I am finally writing this because I don't have the energy to have them back another time (5th time maybe?) but want folks to be warned how much emotional energy it has taken, and ultimately I had to pay someone else to fix their issues. I keep discovering more issues daily as well. I called Certapro because I was trying to get some painting done before we moved into a new house and thus I needed it done ASAP. The price was very high, but needed it done ASAP and so sucked it up. They sent a crew, maybe 5-6 guys? It was Friday, and few of them worked, most hung out drinking. Fine, whatever, I needed the work done and it is what it is. Figured I hired professionals, they'd get it done. The work is TERRIBLE, and I keep discovering more issues. Among the issues: 1. They didn't prime some previously stained/poly'd wood, and now the wood color is bleeding through the paint. 2. They didn't fill nail holes, told me caulk wasn't used on the sides of trim when I directly asked (a flat out lie), didn't fix drywall damage as I had discussed with the estimator. 3. The original crew kept leaving saying they were done, and I kept having to call them/text them to come back because they hadn't patched things, they had only done one coat instead of two, there was original color peeking through still, etc. The original crew came back I think 4x over the course of 3-4 days before I gave up and asked the main office to bring someone else in. That's when they sent Satya, who was the only wonderful and talented one of this bunch. She did a great job fixing patching near my windows, when the original guys told me they couldn't patch it well because my windows were leaking (wth, nope they weren't, which Satya confirmed). In reality? They didn't want to come back the next day to properly wait for the spackle to dry correctly). 4. Now that I have had some other trim installed and painted, I realized the color I asked them for is not the color they painted. What they painted matches NONE of the other trim/walls in my house, and now I need to get it redone so it all matches. I spent hours selecting the right white tone for my entire house, and now the two rooms they painted (including one with high ceilings) don't match the rest, and my new trim I just had installed doesn't match. In short, would hire Satya in a heartbeat, but the rest of this team was just horrible.
