This has always been my favorite store but over the past year the customer service has declined so bad I hate going. I waited 40 minutes for a small pick up and the guy that got it prior to finding out I was there for pick up walked by me so close he practically shoved me out of his way and then I watched him go to get my order and made a huge show of stopping and talking to everyone he saw and glancing back to ensure I was watching. I have to give the lady who works at the front self service counter she deserves 10 stars, I believe her name is Barbara, she has customer service skills in spades. She should be the store manager. So my wife buys a stove from Lowe's. The day she buys it the weather was bad and so she asked if she could pick it up on Sunday (today) when the weather was supposed to be better. She was told no problem, she could come back on Sunday to pick it up. So we show up to pick it up on Sunday and it's not there. Gone. They'll get more on Tuesday. So their word is worthless. If I were the manager, I'd have offered to deliver the stove...unfortunately I'm not...but we did get a "sorry." Thanks. Their customer service is worthless too.. If I could give it zero stars I would. Terrible service, I purchased a fridge from this location and was supposed to get it delivered yesterday but it was damaged so I returned it. I was told to call the store to ask them what time the new one was gonna be delivered and the phone was ringing for 5 minutes with no answer, and when they did answer they took more than 15 minutes to connect me to the right employee. Lowe's in Texarkana has gone from fair to bad to terrible, and I'm sorry to have to state such in a review. The one star is for the checkers, who have enthusiastically worked during COVID, and are always pleasant, friendly, and often responsible for checking out long lines of customers. It's as if new store hours and COVID has given Lowe's an excuse to slack in product inventory, customer service, and competent workers. Hardware items are out of place, only half of the bins for screws, nuts, bolts had any inventory. The ones that did often contained assorted, out of place items. I travelled thirty miles to purchase wood, and various minor hardware pieces for a small project. I left with half of the items on my list: They were either nowhere to be found, or the "kids" working the floor had no idea what I was talking about (certain sizes of lag screws and nuts). What really smacked me good was the fact that their saw was still out of service, as it has been for over two months! I needed an 8' piece of lumber cut in two, and they were unable to do it. So, if you are purchasing single lumber that needs cut to fit for the drive home, "bring your own saw (byos)! Multiple aisles were blocked with the yellow tape, because nearly every employee was sweeping the floor, stocking, or huddled in conversation. This made the already daunting task of locating what I needed impossible. Frustrated, I gave up and left. Very, very disappointed with Lowe's. My husband and I bought an expensive Oklahoma Joe's grill online. We had seen it in the local (Texarkana) store but because we have a small car, we couldn't transport it home, so we decided to purchase online and have it delivered. After waiting more than two weeks, we were told a trucking company would be bringing it to our home. When it arrived, the driver started bringing it up to the carport and the box was totally destroyed. Both ends were torn off and what was left of the grill was held into the remaining bits of cardboard with stretchwrap. We refused to accept it since it obviously was bent up and parts were missing. I immediately called Lowe's and after waiting several hours, I got a callback from them. I explained what had happened and told the man that I had sent the grill back via the truck delivery service that brought it. He told me I would have to wait until the grill gets shipped back to the Lowe's location that it came from before they would issue a refund. He also indicated that this would take 10 days or more!!! I am so dissatisfied with Lowe's customer service. I not only am out more than $600.00 , we also have no grill! I have sent emails to Lowe's that have gone unanswered, sure seems like that they really don't care about their customers! Bad, bad, bad. I think we will go elsewhere from now on! read more

