What an amazing team!! Each artist has their own unique styles, so there's something for everyone here. Paul has done beautiful cover ups for friends, but I'm absolutely in love with the pieces he created for me. I'm so excited to see what else he's come up with to complete the mural we've started on my leg. Also, HUGE shout out to James for fixing the daith piercing I had done elsewhere that wouldn't quite heal. He helped me figure out why, then resolved the issue by replacing the jewelry with a piece that actually fit right. If you're looking for a shop that's full of fun, entertaining people who will keep you laughing and forgetting that you've signed up to have little needles jabbed into you over and over again PS - congrats Lucky Strike on your recent wins at the Philadelphia Tattoo Convention!! read more

Got a tattoo from Matt at Lucky Strike. It was perfect, exactly as I envisioned it. You cant beat the artistry of this guy, a true master! My tattoo wasn't exactly mainstream, but he understood the concept and nailed it! I'll recommend him to anyone. read more

Highly over priced. They make you put down a $40 deposit then surprise you with a $75 dollar fee for your piercing. But by then it's to late, no way to get your deposit back. $75 dollars for an ordinary piercing dose not include jewelry. Normal prices are $40 to $50 dollars everywhere else. read more

Just got home from having my cartilage pierced and it was hands down the best experience I've had by far. I went in with an idea that I wanted for years and James IMMEDIATELY told me that he wasn't comfortable doing what I wanted because he knew it wouldn't heal properly. We chatted for a quick minute and came up with a different plan and I could not be happier! Not only does the end product look amazing (I can't stop smiling when I look in the mirror) but the entire process was incredible as well. James immediately made me feel comfortable and made sure to get the placement just right for each one of my piercings. even though I have been pierced a few times before, he talked me through every step and calmed any anxiety that I had. I Would 100% recommend him as a go to for your first piercing! Amazing conversation, incredible professionalism, I will happily make the 45 minute drive if I need even the slightest thing done!!! read more

Emily does such great work and is great conversation. I wouldn't go to any one else to do my tattoo. Everyone's work is great here I just really enjoy her girly/cute touch to her pieces! read more

I've had half a dozen pieces done by both Matt and John. Their work is incredible and worth every penny. I recommend them hands down over any artist in the greater philly area. The shop is like a family, the art is incredible and the location is perfect. If you saw their old shop from many years ago then you know how far they've come. I live in Atlanta now and still ride up to quakertown to get a bit added or a piece re-inked. I wouldnt have it any other way. read more

Matt did my first tattoo about a year and a half ago. This past weekend he did #5 for me (he also did #2 thru #4). Everyone at Matt's shop is friendly, easy to talk to, the kind of people you would want to hangout with. The place is spotless, Matt is neat and meticulous with his setup, his designs and how he talks to his customers. I've referred 2 friends and they loved their experience. If you are a veteran or a newbie, stop by, bring doughnuts or some Mexican food from down the street...you won't be disappointed!!! read more

I've had all my piercings done here and always have had great customer service. Clean shop, very enthusiastic about their work and teaching clients how to clean and maintain piercings and tattoos. I Love the after care cards; they are extremely helpful especially for those new to piercings. 5 stars in my personal experience. However, the person that I went to for piercings is no longer there. My friend had recently gotten a bridge piercing and the first time it was done crooked. The second attempt it was done crooked again! Obviously being unhappy, she called the shop to express she was not happy about her piercing, and management was extremely rude to her and very unhelpful. Understanding things do go wrong, I felt as if being rude to an unsatisfied customer was not professional. That is why I give thus review three stars instead of five. read more

James did five piercings for me. He did an amazing job, they are placed perfectly and did kept me from being nervous. Would definitely recommend to someone else and would definitely go back to him for more! read more

Went there to get my septum pierced a little bit ago. Very nice people with decent pricing. The only problem was they didn't give me any opinions for rings so I had to request a different one. The other problem I had was when he pierced it he did not use a tool to make sure it was completely straight. So now I finally have the piercing I wanted but it is crooked. As I said very nice but not exactly what I expected from a piercer. read more

Jen at Lucky Strike did a great job on my Eagles tattoo, however, her demeanor left much to be desired. She didn't greet me or call me by my name. This was my first and only tattoo. I mentioned that I was nervous but she never acknowledged me and only asked me once during the 90 minutes if I was ok. I know this isn't a spa but common courtesy would have been appreciated, read more

Never had work done there just yet, but did go in to get a price on something i will be getting soon. The place was extremely clean , very big and open. The staff extremely helpful.. I have seen a lot of people who have gotten tattooed there and their work looks extremely well done! read more

I went a couple weeks go with some friends to get some piercings done. I got my rook, one friend got a helix, and another got a navel. We were all extremely impressed with James and I would easily recommend him to anyone in the area as well as return for any other piercings. The shop was beautiful and clean, furthermore, the staff was all extremely welcoming and kind. All abided by the mask policy and sanitization which was also comforting. During the piercing process James was very calming and walked us through each process as it occurred. The pricing for the quality of the jewelry, the process, and the cleanliness of the procedure and establishment was well worth it and very acceptably priced. A couple weeks later my rook is healing perfectly! Extremely impressed and will return for future piercings. read more

Matt (owner) has done all my work and I do miss having this place around now that I moved. Matt does awesome custom work, though over the years has gotten very booked up. Which is good to see him busy, but don't think you can walk in all the time and get him to tattoo that minute. But you never know. :) The new studio is really nice too. I often found myself coming in here just to talk to the staff. read more

I came here for my first tattoo after a recommendation from a friend who has gotten her three tattoos all by Johnny. My mom and I wanted matching, realistic gerbera daisies. Richie did them for us and I couldn't be happier! He didn't talk a whole lot which I personally prefer since I'm not big on small talk, but he was very polite and so willing to work with us. He designed the flowers a little bigger than we'd wanted which put them a little over our budget, so he scaled them down a bit and made them fit within our budget. Plus the daisies are gorgeous and the price can't be beaten! I'll be coming back for more realistic flowers, and my mom will too! read more

3 mini tattoos done here; my daughter had her's done here too. We love them! 2 different artists but they listened to what we wanted and gave us perfection. Being in the medical field I appreciate the cleanliness and asceptic techniques, plus the aftercare instructions. This is a class act ...would and have recommended to friends. read more

If you are looking for top quality tattoo work from a great group of people, lucky strike is the best place to go! I reached out to Emily for help in covering up an eye sore on my back. It was horrible and I was so unhappy. Before committing to that, Emily drew up a GORGEOUS mandala piece for my shoulder/collar bone area. Her line work was perfection and she took her time and did a phenomenal job. I was so happy with my piece that we went ahead and began working on my cover up. She was so easy to work with and really put all she had into drawing up the perfect design for me. This is her first cover up and you'd never know! We just completed a white out session to draw out some of the heavy black from the previous piece and the outline and black fill in is done. Next we move on to color and I am so excited. I recommend not only Emily, but lucky strike in general, to everyone! The best quality work anywhere in my area or surrounding areas! read more

Worst customer service around. personal ink is looked at as an inconvenience instead of a meaningful piece of art. the attention to detail is less then stellar and the lack of time put into my piece was pathetic. I lost my deposit after I was unhappy with the choices presented to me. instead of them working with me on making it right, I was met with attitude and " if you would like to leave another deposit for another sketch" , really? I rather take my cash to a shop with real business morals and better artists that can actually draw and put something into this art form. do not waste your time or money on this place. Save your cash for a true artist that wants to make your custom tat a true work of art. read more
