We used Lucky Devils for our wedding band, and cannot be happier we made that choice. They were absolutely wonderful. They were the focus-point of the reception, and were all exceptional musicians. They were able to work with us and our music taste, and performed exceptionally. They were reasonably priced, friendly, and overall just a great energy. Could not recommend them more! read more

We cannot recommend The Lucky Devils highly enough! They were truly one of the highlights of our wedding, and our guests are still talking about how incredible they were. We had their acoustic trio for cocktail hour and the full seven-piece band for our reception. They also provided the sound system, microphones, speakers, and lighting for our speeches and special dances. Most importantly, they read the room perfectly. Based on the music tastes we shared during planning, they kept the dance floor packed all night with guests of every age. They were incredibly versatile and talented. Tom, our liaison and band leader, was fantastic throughout the planning process. He was extremely responsive, knowledgeable about our venue and its intricacies, and very attentive to our requests for special dances and songs. Their planning portal also made it incredibly easy to share our likes, dislikes, and requests. They were also incredibly accommodating when the groom wanted to surprise the bride by performing a song himself, singing and playing guitar with the band backing him up. It ended up being one of the most memorable moments of the night! We also loved being able to attend their San Francisco showcase before booking them. It gave us a great opportunity to experience their talent and professionalism firsthand. Their pricing is also extremely reasonable for the Bay Area given the quality and services they provide. Our guests were absolutely blown away. One friend even told us that seeing The Lucky Devils at our wedding convinced him that he definitely wants a live band for his own wedding! From the planning process to the final song, The Lucky Devils made everything easy and delivered an incredible performance. We are so grateful to Tom and the entire band for making our wedding unforgettable! read more

We hired the Lucky Devils for our wedding, and they were fantastic! We chose to a "hybrid" model with a DJ and 2 musicians. Since my wife and I love ska we chose to have a trumpeter and trombonist. They were very detailed and organized when planning our event, clearly wanting our wedding event to go perfectly. Together along with our wedding planner, we were able to plan out the whole night to flow well and remove any stress from our big day. We and our guests absolutely loved our DJ (Justice) and brass players, they played fantastic music, walked amongst the crowd, all with an incredible professionalism that clearly shows many years of performance experience. They even handled all the MC'ing, dance lights, and PA system. As a bonus the trumpeter played steel drums, which was a very fun surprise! The Lucky Devils definitely made our wedding an epic night to remember, and highly recommend them! read more

They were all fantastic to work with. I would absolutely work with Lucky Devils Band again and recommend to future clients! read more

Lucky Devils Band - Musicians Near Me

We had Lucky Devils play at our wedding - both the band for the reception and their DJ for an after party. We had the best time, in large part due to them! The songs and the energy were amazing all night. Many guests mentioned how big of a highlight the band was. Thank you! read more

Lucky Devils was absolutely amazing!!!! They played our wedding and it was the highlight of the night. From start to finish, Lucky Devils Band was so easy to work with and professional. Everything from their website, to their planning and communications, to payment was super polished (which is hard to find with bands and vendors)! The day of the wedding, they showed up on time and set up the sound super quickly. The sound was spot on, which is also hard to do for a new setting. They played music seamlessly throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, then the dance portion. We gave them pretty open ended instructions on what kind of music to play, and they nailed it. And the musicians were SOOOOOOO talented. Highlight was the saxophone and Leah's singing- people were raving about it!! All in all, I would hire Lucky Devils Band again and again and they were amazing to work with. read more

Could not give higher praise for this band! They are so talented, versatile, easy to work with, communicative. They will make your event one to remember and get your guests out on the dance floor having a great time. My daughter and son in law hired Lucky Devils for their wedding and they were fantastic! We previewed them last year and were so impressed. They had a 3 piece ensemble at their cocktail time and then a 9 piece for the dancing period of their wedding reception. Lucky Devils kept it so entertaining and most of our guests on the dance floor all eve. read more

Couldn't have asked for a better gift to my husband for our wedding day. We both had a dream of ours... for me it was flowers everywhere you can think of, for my husband it was a live band that can play all his favorites. Lucky Devils Band did not disappoint! They brought so much energy and life throughout our day with a beautiful serenade guitarist for guest to enter to, to a rock band to finish the night, they were completely diverse! Communicated with us throughout our wedding planning and when the day came it was magical. Would highly recommend and will definitely book them again in the future. read more

The Lucky Devils played at our wedding in Temecula at South Coast Winery. They did a superb job and sounded spectacular! So happy that we did not go with a DJ as the band (8 piece) made the event so much more special and intimate. We would highly recommend them, and they hit all the songs we asked for in our playlist - top notch and so special to have them as part of our event - top notch! read more

We hired Lucky Devils for our wedding and it was the best decision ever!! Live music was extremely important to us and after sampling other bands, Lucky Devils not only sounded the best, but came in at the best price! Kevin was phenomenal to work with. He really understood the vibe we were going for. The team was kind enough to play requested songs for both our grand entrance and first dance. Our guests loved the song selection and had a great time dancing the night away. We received nothing but positive feedback especially on the acoustic rap songs that were played while guests arrived. Highly recommend Lucky Devils. Do yourself a favor and also add in the two horns: sax and trumpet. The 8 piece band was just something else. Thank you LDB for making our day perfect! read more