The only reason I gave one star is to show how low I rate them! I started having laminate flooring installed by their installers, Service Pros, in September, 2020. After a few no shows for scheduled appts, my flooring was finally installed October 30, 2020, but was not completed because the right baseboards and moldings were not sent out. It has now been 4 weeks since and Lowes installation has not gotten my rooms completed yet! I bought some flooring from Lowe's and it was the worst experience I've ever had. The job was contracted out to Service Pro. They are the most unprofessional group of people I have ever met. Service Pro are liars and thieves. One of the worker took the remaining of my materials without my permission and when I confronted him about the materials, he lied and said he didn't have them. They left without completing several jobs at my home. Service Pro canceled several appointments at the last minute without rescheduling. The situation was so unbearable that I ended up canceling the contract after trying to work with them for 3 LONG months. Trying to get my refund was a total nightmare. They charged me $5.98 per plant instead of 3/$12. Not only do they need the sale signs up but the register needs to have the sale prices! I bought a dishwasher from Lowe's in Texarkana. It had been a display model or so they said. I was told it would come with all warranties and gaurantees. I get home open it up and it has 3 melted places in top...one if which goes all the way through and the melted plastic oozed onto the side of the dish washer. With the state mandating masks, Lowe's put up a small sign on their entrance door stating this but they are not doing anything to enforce it. I went to Lowe's to shop and had my mask on, however, there were more customers filling the isles with no masks and no regard to social distancing. We all need to do our part to protect each other! Bought a refrigerator, a dryer and a washer here almost 2 months ago, we have to wait for a washer because they don't have it in stock that We understand but the first time they delivered the refrigerator is dent! The delivery guy told me I can go get discounts at customers service he is very nice to noted that the fridge is dent on the paper I called my husband about the problem and we decided that we want a new fridge( for1,400$ fridge who would want a dent one? ) the customer service is nice to order new fridge for us,10 days later they scheduled to deliver new fridge but it also has a big dent so the delivery guy took it back. 10 days later again the third fridge they called my husband the fridge is here and it is also damage so they can't deliver and will order us a new one and here is the forth fridge they call my husband today the fridge and the washer is here but they are really busy to delivery. They are schedule for us on Thursday that is 6 days from now WTH!!! It took almost 2 months to get the fridge and a washer that they promised us it will only take 3 weeks!!!! No more going back there!!! Finally problem solved after I complained with the customer service and they delivered my washer and new fridge the next day!! read more

We paid for an appliance to be hauled off, Other applicance was delivered July 31, 2021 but Sharon manager from Lowes forgot to give delivery driver the ticket that said haul off, I took 20 minutes to get a hold of Sharon at Texarkana Lowes and she said tell them Miss Sharon said to take it. They didn't they put it on the porch and said we will be back tomorrow. Tomorrow Came and went and the refrigerator was still there so we called back again and a rude lady said well nobody is here to write a ticket so it won't be today, well... it is the 18th of August and I call on hold for 40 minutes still with Lowes corporate help, I use my other phone to call Texarkana Store get Miss Sharon and she first claims ignorance, then tells me well we are only in the area on Saturday, so after18 days of them NOT doing the job they were paid for she tells me she is still not doing it for 3 more days. This Lowe's is pretty darned good. My Mom and I have shopped here over the years and generally find exactly what we want. She was able to get the supplies for her light bathroom remodel and was very satisfied with them. I have bought several things there as I have been fixing up her house to sell and have been happy with the offerings they have and the service. We've been Lowe's customers for years. Their service has been pretty good overall. However, today, they did an excellent job! We had a dishwasher that we bought an extended warranty on. We live outside your typical service area and had waited about 6-7 weeks for a dishwasher repairperson to contact us and fix it. We never heard back and got the run around from Service Advantage, the warranty company. I called the manager of Lowe's and he agreed to replace the dishwasher at no cost to us. They would even have delivered it and took the old one away, but we went to pick it up and do it ourselves due to time constraints. I am impressed with the changes I am seeing at this particular Lowe's. Their customer service and service time is getting better and better. read more

The BEST customer service I have experienced in a really long time. My wife and I just left there from buying a grand worth of plumbing pipe, fittings and stuff. John back in plumbing quickly got all 320 ft of 4" then got down boxes of 4" fittings and told me to ask for contractor discount since I was buying cases of fittings. WOW! Then we were looking at simple lights and the guy that came there to help us was also knowledgeable and friendly. Lastly as we were checking out with 4 carts the young lady checking us out was also totally nice and even told me about a Veteran discount. The entire store was loaded with helpful people, friendly professional staff, well stocked and clean. I really wish all my shopping experiences were this great. I work really hard for my money and letting go of $1,000.00 on anything hurts but when I get great service and also value I am happy with my purchase. So I saved $50.80 on contractor bulk buying items and then a unexpected 10% Veteran/Military discount of $106.00 made me very happy. I will always do business here at this Lowe's for all my home needs. I highly recommend this store. read more

Charlie was a lifesaver!!. He was friendly and very concerned about us. My mom age 76 was having all kinds of trouble with her washer which was still under manufacture warranty. We had been going round and round for about 3 months with GE. The machine had been repaired three times but they refused to replace it. As soon as Charlie was made aware of the problem he worked out the issue and my mom had a new machine 2 days later!. Thank you Charlie and all the others at the Texarkana Lowe's for helping us with this very stressful problem. Your friendly attitude and exceptional customer service is greatly appreciated.
