I cannot even begin to explain how poor of an experience I had here. I asked THREE different employees for help and none of them were of service. I asked one lady where sandpaper was and she didn't know, which is okay, but instead of offering to help me find it she walked away and left me alone. I'm back and I've been robbed by Lowe's once again! These huge corporations are so corrupt with their pricing. I just ran over there to grab some trimmer string, for three spools it was $28 bucks and change I thought, well that must be what it's going for so I grabbed it and then I saw the mower drive wheels I needed so I grabbed those which were $28 each! I was in a hurry and paid and got to my appointment, then I thought, man, those prices seem expensive let's checkout Amazon and see what they want for those products? Instead of the trimmer line being $10 bucks each, they were $1.50 each, the drive wheels for my mower were $28 bucks for two wheels instead of $28 bucks each I grabbed my receipt and back to Lowe's I went and returned them! The checkout girl said well we have price matching. I told her if Lowe's can't give me an honest price the first time I don't want them. I've been burned too many times by these big heartless corporations that steal money from working people to make some billionaires richer! Never again I hope Lowe's and all these other corporations rot in..... service sucks selection sucks and value well I think I've already expressed my feelings on that! 1000% markup? I had a friend used to work at this Lowe's. Told me to never work for Lowe's at any location if you work the graveyard shift. Lowe's has a policy to NOT let you leave during lunch for example at 1 AM if your lunch is at that time. He had an hour lunch. Ask his immediate boss and his boss's boss all said no unless it's an "emergency". Very strict with taking your break and lunch at the scheduled time too. We went to Lowe's, I needed to use the restroom. As I'm entering I walked in past a sign that says be careful the floors might be slick. So I kind of look around to see if somebody's cleaning before I go in a stall. I see a pair of men's shoes under the stall and he was just going to let me go in and use the restroom while he's in there too. He quietly stood in his stall but I said out loud is someone in here cleaning. And then the man said yes. Otherwise he wasn't going to say anything. I told two employees about it and how the women's bathroom should be blocked off when a man is in there cleaning, they should not let people use a restroom while some Man creeper is in there the people I told just said ok and ignored me the second one said he's not in there, just as the man cleaner walked out. It was also hard to find anybody that help or knew where stuff was. read more

We ordered a washer and dryer on the 5, by the 6th they wanted to only deliver the washer. We said no. The next day, they wanted to deliver the washer and the the dryer on the 15TH!!! I found that to un called for. They called back AGAIN and asked to have it delivered on the the 11th. When they got there they said that they didn't have all the part. We had to hook up the dryer ourself and when we called back, apparently you have to order the parts that should come with it, for an extra fee. Then when they were done, the washer was wobbling back and forth. Make sure you pay for EVERYTHING you'll need for a washer and dryer because it no longer includes it. Mike in delivery can't run a store without changing a diaper. The name of the program is progressive leasing. NOBOBY, can answer a number there, AND NOBODY can answer any questions there. read more

It really doesn't matter what Lowe's I go to, I always find their stuff to be -over priced & on the shelves with the wrong price. -Their staff has no idea what Im every talking about in any department. - there is absolutely no flow to how their store is organized. - I've gone here at times when there was no other home improvement store around and I'm just disappointed every time. read more

He provided me great recommendations and advice for the installation of my washer/dryer, and water softener. I was so impressed with this young man's customer service skills ! Perfect place to find Dewalt tools. I did the buy one get one deal they had for Christmas and now I own a ron of the latest Dewalt brushless XR tools. The staff pulls their masks down when talking to you. We have had a nightmare of a time ordering flooring from them. Their flooring department has awful product knowledge, can't give a straight answer on anything which isn't reassuring. I have been in over 10 times just to get my flooring because they are so unorganized, call me to say the product is in when it isn't. They messed up the contract for our flooring installation so I had to return for that. Go to Home Depot, this isn't worth the hassle. read more

I love this location and I love this store. Being a property manager we are making frequent trips to this Lowe's location. I can say I have never had a better experience at any other Lowe's that I have been to. The staff here is exception. They are so friendly, eager to help answer any of my questions... and some even confuse me lol. The store is very clean and organized I love that. I hate going to stores where things are in the wrong places because people are too lazy to put things back that they don't want. This store is on top of that for sure. The employees that work in the paint department are so awesome! They seriously love to help with any projects that you are doing when it comes to needing paint. This place is a nightmare, do not go here if you want to get in and get out, or if you have any questions. I have been in 3 times this week (going to Home Depot in Centerville from now on). The associates (if you can catch their attention) are not friendly or helpful. When I finally got help at the paint center, it took way longer than necessary to get the paint I needed. I explained what I was hoping to paint, and was debating between two shades and the associate just stared at me without saying a word. I just picked one and she walked away to get it filled. When I was checking out two associates were talking to each other about who was going on break. So, hubby and I went in this particular store to check on pricing for fences. What's surprising is that we could not find an available CSR to make inquiries to. Eventually, we found a CSR who pointed us to the right location, but once we got out to the fencing area, we got shuffled from one CSR to another. The end result was not having the type of fence we wanted. I'm patient and independent with finding things on my own, but if I need help and a CSR sounds unwilling to help, TRUST and BELIEVE, your store is gonna get an unfavorable review. read more

