We are currently tenants in a rental home while our future home is being completed. The homeowner hired Agassiz to landscape the backyard of this home and it truly looks beautiful. However, that is where the story takes a sharp turn south! Part of Agassiz's service is to winterize the irrigation system and then in the spring, to turn the system back on, while making sure it is working properly. When they turned the system on, they clearly did not check to see that all was well and we found a small lake in the backyard. We contacted the property manager, who in turn contacted them. They sent someone out, who did NOT check the problem in the backyard but said they fixed things and charged the owner a substantial amount of money. However, the water in the back continued to pool and the entire area was like a swamp. I once again contacted the property manager, who again called them and they sent another person out who stated it was fine and was about to leave until I insisted he come into the backyard and look at the problem. I showed him the excessive amount of water that would not turn off and how mushy the entire area was. He FINALLY checked and found something was stuck in a valve and the water had been running non-stop day and night for weeks. You can guess what is coming next......a $509 water bill. The owner has reimbursed us for the excessive bill but Agassiz not only didn't admit they were in any way negligent but sent an horrific email to the property manager blaming her!!!!!!! She has another client who has the same problem at their residence and Agassiz was once again the culprit. So what did they do, they told her they would not service any homes that she represented. WTF! We had initially scheduled an appointment with Agassiz to provide us a plan and a quote to do the landscaping for our new home. Needless to say, we cancelled the appointment, retained another landscaper, and I shared my reasoning with Agassiz for choosing not to use their company. Though they make things look "PRETTY" when they initially do the landscaping, there is absolutely the worst follow up service and zero accountability for their neglect and lack of follow through. BEWARE! They think they are in the catbird seat right now due to the current state of affairs within the service industry but this too shall pass and the bridges they are burning will likely never be able to be rebuilt.

Junior listened to the challenges I had with multiple irrigation box repairs. He meticulously looked over the entire box system. Junior pays excellent attention to detail and is careful and precise. She gave us a design and bid for our backyard remodel. Other companies wanted to charge a ridiculous fee for a design. Sarah had one to me in a matter of days. The design and bid was reasonable and we went with the company. The crew came out when they said they would and worked hard each day to get the project done ahead of schedule. Each time there was a complication that came up the guys addressed it and solved the problem. Their bid came in below a lot of the others. They weren't the lowest bid but they showed a level of professionalism that made me comfortable and want to go with them. I already saw their work because they did a neighbor's backyard last year. So I know they do good work. At the end of the project they did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves and Sarah was available to answer any questions after the fact and they got paid. I would highly recommend them for design and execution. I would definitely use them again.

Nigel is the best!…read more He consulted us on installing a water harvesting system on our property. He is very knowledgeable and has a good crew that helps with installation. We ended up going for a 1750 gallon tank, with new extra large gutters with screens. He was able to hook it up with our existing irrigation system, so now our grass is watered with rain we harvested from the roof! We will also be watering our fruit trees and shrubs with this water. He took the time to explain our options, and worked with us on how to get the most bang for our buck. There were only a couple of small issues with the installation, which he was able to solve quickly. He was quick in responding to the issues. We love our "Big Bertha", and Flagstaff Native Plant and Seed.
