He realized my urgency and accommodated me on short notice. His team washed windows, clean carpets, and my whole house. His prices are very reasonable, in my opinion. And they left the house spotless! Vents, baseboards, ceiling fans, doors, on and on...they cleaned it all. I did check in on the maids occasionally and found a couple of things I asked them to be sure and do, they were very receptive to feedback and did them right away. Absolute bogus handyman with poor time management and reliability issues. Initially, I had an okay…read moreexperience with Steve and his quotes were reasonable. He was able to complete a decent amount of work and had expertise in a variety of areas. However, what started as occasional late arrivals and poor communication quickly escalated into extremely poor time management. Steve could barely arrive on the day he said he would and would often reschedule last minute or show up hours late, which is unacceptable. It became clear he was trying to juggle and maximize the number of jobs he had at once, which significantly impacted reliability. The last straw was when Steve gave me a good price on installing LVP flooring in a condo I own. He requested a $1,500 deposit for the job. While attempting to demolish the existing tile, he claimed there was "black mold" under the flooring. I asked him to have it tested, but he did not facilitate that. He then expressed discomfort finishing the job, so I requested my money back. He refused and kept the deposit for work that was not completed, arguing that his "consultation" (phone calls about the job) counted as labor performed. I later hired another contractor to inspect the flooring, and they found no mold issues and completed the installation without any problems. I would have been willing to compromise and allow a reasonable deduction for trip charges or time spent, and I do not mind that he chose not to complete the job. However, I do not tolerate a handyman keeping an entire deposit for work that was not performed.

I hired Travis who is the Bambam Handyman to do some work on a rental home. He was easy to…read morecommunicate with which was nice. The initial job was to install new bathroom faucets and conduct some drywall repairs with texture to match. The texture matched better than I could have done, but still was slightly noticeable that it was repaired. He did the jobs as required, but said he did not have any cleaning products so the new faucets were installed over the old calcium mildew gunk. He said he scrapped one that was bad, but did not clean them. To me that is just the normal thing to do is clean off the surface you will be installing a new product on, but I digress as I never requested that specifically to be completed. Travis was then hired for a second job involving sanding, painting, and hanging four interior doors with hinges and hardware & installing and painting a baseboard piece and two corners. First he charged per hour rather than a flat rate. So keep this in mind as if he runs into any delays etc you are writing a blank check. If you use him, be sure to get a firm preferably flat rate quote so you know your out of pocket cost. I had to leave while he was still finishing the last job. I was unable to inspect prior to him leaving. Needless to say i went back later and inspected. I found their to be a few issues that he did not remember to do or did incorrectly. The side of the garage/kitchen door had to be sanded and he said he would paint it, but never did. The baseboard and two corner pieces were installed, but they were left halfway completed. There was no caulk or additional paint added. They were left with big gaps. The interior door handles on a couple doors were installed upside down. Just another oversight on his behalf. He offered to come fix the issues aforementioned, but since this is not his main job and is only a side gig, his schedule is pretty much only open on weekends. When he offered to come by and fix the issues, he ended up not calling to advise he wouldn't make it, but rather sent an email apologizing that he was not going to make it. So all in all he is a nice guy who can do jobs, but I would get specific with everything you want completed in writing for an exact cost ahead of time. Then make sure you are there to inspect and approve of the finished job. Then if any issues are identified, have them fixed immediately as his schedule can be difficult to work with. Average work = 2.5 STAR Rating

Our headboard arrived while he were here and he also made the time to put it on our bed for us without hesitation. He is going to be our go to handyman for everything! Couldn't meet a nice guy! I would recommend Travis to anyone. I have already given his phone number to my parents who need some things done around their house. A year later and Travis answered our call again!