I shop here about once every 1-2 months. I've had a great experience each time. I used to drive out of my way to shop at their competitor in Denver, but this location is great. The staff is helpful and the prices seem competitive. West Bountiful, UT Lowes Save yourself a headache-go elsewhere!!! Completely unprofessional and slooooow! Placed order on phone and they said it would be ready for payment at customer service. Went to customer seevice and about 30-40 minutes later finally was able to leave. I have no idea what the problem was. However, it took at least five workers each doing stuff on the computer to try to complete our order for a new dishwasher. I looked at the name tags of the workers convinced I would call the manager the next day and report the inept and unprofessional manner in which we were treated and order was handled however the main guy handling our order had 'manager' written on his name tag. This is not the first time we've had to deal with this sort of chaos when purchasing an appliance. I cannot believe this manager had the audacity to joke around with the other employees, tell another employee to start some coffee in the break room for him, share candy -smarties to be exact- with another employee, turn his back to us and then talk about us and then converse and joke around with the other employees all while we were waiting. This seriously is the worst customer service I have ever seen at Lowe's location. I believe this manager's name was 'Paul'. We will definitely try Home Depot next time. read more

The Management at this location refuses to follow Lowe's price-match guarantee policy even if you follow it to a T. "For example, we price match items sold by Amazon.com but not by a third-party seller on Amazon.com." This is copied and pasted from Lowe's website. https://www.lowes.com/l/price-match-guarantee.html I followed all of their polices for price-matching, 1) It was the same exact item/model 2) It was sold and shipped by Amazon.com 3) I had proof of the price on my phone The manager still refused to price match even after I pulled up and read her their policy from their website. Horrible experience for sure. We needed help in the kitchen area as we are doing a full kitchen remodel. We needed help and the guy that came over to help us was from plumbing and basically told us he can't help us with anything we would have to come back during the day when the kitchen guy was there..we told him we worked days and as he was leaning way back on his chair and snapping his guy he gave us a look of I don't care! I asked the store manager would be able to help us and he said " he doesn't know anything" we left and Lowes will not be getting any of money and we are doing a full home remodel! I frequent this place due to location. It is an OK location if you can go in and get something your self (and, that is if it is in stock) and check yourself out. DO NOT HAVE THIS LOCATION deliver anything, you must pick up your self. Twice we have been burned by there schedule and lack of communication of delivery. Bountiful store is really good with getting people out before they actually close. I've had multiple times where it's 10-15 minutes until close and they are announcing over the intercom the store is closed and to hurry before last register shuts down. I've seen employees tell customers no picking out items after closing time. I've also had them tell me they have friends to meet at a bar or a party to make, that's why they're rushing everyone out. I avoid the store now if I have to and go to Home Depot in centerville because they enjoy their jobs. read more

I like Lowes! This location is very convenient to anyone living in South Davis County. They have a beautiful and well stocked garden center, a fine lighting selection, killer clearance deals and mostly friendly staff. The one thing that irks me is that many of the displays are incredibly dusty or downright dirty. Painfully apparent when we were recently shopping for a bathtub and the displays were artfully splattered with bird droppings. Bleh. Not only unsightly but unsanitary! read more

Worst customer service I have ever had. I purchased a Lawn mower from this Lowes, the sales guy told me the lawn mower would be delivered and ready to go. It came in pieces, not ready to go at all, took me the whole day getting it ready to mow my lawn. It came with a $250 rebate that I was told I had to submit online. I took the time to submit all the information online, waited for 3 months, and nothing. I call Lowes customer service, they tell me it never went through (even though I got a confirmation email), tell me I have to submit it through mail. That's where I'm at now, wasting more of my time trying to get my rebate. I imagine they make you jump through all these hoops so they can save $250 bucks, but I'm not giving up yet. I don't have anything against Home Depot.. I just like Lowe's better. The Bountiful Locations ALWAYS has someone helpful nearby. I get asked multiple times throughout my shopping trips there if I need assistance. Some might find this annoying but since this is not my area of expertise, I find them very helpful.
