We absolutely love Lucy's!! Food is good and the atmosphere with the Saturday night bands makes for a great night out!!

Decided to give this place a chance again. Friday our service was great, the young man seemed to want to earn his tip. Bluegill and fried cod were just ok. Sunday afternoon we went for a bite before I had to go to work. Walk up to the bar and get ignored for a few minutes. Waitress took our order, just two sodas, a burger and a wrap. 45 min later we're still sitting there without even a check in or update for us. Paid for our sodas and left. What is it with this place and its employees? Do none of them like to make money?! We may not be regulars but we are locals who go out a lot. Bye read more

The food is good, but we waited over 2 hrs for our food. The server made no effort to inform us of the lengthy wait and only checked with us twice. A different party complained to the owners of the same problem and experience and they acted as if they couldn't care less. read more

Acheap spot for cheap food and beers. Not a bad thing, but not a place to get good food but a spot on the road to get frozen or premade meals made to order. The only thing Korean about the tacos were the scallions. Shredded cheddar cheese isn't Korean. Waitresses aren't knowledgeable about menu items but that isn't surprising given the food. A note to the wait staff: if you drop off a check, you need to go back to the table to collect the payment. It's not self explanatory that you have to go back to the bar to pay after being waited on. read more

My wife and I are senior citizens (with a capital S), but we like to dance, and listen to music that pre-dates "jump-jump" music, if you know what I mean. We have been to Lucy's on several occasions. We usually eat first, then wait for the music. Recently, we saw 2 different groups. Tony Rocker was the first, and was great! the last time we were there, we heard a band called the Fort Nigng Band. While they were warming up it appeared they may be talented musicians. However, as they started to play their first set, the volume went up to the point of painful to our ears. I went over to the man on the sound board, and asked if he had a decibel meter, as sound over 90 decibels over a period is said to cause damage to hearing. He pulled out his cell, and the meter reading was 100-115 decibels! When I asked him to cut it back 10-20, he referred me to another man who was videoing on his phone, When I asked him to lower the sound level, another person, who I thought might be management, was also shouting that others were complaining over the volume as well. We tried to dance the second # after my request, and my wife noticed the hard beats were causing me to wince, We decided to leave, and as we passed the man said to be in control, he suggested we might be happier standing at the far end of the room away from the pand. talking to friends several days later, that had seats in the bar room several feet further from the dance floor, said they found the sound levels uncomfortable as well. The food was good, and the service as good as could be expected, as the room was understaffed. Okay I agree with some of this the math on the receipts. It is prob a system error but still inexpensive for small town WI just get the right stuff and manage your expectations. Burgers great and Wings excellent. Wed is Pasta night Chicken Parm was good spaghetti was nostalgic:). Long story short, no help, food was all wrong, waitress fought with me about things that were wrong, waited over an hour for our food to come. No apologies, just a snotty waitress who said she didn't cook it and too bad! Won't be back. Since ownership changed the kitchen closes at 8:00. Because of this, we ordered food "to go" so we could get food. We stayed and had drinks (6). When we paid our tab there was. $1.00 charge per "to go" box. If want to recover the cost of your "to go box" charge more for your food, don't charge me for a box. Pulled in on a beautiful Sunday for lunch. We were the only Bike on the lot. Did not see any specific Bike parking. We were not greeted by anyone when we walked in. The local heads turned to see who was walking in. We sat at a high top which were abnormally high compared to the accompanying stools. Waitress was ok but did not speak to welcome to, did not mention any potential specials or ask if we were going to eat, just what do you want to drink. Food was ok but felt a little pricey for what you get and the area. Would not recommend as a destination but ok for a quick stop when going by. read more

Won't be going back to Lucky's Hideaway!! Although the fish was good, the 5-6 girls behind the bar were lost as hell, tripping over each other, not helping customers (short of course throwing beer cans at their heads), didn't know how to make drinks, downright clueless (obviously this is management's fault). We were there at 4:45 til 5:30. While watching the bartenders make drinks I was floored. ZERO, and I mean ZERO booze in the drinks (no joke, you literally could NOT see booze in the bottom of the glass). Lady says, could you please put sum vodka in there? (adds a splash... and asks, more?) Ya at least a shot please, she says. I looked at the glass and assumed she hadn't put the vodka in yet. This was was the way all 5 of the bartenders were making them. The barenders were also clearing tables. They would bring the stuff behind the bar to dump. They dug in the food baskets to take silverware out to throw the food and garbage out. THEN would turn around and grab glasses, ice and booze bottles to mix drinks WITHOUT washing their hands! Grease, dirt, snot rags, you name it! All over their hands now all over your drinks and food. Can you say cross contamination?!?! Not to mention at least 4 difference people had to come up to get their own soda and drinks in the 45 minutes we were there. Obviously there is NO management or leadership to run that place. In from out of town and stopped for a fish fry after golf. Just had the most amazing onion rings/strings ever!!! Grab some summer shandy and an order of these. You will not be disappointed. Service was amazing. The bar was recently updated and the feel was so much better than most of the other rundown bars in the area. read more

