After struggling with our landlord for almost a week, we finally got a heating & air conditioning…read moreprofessional to come look at the swamp cooler. My landlord called Phillips Heating & Air Conditioning Llc first thing in the morning. Within an hour, they called me back, and set up an appointment (the lady on the phone was extremely friendly!). The heating and air conditioning employee arrived on time, and was very kind. He patiently worked on the defective swamp cooler. He called back an hour later to check on it. He came back to give us a definitive conclusion. We are extremely frustrated with our landlord, however, Phillips Heating & Air Conditioning gave us a professional opinion that will help us tremendously to get this swamp going. Thank you!

We called around and Phillips had the most reasonable price. The tech, Sam, came out and was extremely professional. Sam was happy to answer all of my questions and gave me advice on how to save money on my heating and cooling costs. A couple parts had to be replaced and the coil cleaned out. He was quick, efficient, informative and above all he wasn't pushy. He even made small talk with my children. I will be using Phillips again in the fall. Thanks Sam!

After 25 years at my current address, I finally made the decision to upgrade my cooling system from…read morea 50 year old swamp cooler to Central Air Conditioning. Best decision I have ever made. The second best decision was to call Fesmire HVAC for installation! I called 2 other companies from Pueblo for estimates. One never returned my message and the other said they would be here w/in the next week for a bid and never showed up or called to reschedule. Fesmire was my top pick from the beginning but, I wanted three bids. Louis Fesmire IV made an appt for the next day for an estimate and showed up early. We scheduled within the coming month and I now am having the most pleasant summer in Pueblo in 35 years! Louis and his team were here right on schedule and the installation was completed within five hours. House was build in 1929 so, as you could imagine, not a simple install. The team was more then cordial and did an excellent job. The cost was very reasonable and I couldn't be more satisfied. My HVAC service will only be Fesmires from now on.

He had already told me ahead of time $95 per hour and I knew for a job of this caliber and size an hour was ample time to the job, so I was prepared to pay $95.00. When I presented the table to him with the details of what I wanted done, he said it would take him 3 hours. Today I took it to a professional welder who responded to my post on the Nextdoor app. He did it in less than 55 minutes and charged me $65. It's appalling way of doing business. I do hope they are not getting government contracts.

I waited 3 weeks before calling them, and was told the person I needed to speak with was at lunch and would call me back. That call never came!!! 3 weeks later, I called again. The secretary told me the foreman was walking out to the shop to check on my project, and he would call me back immediately. That call never came either!!! Needless to say, 3 weeks later AGAIN, I called and was told I'd be called back. Wanna guess if they ever returned my call? NOPE!!! so again, like clockwork, I called 3 weeks later again, about 45 minutes before closing time, and got a recording. I left a nasty message letting them know I'd be leaving reviews so others don't have this same anguish they put me thru. I reccommend ANYONE ELSE.......even if you need to drive to COS or Denver. At least you might actually get your project completed.

The first electrician very clearly had no idea what he was doing. I wanted a fixture hung with…read morerequired entering my attic and an outdoor outlet that stopped working some time ago fixed First, no one called me to let me know they were coming which is just poor customer service from the start. Second the clueless electrician spent the first hour (their minimum billing time) wondering all over my home checking every outlet trying to find some mysterious GFI that just had to be the issue. Eventually he leaves (to pick up another electrician who knows what he is doing to some extent as well as a suitable ladder). The other electrician fixes the outlet and they poorly hang the fixture before being asked to leave after another hour as to not a waste anymore time or money. $160 for one hour of actual work. Never ever again will I do business with this company and recommend others not to as well.

We called One Hour Heating & A/C after having a bad experience with another local company. Tom Arguello is the service manager and was our technician. One Hour is now our go to service in the future.

I called One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning because my system stopped pushing air throughout my…read morehouse, and they were able to send a technician the same day. The technician showed up and determined the cause was a faulty blower motor and quoted me over $1000 for repair. I agreed and he came back the next day and replaced the motor. When we powered the unit back on to test, he said that he must have gotten a "bad" new motor. As an electrician, I suggested that he just jump power directly to the lead of the 120V motor, and when he did the motor turned on. He then determined that the control board was bad and called Ingles Supply. He had me pay for a new control board over the phone separate from the "company" (an additional $200 cost). While he had left to grab the new control board, I tested the original motor in the same manner to determine that there was nothing wrong with the original motor either. After returning he installed the exact same OEM control board and turned the system on to see if the blower would work. The blower turned on and he decided that he was going to "check" my AC system. He determined that I had an old R-22 system and it was low (reading 35 psi instead of 60 psi I was told). All the original tags were missing on the unit so how he determined the type of refrigerant used confused me. After running around with a leak detector, and being unsuccessful at finding a leak, he decided to add pressure to my system to find the leak by adding nitrogen to the system. He determined that the leak was coming from the evaporator coil (which he kept calling the "condenser"). He then informs me that I should not use my AC system and at least we got the furnace going. He then made an offer, outside of the company, to help me change the furnace if I bought one to do myself. A few days later the temperature dropped enough that I turned on the furnace to heat my home and discovered that no heat was coming out. After calling a few different companies to come and assess my system they determined that the new blower was spinning backwards, which was causing the high limit to trip making my furnace not heat, and that replacement of my previously working AC was my only option. Technicians with other companies assessing my system were baffled as to why the technician with One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning would put nitrogen in my system. While I know my system was older and probably needed replacement soon, the technician from One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning ensured that immediate replacement was my only option going into the summer months. We decided to go with another HVAC company for all our future needs.
