However, in 2018 I noticed a dip in the floor around the refrigerator. I made calls to companies who had originally done the foundation and insulation work, with no response. I reached out to several other contractors that worked in my area. They either did not show up or told me to just keep an eye on the problem. Then I got in touch with J&M Remodeling. One of the owners, Jeff Braswell, came to review the issues. Jeff was very professional from the start. After a thorough assessment he had some not so good news. The prior work that was done was only to cover up rotten foundation beams. Insulation was sprayed over rotten beams. I had paid to just have problems covered up not repaired. It was an expensive lesson, but I feel so fortunate to have found Jeff and his team do the repairs. The floor and foundation had to be replaced. Once they started, they found several other issues that he suggested we take care of before they would become a problem, which I agreed. Walls and studs needed to be replaced. Their knowledge, professionalism and craftsmanship amazed me. But it was more than that, that impressed me. They all went out of their way and added special touches to put this project over the top. They moved light switches to more convenient heights, they painted areas of the house they didn't even work in to make sure everything matched and blended in. Everything was seamless. My house was cleaner after they finished that it ever was before the remodel. As a senior citizen, I need people and companies I can rely upon. I feel as if that is what I found in J&M Remodeling. We worked primarily with Kevin Voss and Bryant Post and both were great guys. (I did meet several of their other workers as well who were equally great). We were remodeling our house from out of town and we all know how challenging things can be at the Lake of the Ozarks. From the first day when Kevin showed up 5 minutes early with 7 or 8 contractors in tow on a Saturday morning, we pretty knew we had to go with him. He did not disappoint... every email or text was answered in a timely fashion, every detail attended to. We even came in just slightly under budget; as Kevin helped us shop around looking for the best options for our ideas (even with adding a few things).I really cannot put into words the peace of mind we had knowing the Kevin and Briant were there to over see the details when we couldn't be. I have known Bryan since he was a kid and worked for him when he and his Dad were contractors. I…read moresaw material delivered to one investor they worked for and the next morning the whole truckload of lumber was gone. I can only guess that material went to a job that they were building for another customer. I talked to the lumber company truck driver and he said the lumber company put a stop to delivering to any job that wasn't on the invoice. They even had the nerve to ask me to bill the investor for the work I did on another job for them if I wanted to get paid. I ended up filing a suit against them. When we were in court, their answer to the judge was "I don't know why we haven't paid me". Of course I got a judgement against them and the home owner. You could tell they were shaking in their boots because they were afraid I would spill the beans on them in court ( Not my circus, not my monkeys!). I see on case net that Bryan is charged with felony theif in excess of $750.00 and now there is a warrant for his arrest for failure to appear with no bond was issued because they consider him a flight risk 05/04/2022. Looks like he is going to get his punishment.

Money was given 4/3, by 4/26 we demanded the product or a refund that was put off for days when then she refused a full refund saying there were restocking fees? There was never any product so don't know how there are restocking fees, as of 5/16 there still is no refund and she has now quit responding all together. There is more to this story including police if you have?'s we are happy to fill you in. Do not trust this business- also beware her husband also is running another tile and flooring store nearby.
