Four days after that, he finally stopped by for an in-person meeting. Two days after that, I finally got a quote that was WAY outside of our budget for the desired project. Not cool by me at all. The next day, James contacted me and asked what our budget was for the project. I told him what our numbers were and it was HIM that offered up the cash price that he do the project for. We agreed and established Monday, June 9th as the project day. Monday morning arrives and by 9:00am, there's no NW Yard Services crew at the house yet. A text message was sent to James asking if there had been a schedule change or something that we weren't made aware of. Also, since it was pretty logical to assume that an early start would be used due to the temperatures anticipated in the high 80s - I rather expected some sort of response and/or simple explanation. But when 3:00pm rolled around without ANY response - not a phone call, not a text message, not an email, not even a thanks-but-no-thanks ... it was obvious that we'd been ghosted big time!
