Sadly, Lucky Garden is a pale imitation of what is was many years ago. It was never high cuisine, but now it's a lost cause.

I've tried many dishes here. The chicken fried rice is great and the price is right, but everything else is mediocre at best.

Prices are comparable (if not cheaper) than the supermarkets in Chinatown, which is a huge plus. They also have a hot bar where you can grab food by the pound. Most of the options are deep fried, so not the healthiest, but it hits the spot if you need something quick, definitely gives Panda Express vibes. On top of that, there's a small skincare section with decent prices and even some Jellycats tucked in (so cute!). Downstairs, there's a little boba shop. I tried their cheese grape drink, which was not too sweet and came with fun jelly toppings. Overall, I'm really happy to have Bestco nearby and will definitely be doing most of my grocery shopping here.

Health/beauty products and toys?! The second floor footprint is huge! They have organized the space and truly maximized all the square footage. The shelves are all fully stocked with products that have been meticulously placed. Rows upon rows of beverages, snacks, instant noodles, etc. You'll find a variety of mostly East Asian (Chinese, Korean, Japanese) and other multicultural foods. Who needs a $388 cuboid watermelon? Staff are eager to assist the best they can. The current grand opening promo is spend $100 and get a $10 voucher. If you were one of the first 100 people in the store today, you received a $20 voucher. Welcome to the neighbourhood! I've been telling everyone I know!

I'm so with Liz B. on this one - I will never buy seafood anywhere else. The store is a pretty decent size, very, very clean and does NOT smell like fish. The servers are so polite and helpful and I noticed all the patrons were civilized; there was no pushing, shoving or yelling; everyone just politely waited their turn. They have another store in St. Lawrence Market which we've been to on numerous occasions but, being from Etobicoke and all the closures on the Gardiner, this is far more convenient. It's on Vansco, a side street that runs off North Queen but, for those of you who aren't too familiar with the area, you can catch it off the Queensway (very close to IKEA). I could see this being convenient for those of you in east Mississauga. You won't have trouble with parking as they have a private lot. I paid with debit but I'm sure they accept most major credit cards. They have frozen shrimp, scallops, lobster tails, etc. in all sizes. I also recall seeing cans of crabmeat and smoked salmon as well. As for the fresh fish, there was sea bass, grouper, catfish, swordfish, sole, tuna, etc. - lots to choose from. The tuna looked like it was sushi grade. They also had an array of fresh shell fish as well such as oysters, mussels, huge scallops and shrimp. For the pre-made food, some of the selections were stuffed sole, some awesome looking crab-stuffed calamari and I saw a stuffed salmon (very similar looking to what Costco sells). They also have specialty groceries on a separate side but I was on my lunch break so I didn't have too much time on my hands to browse. Anyway, I bought six calamari tubes with a whole bunch of tentacles for $10.25 and six large, fresh shrimp for $3.95 - great deal!

The staff are friendly and helpful, and the store has a bright, clean, and welcoming atmosphere. Prices can be a bit higher than regular grocery stores, but the quality and experience are worth it. Personally, my motivation to grab fresh stuff from Farm Boy is simple -- whenever I'm on the treadmill at the gym, I see Farm Boy right in front of me, and it makes me go every time I need something. Highly recommend for anyone who loves fresh, local, and well-curated food!

It is just one build west of Loblaws, another huge grocery store. It is open 08:00 to 22:00 everyday, although there was practically no one else in the store when I went there on a Tue at 09:10. There is nowhere to park except in their parking lot. However, you get up to 1 hour free parking if you spend a minimum of $15 pre-tax. You get a QR code on your receipt to scan after you scan your parking ticket. The store is bright and spacious with wide aisles. Prices are currently better than the  neighbouring Loblaws, but it may be just for the beginning weeks to gain customers. The staff are friendly. There are organic, vegan, and keto options. There is free WiFi. The store is wheelchair accessible; there are 2 elevators from their underground parking and access from the Downes St entrance. There is 1-hour validated parking in the parking lot (see details above). There are separate male/female washrooms. Review 2023-036
