My wife and I went into the Springville, NY store because we are planning a total renovation of our kitchen. There were two younger ladies in the department well aware we were looking for samples and they never approached us to offer help or answer questions. This location doesn't get enough credit. For the most part, employees want to work here and are passionate about what they do. This is not the case at many other locations. I've been to this location more than a few times and all of the interactions have been pleasant and very helpful, saving me time roaming the store. I'll continue to frequent this location. read more

I purchased flooring and installation from Lowes. Lowes does not do the installation. They hire a company known as Service Pro. The installation was great. Then when I went to clean the floor, I found there was glue residual in areas of the flooring. White glue footprints on my dark flooring. It was necessary to scrape excessive glue from the vinyl plank flooring they installed. The only way I could bring the flooring back to the original finish was on my hands and knees scrubbing the floor with a cleaner that removes glue. When I contacted Service Pro, they wanted to send someone out to clean it. I had already spent 3 hours cleaning as I had contacted them at 8 am and they said they would have someone get back to me. So 8 hours later I get a call saying they will send someone to clean it. Why would I want to have these unprofessional installers back in my house when they obviously thought they did a good job. I had another 2 hours of scrubbing the floor and scraping off the glue to go. I called Lowes to complain about the service and after being on the phone for 25 minutes, I received no assistance or compensation for having to clean the floor myself. When you pay over $4,000 for flooring and installation, you expect it to be installed professionally and cleaned professionally after the installation. I should have gone to a Mom and Pop store who takes pride in their work. read more

Had the worst customer experience at the Springville NY location! I will never shop here again! I consider myself a fairly patient person but Lowe's strained that! My wife and I went in shopping for blinds for our windows. I started off searching on my own until I needed some verticals trimmed. We found an associate nearby and they said they would call someone to assist us. We waited for approx 10 minutes and then found another associate who said he was heading back to appliances to relieve the person who would be helping us. After another 10-15minutes I went to the front counter to ask for assistance and was told they were short handed in appliances and the associate for the blinds would be along after finishing there. Ok, so I went back to the blind aisle and played on my phone for another 10-15 minutes when I heard an associate at the end of the aisle chatting with an off work associate. After they pointed another customer to their aisle needed they both turned and asked if I needed assistance and I said "sure if you're the ones cutting blinds". The associate said no but pointed me to the "assistance bell" mounted on the pole and that's when I had enough. I told her I've asked 4 times for assistance and couldn't believe that there was only 1 associate that could help me with the blinds! I started down the aisle towards the front desk carrying some other items and handed them to a customer service rep and said that I would take my business to Home Depot! I also said "I bet you don't care!" and she replied "nope I don't!" Wow!!!!! read more

Went for a store pickup order very very slow, was standing at the counter for a good 5 minutes or more as multiple employees walked around, walked by didn't do anything, alert anyone or otherwise. Hamburg location is much better they need to get their act together at this one, no wonders the Valu up the road can stay open, not everyone feels like waiting around with no service. read more

I have been to this store at least 5 times in the past month. Each time the employees are helpful and go above and beyond. If I need help finding something or loading this in to my car they are happy to help. The store itself is very well organized and clean. read more

Smallest lowes I've ever been to it staff was nice and they had what we needed. Not busy at all and quick in and out.

I bought carpet for my entire house. In a year it was buckled. I called to ask them to fix and they said no my contract ran out, They would come but will charge me even for service call. Now 2 years later my rug is separating where they put it together in the spare bedroom. It looks like they even cut it wrong. Very poor and I paid a lot of money. I would never recommend buying rugs from Lowes. read more

The only thing this company is good for is products you can walk in and buy and walk out with the same day. Don't ever recommend you ordering a door or window through this company. The process has been nothing but a nightmare and the employees at the store can CARE LESS that you have suffered! Also hard to get help around there, stood at the paint counter for 5 minutes and rang the bell for service while no one showed up I looked over to customer service and there were 5 employees standing around talking, I walked up and asked if I could PLEASE get some help and they finally sent not one of the employees who were socializing but another girl to help me. read more
