I went in and ordered the number one seller the Long Beach made with Surimi Crab, Shrimp Tempura, and Spicy Tuna, Chipotle Mayo and Eel Sauce. Cucumber, Won Ton Strips and Guacamole. All rolled up in rice and seaweed paper. It's cut in half and I promise you once you take a bite into it. You will know exactly what I'm talking about. It was honestly one of the best things they ate all weekend. I would've gone back easily two more times to try the others. So if you're a sushi lover and new operas this once for you, make sure you stop in. I think there's possible locations around Vegas. This one is between the Harrahs and the Linq.

The location itself is convenient and has plenty of seating both inside and outside. If you want to enjoy the Vegas weather and do some people watching, the outdoor seating is a great option. I ended up sitting inside to escape some of the noise from the promenade. Everything was clean and the booth seating was surprisingly comfortable. Ordering is done through a kiosk. Beyond sushi burritos, they also offer sushi rolls, hand rolls, bowls with rice or greens, teriyaki bowls, sides, desserts, and drinks. There's definitely enough variety for everyone to find something. I decided to order The Mission, which comes with salmon, imitation crab, shrimp tempura, poke sauce, spicy mayo, cream cheese, avocado, and wonton strips. I opted to leave off the cream cheese because I wanted something a little fresher and lighter tasting. I also added eel sauce and carrots since there are several sauces and add-ons available, including extra proteins and premium ingredients. My burrito came out to around $20, which honestly wasn't shocking. That's pretty comparable to what I'd expect to pay back home in San Diego, so at that point it really came down to whether the quality justified the price. The first thing I noticed was the size. This is probably the smallest sushi burrito I've ever been served. That being said, the rice-to-filling ratio was actually excellent. One of my biggest complaints with sushi burritos is when they're stuffed with rice and skimp on everything else. That definitely wasn't the case here. There were generous chunks of salmon throughout and all of the ingredients tasted fresh. The problem was that the burrito wasn't wrapped tightly enough to hold itself together once the paper wrapper came off. It started falling apart pretty quickly and became messy to eat. As for the flavor, this is where I felt a little disappointed. Nothing tasted bad. In fact, everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The salmon was good quality, the shrimp tempura added crunch, and the sauces were balanced. Even with the poke sauce, spicy mayo, and eel sauce, though, it felt like something was missing. After the first couple bites, I found myself less excited about it. By the time I got halfway through, I wasn't really craving the second half anymore. I finished it because I spent $20 on it, not because I couldn't stop eating it. If you're wandering the promenade and looking for a quick meal, JA Burritos is worth considering. Just don't expect it to be the sushi burrito that changes your life.

The first day, my partner and I tried Wu Zhang Artisan Noodles for the hand pulled noodle soup. He got the Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup which was a comforting meal with wide chewy hand-pulled noodles with tender braised beef shank, fresh bok choy, green onions and some chili oil. They give you chili oil on the side so you can add more if you want as well. A great meal if you want a comforting bowl of soup. We also went to Han's Fish and Chips which is known for their crispy fish fillets and fries. I ordered the Cod Fish and Chips with is the classic flaky Atlantic cod fillet that is dipped in a crispy golden batter. They give you 3 large pieces of fish and it is ever so flaky, they they top it off with a hearty bed of hot, seasoned fries. This was worth the price since I was quite full afterwards. Love that they give you tartar sauce and vinegar on the side too. Very authentically British! Another day, we ventured to Streetbird which is an award winning spot that serves Nashville-style hot chicken and comfort food. We got the Chicken Tenders and the Chicken Wings. The chicken tenders were topped with the Brown Sugar Babe which is a sticky, molasses-forward barbecue sauce. This made it heavily sweet and smoky at the same time. They were quite crispy and they give you a heap load of fries. For the Chicken Wings, we got a dozen of them and got their signature rub that has a deep savory, smoky and aromatic flavor. I love how big the chicken wings were. I was quite full afterwards. I love that it is like a food court and that you can just order from the monitors from any of the spots, then pickup your order. It's outside on the corner of the streets if you're looking for it. We ordered the lobster flight. This came with 3 small lobster rolls in different flavors: original, truffle and hot honey. My favorite was the hot honey. I like the sweetness of the lobster and the honey together with just a tiny kick to it. They were all good though. The man who helped us was friendly and prompt. We ordered and he told us he would bring out the food once ready. So we found a table nearby. It was maybe a 10 minute wait, so not super long. He brought out our food and we enjoyed every bite. But the kids are in (College) schools out of state. So I wasn't gonna wait till the holidays, when they come back home. When they do come back, I'm bringing them here. What's cool is Flavor Fusion takes Cash and Venmo. I rarely keep cash on me. So love when trucks have a chip reader or Venmo. Now I just started using Venmo and John was cool enough to walk me through it. That was pretty awesome and awesome customer service. This was the second time using that app. So my Venmo purchase was around $11 bucks for everything. Flavor Fusion also sells Fruit Teas and Smoothies along with the Milk teas. For items, that I know of. Flavor Fusion offers. Shrimp tacos ,potstickers shrimp egg rolls. I wanted to try out the shrimp egg rolls. They was pretty cool, straight fire in my opinion.
