Ended up getting a basic cut ($35) by Drew, which the basic cut comes with a razor blade finish and a hot towel. Drew was very chill and respected my choice to just vibe. For someone who's been doing this before he was 20, it definitely shows in his work! The entire shop was a vibe and it's the perfect spot for anyone or any background or gender. First time going and I'm pretty sure it won't be my last! The prices are SLIGHTLY higher than most barbershops. About a $10.00 difference from most cuts. But the professionalism and quality of your haircut is definitely worth it. Cool spot that is associated with the Locker Room Vintage shop (besides dominoes pizza), which I had the chance to visit as well. I made an appointment through their website and found parking on the street next to their business. Upon entering the owner Scott was extremely welcoming and invited me to have a seat. I asked for a haircut and a shave and it was by far the most professional haircut experience I have experienced. Scott was polite, and explained everything before he did it. The salon is in the Ghent area of Norfolk and the artwork and jazz music playing really added to the experience. She literally gave me exactly the kind of cut I showed her pictures of that I wanted. I'd even go so far to say that the job she did on both my hair and eyebrows was PERFECT, and that I was more than pleased with her work. On top of that, the price was more than reasonable and I absolutely loved the decorum and artistic look and feel of the place. I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment; however, George was outside smoking and another barber had to retrieve him. While that was not an ideal start , my primary concern was hygiene. Durining the service, his hands had a STRONG SMELL of CIGARETTE SMOKE, and that lingered with me for the rest of the day. Given the close personal nature of barber service, this was UNPLEASANT an UNPROFESSIONAL. I wanted to bring this to you attention, as I assume this does mnot reflect the standaards you aim to uphold. I have been to the Greinbrier location 2 times before with no Issue. Bill
