It was actually pretty chill and laid back with almost no one at the bar and patio. This is located next to the Cubs statues. Go check those out whether you're a fan of the team or just baseball in general. Those who don't care about the loser team can still enjoy the offerings. It's about $8 a pint, which is a bit of a ripoff, but expected with the location. There's selections from local breweries such as Pollyanna. Also there's food. It's $8 for a big ass Pretzel. Came here before a 1pm Cubs game on a Wednesday. There was plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor, the staff is great, and there is a wide variety of beer for everyone. My boyfriend got the Cubbie Gummy beer and enjoyed it and I got the Mahalo and thought it was the coolest beer I've ever had. It tastes super tropical and I'd recommend it to everyone to at least try out, despite the shocking turquoise color. Prices are fair for the area, if not even cheaper than other bars. Love this place ... all staff are very customer-service focused from behind the bar to the front of the house gents who monitor game day and other crowds. In an earlier review that mentioned price points being high, the owner asserted they charged market value regarding other adjacent venues in Wrigleyville. But, guess what: last week, pints went from $8 to $10 (this was after the owner rebutted the previous reviewer I cited above). This prince jump mostly hurts the staff who depend on the tips that were probably more plentiful when the pints were at $8. A 25% increase seems just plain greedy. Sorry Management. They have several quality craft taps, and many that are brewed especially just for here and can't be found anywhere else. There's like 7? of those. And they also have shots, and some snacks. Many selections that you may or may not like however, so different from the usual taste around town; which is that all the crafts are starting to taste similar. You know the feeling when you go to a place and you try a few beer tastes and it's hard to decide because they all taste similar - not here! The owner told us that all the beers with the horseshoe symbol are unique to Dorr, personally hand selected and negotiated with the brewers. A very small and quaint bar right next to Wrigley Stadium. Since it wasn't a game night, the place only a had a few people there. A lot of different types of beers ranging from light ales to stouts.
