We decided to throw them a surprise wedding and were expecting about 160 guests. The owner of portofinos was so willing to help and accommodate us in such short notice for a great price. He let us use chafing dishes and sternos, and even kindly added tons of delicious, homemade Greek deserts and extra food. His son delivered all of the food and helped set it up in the pouring rain for us(He also was a sweetheart). Besides the amazing customer service, the food was incredible. Every person we have talked to said the food was delicious. All homemade, fresh ingredients, we were very pleased. By then, I had already been waiting about an hour. When I arrived, I was told they hadn't even started cooking my food. The manager said it would be another 20 minutes and made a dismissive comment about possibly making my order sooner if they finished someone else's first. There was no apology, no accountability--just attitude. After waiting even longer, I finally got my food, only to have the owner try to blame me for going to the wrong location, even though I had contacted the correct one right away and was told the order wasn't there. He then claimed the Slice app "doesn't work properly" and that I should call instead. I later contacted Slice, and they told me the owner reported that I went to the wrong location and they couldn't accommodate me--which is not true. If the Slice app doesn't work, why use it at all? I briefly considered the unusual beans, onion & salami pie but wasn't brave enough this time. While they do offer combos, you can mix & match any toppings you choose. The thin, crispy crust was perfection. There were 6 in my party & we each ordered our own pizza & drink. They had no problem with separate checks. While it's definitely a dive bar atmosphere, they had a pretty awesome jukebox and a full bar. There is a separate section off the decent sized parking lot for take-out. The small dining room was full the entire time we were there, although there wasn't a wait to get in. I wish I had ordered another pie to bring home. You can get them half-baked to finish in your own oven. Looking forward to returning the next time I'm near Randolph.