This is the second time I have used the Lucky Devils Band for a company Holiday Party. This time, the six-piece band including the tenor sax player (well worth the additional money)at the Terrace Banquet Hall in Henderson. I absolutely love working with Aaron, Dana and the band - they are truly fantastic musicians, play a great selection of music with everyone up on the dancefloor, very flexible with making adjustments on the night and make the party extra special. FYI - they play at The Orleans Hotel & Casino every other month - make sure to check out their website for their dates!! read more

Booking the Lucky Devils was one of the best decisions we made. I HIGHLY recommend them for your big day. They were easy to work with up front and their performance during the wedding was an easy 10/10. It was one of the most talked about things from other guests, and my wife and I could not have been happier with their performance. All the songs we wanted were played and they "read the room" wonderfully on the order of the songs. It was a remarkable experience and I would recommend them to anyone. We had seen them at two other weddings from our friends and all three times have been amazing. I highly recommend using them! read more

We hired Lucky Devils for our wedding and we would highly recommend. The musicians are super talented, and they were able to accommodate our request for lower volume and more relaxed music earlier on in the night. The vibe was just as we had intended and our guests had a ton of fun. They got my 86-year-old grandfather on the dance floor and let our friends (who are also professional musicians) sit in for a few songs near the end of the night. They also set up sound for our ceremony and recordings for our first dance/parents dance which went well. Thank you Lucky Devils! read more

The lucky devils performed at our wedding and they were amazing. The booking process, song selection and option services was very smooth, Eric was a pleasure to work with. We were very happy with our selection :) the band was high energy and super fun, our guests had a blast! read more

The lucky devils were great on all fronts: organization/communication, day of logistics/technical setup and sound, and most importantly musical performance. Organization/communication: They have a quite polished web portal to assist in the planning process that guides you step by step to ensure that you are thinking of everything that needs to be handled the day of. If you simply follow the steps there, it will be very clear what you need to do Day of logistics/technical setup: One thing we were worried about with hiring a band is that the venue for the reception was so close to the venue for the ceremony, leading to a concern about setup noise during our ceremony. Not only did they pull this off without a hitch or sound, they also set up a jazz trio next to the ceremony for the cocktail hour and seamlessly transitioned 3 band members into the reception hall Musical performance: Everybody loved it. So groovy. We also were looking for a band that could pull off a variety of styles (for us we wanted salsa dancing but also more "traditional" wedding pop music). It all sounded great and they kept the crowd moving all night. read more

Lucky Devils made our wedding SO special!!!! Eric is an amazing DJ & musician and his team made our party an absolute blast. They are professional, super fun and so talented! I'd give them 10 stars and highly recommend them for your event! read more

As a wedding planner, I've worked with a lot of bands--and Lucky Devils Band truly stands out. They were professional, easy to work with, and brought such incredible energy to the reception. So organized and communicative. Best bang for your buck. Band was amazing. Overall experience perfect. Thank you Luck Devils Band!! read more

YOu can see in the manager's response that he continues to lie. I spoke with band members prior to the event who had no idea what the plan was. we had been practicing for months. In fact, in the last number they did, thankfully play live backup and THEN BEGAN PLAYING A TRACK IN THE MIDDLE OF IT! so we were essentially singing in round with a track. In his response the manager is calling my EXCELLENT event manager a liar. we had written and verbal instructions, had to exoplain and re explain. At one point i considered just losing the deposit and hiring someone else, I wish i had. Again, this is not a real band, the members don't even know each other. and thats why they cant handle special requests. they have no idea who will be in the band the night of. read more

They were amazing!! We found the Lucky Devils Band (LDB) on the Knot and went to one of their showcases at Neck of the Woods in the Inner Richmond. Shamilah Ivory was singing and she was amazing. The rest of the band too. We decided to book an 8-person band for our wedding day - with LDB, you can choose a band of various sizes for different price points. On our wedding day, there was a 3-piece jazz quartet & 3 hours of the 8-piece band. When the band started, everyone was up and dancing and the dance floor was full until the end of the night. Even my dad got up and danced! After the wedding, my guests all told me how much they loved the band and asked how I found them. They were such a hit and we are so happy that we crafted our wedding budget to include live music. Thank you, Shamilah & Kelyn, for an amazing performance! read more

