I was worried about the surgery because this could affect my gait. I made the call and received an appointment with Dr. Michael Reuter. I hit the jackpot! From that appointment until my release date, Dr. Reuter has been fabulous. Not only did he take excellent care of my foot but he also made sure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Maria was also amazing and very attentive. I needed 2 blood transfusions, 3 units of Iron and 2 of Magnesium. Originally she was supposed to be transferred to Rhode Island Hospital because that is where her doctors were, but there were no beds available.
