My husband and I purchased a washer from Lowe's last week. They told us there would be a $50.00 pick-up fee for our old appliance. We paid the fee. When the third-party company Maersk (formerly known as DSI) came to install the washer, they told us the faucets would have to be changed first. After the plumber installed the new faucets, Maersk came back to install the washer. After the installation was completed, they neglected to take the other washer. I called back multiple times to ask when the washer would be picked up, but Lowe's dropped my call. We finally got in the car and went over to Lowe's last night. It took several minutes for management to get to the counter, and then we spent the rest of the time going back and forth with Maersk, a third-party call center out of London, arguing about why their people didn't pick up the old washer and when they would be coming to get it. I have never been treated with so much disrespect by someone, especially after they had already gotten our money! If I were you, I would seriously think twice about buying appliances from Lowe's or anyone who uses Maersk as a third-party delivery service. read more

I went to buy lumber this morning at Lowes the employee cut the lumber it was a total of 10 piece of 10 feet cut into the employee did not ask if i need help pushing it to the cashier after i struggle to push the cart to the cashier and paid her she did not offer any help to push or unload the cart to my truck and by the way I am a women i got to my truck and a customer in the parking lot help me load the lumber into my truck . I purchased a tub to be picked up. I received and email and a text message stating that my order was ready for a pickup. I went to picked my order a few hours later only to find out that my order wasn't pulled and waiting for me. It was still in stock and I had to wait 20 minutes for the to pull my order. During that time I got into a heated argument over the definition of "ready for pickup." The employee thinks it ment that the tub was in the store. I have ordered several times from Lowe's in Warrensburg. I always have problems with getting my stuff Delivered! I went and ordered a refrigerator on Thursday and was told delivery would be Saturday. I gave them my phone number and waited Saturday for that phone call that never came so I finally called to get a ETA, I was told that it would be 2 weeks! They did not tell me this when I ordered it! They told me 2 days! This is not the first time I have set waiting for them to deliver something and not show up! I ordered kitchen cabinets and they brought the wrong ones and broken ones! I set one day at my son's house several miles away from me the entire day and they never brought it it came a week later! I live in Clinton MO and unfortunately Lowe's is the only store around this area that doesn't charge over $200. For delivery! I am a old woman and my husband is past on, so I can't pick it up! If I was told that it would be several weeks before they could deliver it I would have picked a different one! Now they have my money and I have nothing! read more

Seems this lowes is getting worse by the day. Very young employees w/o any experience treat people like we are stupid.. when the customer gets upset and fights back ,, we are being called RUDE and THAT THEY WON'T NO LONGER TALK TO US.. specially a young lady named Destiny and a incompetent cashier named Alissa. They charged my account today without me being there and w/o my card being swiped.. then they asked my daughter some utterly stupid questions .. All they had to do is type in my tax exempt number and let my daughter swipe her card.. we live on the same farm.. duhh.. but no.. they charged MY account without me being there and without my card being even swiped.. OMG i was so pissed I wanted to scream. They where wanting signatures from my daughter and for her to sign the purchase that was not authorized.. My daughter has her own card.. why the hell did they charge my account which is a NO NO without my card..Those young kids have no sense of responsibility and they don't bother to call a manager to correct their mistake.. the lousy attitude tops it.. read more

Don't use the install crews for your microwaves. The guy always he excuses why he couldn't make it to our house and when he finally did the microwave was dented like he dropped it. After a few days of no contact, left him a message and he finally called back cursing and saying he's not gonna finish the job. Management just brushed the matter under the table. Called them a day before pick up saying I would like to pick it up at 8:00am and they took my information and dated they would have it ready for me at 8:00am. When I got there it was 8:16 and they did not have it ready. It took them 2 hours to get it ready. They did not have a lot of people in the store but they did have a lot of employees standing around doing nothing. Not a good place to put a order of lumber. read more

I bought a washer/dryer from Lowe's...it was supposed to be delivered within a few weeks (3-4) and ended up taking like 3 MONTHS!! When they installed them they said we didn't get a long enough dryer vent thingy. It was a 9' duct hose and it's the only one they sell! So I went back to Lowe's to tell them they didn't install the dryer because of said issue and they made a funny face saying it should be long enough but I ended up buying another and low and behold the one I had was plenty long and then some. I hired them to replace my windows and front door. I'm kinda in a crunch as I'm remodeling and have a timeframe, which I explained to them before hand and they said they should be able to work within that timeframe. They guy was scheduled to come take measurements the next day. I was excited as I didn't think it would happen so fast. 30 minutes before he was supposed to show up I get a call saying we needed to reschedule. I was heated But said ok when they said it would be a couple days. The guy shows up and does the measurements and it's been over a week now and I haven't heard anything from them and remodeling has been rescheduled twice already because they aren't doing there job!! I called the Install Sales office on Monday AM to replace a water heater. My review is the same as the other's I noticed on this page. I simply asked for same day service and the tech called and said yeah no problem, I can be out by 4 PM, which he did and the install was great. Nothing was ever mentioned to me about an additional fee. A water heater install is two water lines and 3 electrical connections (I beat myself up for not doing it myself). Irregardless I drove to the store, picked up the water heater myself and the tech showed up at my house, Pat was great, and spent 20 minutes there total. The install was $225 (too much really) and the EMERGENCY SERVICE FEE that I knew NOTHING about was $150. I called the store asking for a refund on that $150 as it was just nonsense or even a store credit or gift card and there was nothing that store to could do to help because we all know $150 would cause Lowes to go out of business. So $375 out of pocket just for the install that took 20 minutes. I'm in the wrong business. Anyway, never again will I call them for service. Make sure you know ahead of time any hidden charges and fees if you attempt to use them! read more

In January 2019 I went to Lowes in Warrensburg, MO to design and build a kitchen. Numerous things happen on this building journey. The company that delivered my cabinets, show me delivery, dropped one of my cabinets which had to be reordered, they also delivered a cabinet from another customer and left one of my cabinets with that customer. I delivered and picked up cabinets on that mistake because it was going to take the delivery company a week to reschedule. Numerous other things happened so I decided to talk with the manager, David Less. David listened actively and was taking notes to make sure everything I said was documented. He asked me what he could do for me to make this situation right? We discussed some options, he delivered for Lowes and made up for all the problems that occurred and our conversation was handled very professionally. David is a product that Lowes needs to package up and sell! He owned up and understood there were problems and wanted to fix them. He was kind and respectful during our interaction.
