I stumble on a window, with the best jacket in the world. I enter. The jacket didn't fit, but the owner, Elise's warm personality and skilled eye did. She pushed me to try on things I would normally avoid. I walked out with a jacket, two seaters, some pants, a creative scarf that was unlike anything I'd seen, and even a pair of sunglasses whose accents complimented my nose piercings. It was definitely another time when Minks were so popular especially of that generation! My mom wore them during special occasions during the cold season and I remember it well as a boy! A friend of mine inspired me to make something out of it as he had upcycled a leather coat into pillows! So I brought them to a renowned Atelier boutique in Montreal called Harricana, who specializes in "UpCycling furs!" After 4 months they finally finished! 2 very different coats... Mink & Sable, were cleaned, recut, and redesigned to give it a new life as a new spectacular Mink throw! It's going to be a perfect Christmas now! Thank you Celine and Harricana!

I ordered the dress on a Thursday morning, paid for standard shipping and assumed it would arrive sometime next week since I live in Alberta. Imagine my shock when it arrived the NEXT DAY. Opened it up and everything was beautifully wrapped in ribbon with a beautiful note to boot. The dress is gorgeous - it will definitely need some hemming but I could not be more thrilled. I 100% will be buying from here again.

I asked if I could get a new one as she rolled her eyes and walked away to get a brand new one. again the prices are good, just don't have high expectation for customer service.

Now, I'm giving this company a 4 out of 5 stars because I've spoken to the Manager of the boutique and I'm quite satisfied with our discussion. I will place an order with them in the future and once I've done that I will further update this post to reflect my experience. ********************************************************************************** I really wanted to like this company. Their dresses look beautiful and I was truly very excited to get my new dress in the mail. I've read that they come in these beautiful boxes and that their clothes are really quite nice. So I don't comment on their clothes, because I didn't get mine. But I can comment on their costumer service. I had purchased a dress on Sunday (Easter Sunday) and by Tuesday I was sent a text message that my purchase had shipped (whoohoo!). On Wednesday I thought I'd check to see how far along it had come but the Canada Post # was incorrect (I put it into the Canada Post tracking field and it said that the # was wrong). So I spoke with Melanie about it and she said that they actually didn't have my dress anymore and that they had made a mistake. I was super disappointed because: A) They charged my credit card B) They sent me a faulty Canada Post tracking number C) And I had to contact them three days after my order to get this information (They say the dress will take 1-5 business days to get to your address). When I asked for a discount code on a future purchase (because I was still interested in trying the company out) they said no. I was a little confused because this was truly their mistake and as a new costumer, I thought they would be more sympathetic. Anyways, I've uploaded the entire conversation thread to this review. You can read it for yourself. Oh and at the end of the conversation, a new rep comes into the conversation, Miriam. She says that there is nothing we can do and actually they require 1-3 days to box the item and then it gets shipped out. Which doesn't make any sense because why was I sent a shipping # at all then?