I really wanted to like this place but our experience was horrible. I'm giving it two stars because our waitress was the only mediocre thing about that place. We were told it would be a long wait and we said ok that's fine and we ordered an appetizer right away to hold us over until our meal came but the appetizer (cheese curds) came almost an hour into our wait. Our meal came an hour and 20 min after we ordered. We were just about to leave when the waitress told us our food was on its way. Besides waiting for our food for 1 hour 20 min, what really pissed us off was the fact that people who came in after us, received their food before us. The waitress gave my husband 2 free beers for the inconvenience. Just an FYI: This place has no order. We walked in and luckily found a spot right away but we watched at least 10 people come in and go because there was no service provided. OMG the worst burger ever. The Wisconsin burger comes with burnt onion straws and cheese curds. The meat was burnt too so you really could taste the flavors. I enjoyed the seasoned fries and the vodka cranberry was good. You can actually taste the vodka. I told the waitress to tell the cook the burger was the worst ever. We stop at Lucy's everytime we are in the area. Their food is surprising! The flavors in the sauces, the combinations they put together make it worth the stop. Always clean, great servers. Some of our favorites include the amazing burgers, the Havarti and ham sandwich, and the beet salad side. Love being surprised by unique flavors and high quality food!!! read more

On one of the snowiest days of the year, We ventured out for breakfast. I totally called to make sure they were open, which they were. but the breakfast was the worst that I've ever had at a restaurant or a bar. The biscuits and gravy were very bad. The gravy tasted like something out of a can, and low and behold it was! It wasn't even sausage gravy it was ground beef! I love their burgers and their chicken but I don't think I will ever eat breakfast there again! The service was very friendly but the food lacked imagination and effort for breakfast. Sausage gravy is one of the easiest things ever to make, and for $5.75 you expect something Homemade! I could of made it at home for less! But I wanted to enjoy my day off work! I've been playing volleyball there all summer. Eating and drinking every Wednesday night when we play. It's always been a 50/50 on weather your food will be hot or not. Tonight we waited 15 min to even be acknowledged. Another 30+ minutes for our food. My friends ordered a margarita pizza which came with burnt edges and burnt basil on top, also had pizza sauce on it which margarita pizzas are not supposed to have. The waitress said she would have it taken off the bill. They did not have time to send it back and get something else we had to play volleyball in a few minutes. When we got done with volleyball and went to pay the bill the waitress told us the manager said that because they ate the pizza that only half the price of the pizza would be taken off, and the manager had conveniently left for the day and they could call tomorrow if they wanted to talk to her. I have never been this overwhelmingly disappointed in my entire life. The service (if you could even call it that) was awful and we left before we could even make the mistake of ordering food. The bartender made it clear that patrons are UNwelcome, based on her condescending attitude and apparent lack of ability to do her job. We went for lunch as a party of six. The restaurant only had five other tables where people were eating. We were greeted immediately and drink order was taken. Drinks arrived in a timely manner. We ordered our lunch and waited and waited and waited! After 45 minutes, my friend's two appetizers came out along with my husband's BLT sandwich which bacon was way over cooked, but not quite burnt. 15 minutes later, my beef brisket sandwich came out along with my friend's son grilled cheese and fries. I was surprised my brisket was cold, and it really was not very good or tasty. I ordered the beet salad as a side instead of fries and it was amazing. Definitely the best beet salad I have ever eaten! Probably 10-15 minutes later, the last two people in our group received their food. The cook actually brought out one plate telling our friend to be careful as it was "very hot and would burn her mouth." Imagine her surprise when she bit into her food and it was cold. We were all very disappointed with the food being served two people at a time as the whole point of going out to eat is to enjoy a meal together.The restaurant was NOT busy. The owner was there and never came up to the table to say hello or inquire how the meal was. Extremely disappointed with the food and length of time, had to wait to receive our food.Would definitely not recommend and we will not be returning. read more
