We had lots of hanging photos, posters and paintings on our walls, so he had to cover up a lot of defects to paint over it. He does not use cheap paint. He uses Sherman Williams, which might cost more, but it actually does look better. He spends his time wisely. He is methodical and does not waste any time. I used him to paint my mother's bathroom, and liked his work so much that I had him paint half the interior of the house! I recommend him highly. He pays per square foot so there's a science to his bid. His attention to detail in re-hanging and putting things back is highly professional, so much so that I decided not to put a lot of stuff back on the walls as the paint job was worth admiring as much as the wall hangings. I came up from Virginia for this as I was the payor of the services, which he also knew. Derek started cutting the trees as we (my son in law & I were home) expected, including limbs of good size. Then things changed and we saw a number of pieces going into the chipper (easy for them as all they had to do with that was shoot them into the woods). I went out a total of 4 times to ask him to NOT chip those bigger limbs as they were such great pieces of firewood and even asked if they could just cut to pile or leave in on the ground by the tree. His answer repeatedly?: "IF IT FITS IN THE CHIPPER IT GOES IN THE CHIPPER!" Let me reiterate I was paying him $13,000!! I cannot begin to tell you how infuriating he was and what a great disappointment due the amount of firewood we lost due to his lack of giving a damn what the customer wanted. We eventually selected Dover Roofing's very reasonable estimate to remove the old shingles and replace them with new GAF asphalt shingles. We could not be any more pleased with Dover Roofing and their entire team. From Ryan, who gave us a very detailed estimate, to Savannah, to the entire removal/installation unit (10 very conscientious people) and Tyler, the big boss! Everyone was the epitome of "old school service and job dedication" and strived to see the work was done right. Also, (and very important) Dover Roofing did not find any problems that "had to be fixed" at an additional cost like so many other roofing companies do. Dover Roofing's prices are very reasonable. Given their excellent service, they are a true bargain. Thanks again to EVERYONE at DOVER ROOFING. ps. Banged out my roof and detached garage in one day! Think it was 9 or 10 people getting the job done! Funny, friendly staff, but work their Asses off! My roof was long over due.