Lucky Devils Band never disappoints. They are talented, fun, engaging and thorough. The experience from start to finish is a true joy. Highly recommend requesting Tom - he made this experience SO SMOOTH and we were completely reassured from booking all the way through to the wedding day! On the big day, the Lucky Devils blew us away with their amazing music and sound. For our ceremony, we were serenaded by a beautiful acoustic duo, setting the romantic tone perfectly. We hired Lucky Devils for our wedding in South Lake Tahoe and they could not have been more perfect. Everyone at our wedding commented on how much they loved the band. There is not a band in the world like Lucky Devils Band. When I got engaged, I knew that I wanted an exceptional live band to provide the entertainment at my wedding. Just like my family and all of my friends, I LOVE to dance, so music/entertainment was most important to me. We hired Lucky Devils Band without ever seeing them in person. I found them on Instagram and my husband and I made our decision based off of Lucky Devils Band's exceptional reviews; we knew that this was a gamble with arguably one of the most important aspects of our wedding. Our gamble paid off in spades! Kevin, the producer, was great and professional to work with. When our wedding planner reached out for a quote, Kevin responded quickly and provided all of the pertinent details. We booked the seven-piece band for our wedding reception and added ceremony and cocktail hour music as well as lighting upgrades. Kevin sent me a link to the event portal for our wedding, which made the planning process extremely easy. We did everything directly from the portal including making payments, providing event details/timeline and providing an inspo list of music. By the way, right after we booked Lucky Devils Band, I told my parents and they requested a demo pack so that they could listen to Lucky Devils Band and for the next 6 months, all they talked about was how much they love listening to the demo pack and how excited they were! Fast forward to our wedding day: Lucky Devils Band elevated our wedding from great to EPIC! They are the greatest band I've seen in my entire life, and we had guests coming up to us all night long saying the exact same thing. In fact, people are still raving about the music! Before our wedding day, I provided a very extensive song list of songs from all genres as inspo for the band (we also provided Lucky Devils Band with a 'do not play list'). The band played the most perfect mix of music and captured the vibe perfectly; every single person at our wedding danced all night - even the guests who don't normally like to dance! Lucky Devils Band was THAT good. The singers were phenomenal - they engaged with guests and the energy was just completely insane. I cannot recommend Lucky Devils Band enough.. they are our most favorite part of our wedding! I attached 2 dancing photos by my very talented and incredible photographer, Kellie Jane at https://kelliejanecreative.com/ If you want a big live band to make your wedding or event one that people will rave about for years to come, go with Lucky Devils Band! read more

Lucky Devils was INCREDIBLE - my husband and I booked the six-piece band + three horns for our wedding and they brought the house down. We had countless guests tell us how fun and awesome the band was; the band leader even told us after the reception was over that they gave out tons of business cards - that's how much our guests loved them. They played the perfect mix of music, the singers were unreal, they were engaging with the guests, the MC service was spot on - they were truly perfect. 1000/10 recommend! read more

Shoutout to the amazing Lucky Devils Band for our wedding! Spencer (MC/band leader) Amber (singer) Mauricio (Bass) Mike (Drums) Curtis (Sax) Blake (Guitar) Sam (Keys) Brian (keys for the ceremony) We went with Lucky Devils for our wedding, and they went above and beyond our expectations! I don't even know where to begin except by saying this was probably one of if not the best decision we made with our vendor selection. They truly specialized the music to our taste and made our dream recommendations come true. We'll probably never see the Spice Girls, but getting to hear it live with a band, and sing along was probably one of the highlights of the night. Also hearing footsteps in the dark/today was a good day during the reception, my heart was soaring. They kept our guests energized, on the dancefloor, and singing along! We literally had people telling us throughout the night and the days following our wedding how good the band was! Thank you to the band, and Adam for helping coordinate and take in all our requests! If you're debating on a band, go with Lucky Devils, you won't regret it! read more

FIVE STARS. Where do I even begin with how much of a slam-dunk booking this band was!? When I got engaged I didn't know much about what I wanted my wedding to look like, but the one thing I did know was I wanted an awesome live band. I did a bunch of research (and went to one of their live shows in San Diego) and Lucky Devils Band was actually the first vendor I officially booked - and we went with the 9-piece. On our first call Kevin our producer actually helped us choose our wedding venue, which was another slam-dunk early decision. I didn't even know they had an events space and Kevin shared they had played at 148 San Diego shows in 2022 and it was his favorite venue by far (and the restaurant side was also where my husband and I had our second date! Easy, decision made). When you're choosing your vendors (especially those that you know will be a higher priced line-item), you want to go with people you can trust, and I trusted LDB completely. With a live band you don't provide a set list, you review the vibe and songs you definitely do or (arguably more important) definitely don't want played. On our prep call, we were going through our planning sheet and Kevin made a couple song suggestions that have been really popular lately with our age group recently. Sure enough, when "All The Small Things" started playing the dance floor was packed. Followed up with "Mr. Brightside" I looked around the room and had a moment where I was so appreciative of how GOOD they were. They were able to accommodate a few other specific requests (I really wanted them to do "All My Life" by KC and JoJo during dinner, and on the dance floor later they helped my husband surprise me with the Top Gun serenade with all his fellow Navy officers in uniform). I actually didn't realize until after I booked them that two of my friends (whose weddings I attended in San Francisco and Big Sur and were also at my wedding) also had LDB perform for theirs. Of course they did, those weddings were so fun. One note: if your venue doesn't have a stage (ours didn't but it wasn't a deal breaker bc it was solvable) - RENT ONE. They aren't cheap but it elevates the entire experience and makes it feel way more like a party / show. read more
