfriendly and often impertinent staff at the security gates. I think they forget that passengers are actually their customers and should be treated as such. Instead, they must think we are a crowd of kids. I travel a lot, and I have never come across anything like it, today was extremely offensive. As a suggestion, why don't you send a member or two of management as "mystery passengers"? To get the full experience, pretend you don't understand everything, just as it happened today next to me with an elderly gentleman. And the behaviour I experienced and witnessed had nothing to do with being busy. We are all busy in our jobs and travelling is often part of it. To risk loosing customers is self damaging and also affects colleagues and many other people. Perhaps a few simple training sessions help. In particular the crew on T2 from this morning (24th March around 9.30 am) would definitely benefit from an imminent session. Unbelievably rude, unhelpful and unfriendly.
