I made a warrant claim, as the couch was defective and falling apart. Despite them advertising that they would cover 100% of the cost when purchased, they only provided me with 70% of cost. I wasn't thrilled but it wasn't the end of the world. I then decided to purchase a love-seat recliner from a salesperson named Chris. Everything seemed pretty straightforward with the purchase at the time. I got a call a couple of weeks after purchase confirming that delivery would be on a specific date. Due to my work schedule, I had to book off the entire day in order to be home. I get a call after the purchase asking if I'd like to buy warranty on the couch, and I agree. I go back in to the store and meet with Chris, who helps me with the purchase of the warranty. Right as I purchase the warranty, he says he might have made a mistake on the delivery. I clarify what that means, and he says to not worry about it as he will fix it, and it's just a technical problem. I confirm with him that I should still expect delivery on the agreed upon date and he says yes. Fast forward to the day before the expected delivery, I receive a call from the Brick, asking what day I'd like to have delivery on. I told them that it was already confirmed for tomorrow, but they tell me that Chris cancelled the delivery date when I came in to purchase the warranty. I asked to speak with Chris who just continued to dodge my questions and told me I have to book a new date. I asked to speak with the manager, Steve, who was also unprofessional and just kept telling me that Chris told me previously that he changed the delivery date (which was incorrect). When I told him how frustrating it was that I took a day off work for nothing, he told me that I got the couch on sale so I should just be happy with what I'm getting. Not only was it beyond frustrating to have my delivery date moved for no reason, and not being told about it until the day before, I was also extremely disappointed with how Chris and Steve dealt with it. I've shopped at the Brick on Kenaston and bought about four different types of furniture from them. Every purchase from the Brick on Kenaston was seamless, and the staff were super easy to deal with, however this is my first interaction with the Brick on Regent, and I am beyond frustrated. I will never come back here again, and will continue to never recommend anyone to shop here.

That was a mistake; we should have read the reviews first. The technician opened the machine and pressed several buttons on the control panel. He then stated that the main water inlet valve needed replacing. After tapping away on his phone, he said the repair would cost $560. The machine was full of wet laundry. We hesitated but authorized the repair. He said the part would take four days to arrive and he would contact us then--but by that time, the laundry in the drum would have gone moldy. I don't know how he arrived at that assessment, but it was definitely wrong. After some online research, I found a tip on the Electrolux website suggesting a factory reset first. This is done as follows: Reset via control panel & buttons / Turn off washing machine: the unit must be turned off and the door left open. The technician couldn't perform this reset because he didn't know how to manually unlock the door. As previously mentioned: "...and the door left open." I had asked your technician twice if he could open the door. He replied that there was no emergency release and that it would only be possible after he had replaced the valve unit. I also found a solution online: the door can be unlocked from the inside. Once the door was unlocked, I was able to perform the factory reset. The washing machine is working perfectly now; we have since washed six loads of laundry without any issues. Your technician made an incorrect diagnosis and ordered a replacement part that was never needed. ExpressRepair has already charged my account $270 for the part. I informed the company that I was no longer bound by the repair order due to their faulty work. I asked them to bill me only for their actual costs--excluding the unnecessary spare part--and to refund the difference. The company is not responding and is holding onto the $270. We consider this fraud! This company cannot be recommended!
