I want to give a shout out to Kim for helping me today! We placed an order of $600+ on September 30, with promised delivery of October 7. Well, the order didn't arrive (Lowe's did not inform me that it was going to be delayed), so we had to cancel the handyman that had put aside time for us that week. After consulting the Lowe's app to track my order, the only information I could find was "delayed." We both called the store AND spoke to an associate in person to try to get some idea of when our order would arrive. In both instances, all we received was "we don't know." Today, I spoke with Kim, and lickety-split, she found the order and gave us the projected delivery date. Hooray! She was courteous, quick, and seemed happy to help. I will never go back to Lowe's and buy appliances again. I got there extended warranty just because it was an appliance. I only had my refrigerator 1 1/3 years the ice maker would not work, lights and alarm going off and now it will not cool correctly. I finally got some one to help me and schedule a repair appt for Monday 12-4 and then I was text Friday night it was changed to 8-12. I took off work for that Monday, it got around 12 oclock I called the repair company Goodman Solutions the girl stated my appt was on the Tuesday. She confirmed my phone number and stated they had text to confirm appt with no response from me. I let her know that I did respond to their text every time but I did not get a response about them change to Tuesday. The girl then told me that I needed to be home for that appt for the appliance repair. I was upset because I had to take a whole day of work off. I went to lowes where I spoke with Jay and he told me it was not his problem. I left there and called the appliance repair number the guy stated the appt was Monday 8-12. I let him know I had called the appliance people and that it was for Tuesday. He then in return told me to be home on Tuesday so they can come fix the appliance that there was nothing he could do. I have always used Sears for my appliances with no problems but when I moved in my house I was told to go to Lowe's that they were really good and they have been up till now. read more

Our Lowe's here in Smyrna is just as great a location as any... I've always found the staff to be helpful and nice enough. At times, it can prove difficult flagging an employee down for assistance... but IMO, that's more or less the status quo of retailers with supermarket sized retail locations. My one point of contention is that I wish they had more SmartHome accessories (specifically for Apple HomeKit). read more

Great people, but very unreliable order fulfillment. Have ordered tile, lumber, custom cabinetry, and appliances, all of which failed to meet their promised delivery dates. $3700+ for a new washer and dryer, most recently. Was notified that the promised 4 week delivery (expected in 3 days) has now become 8 weeks. Very disappointing, if sadly consistent. read more

We made a purchase of Rodent Sheriff, which was on the clearance isle at the back of the store, sign above it listed the product name, original price ($9.99) and the clearance price of $4.97. It rang up the original price. The woman at the service desk dismissed us saying "customers leave things all over the store" I told her there were about 7 boxes left after we picked that one up. Again we were dismissed that it wasn't on clearance. Finally they asked an employee to go check it. The service desk clerk kept saying we were wrong, rubbing her hands through her hair saying there's nothing I do about it. Eventually, the call came that we were right. And received our refund. The problems were 1. It scanned wrong 2. Instead of saying she would get someone to check, we were told we were wrong . 3. The clerk kept complaining the entire time we waited. 4. Clerk never apologized for our wait or inconvenience. 5. The clerk had to have help doing the refund. I told the front end manager that in all my years of being front end manager at Walmart, I would have written up a service desk clerk for being so rude. read more

We are a business, a Lowe's American Express holding Pro. We are ALWAYS in Lowe's. Although they have some great associates, the Customer Service department needs some training in customer service. We returned part, still in original packaging that we purchased personally. We did not have a receipt. The return was only $8.43 and we asked for a store credit. The "lady" was SO RUDE. Told another associate, "We need to stop taking this stuff back", and loud enough for us to hear it. She never smiled and my husband was so friendly to her. She reluctantly gave him a store credit. He said, "Thank you so much. Have a great day." She literally turned around and said nothing. We were both so angry that we talked about cutting up our Pro Credit Card and walking out. I can not believe the rudest employee we have ever encountered at this store is in CUSTOMER SERVICE!! We were treated like thieves for $8.43 store credit. She needs to be put somewhere that she doesn't have to "deal" with customers or she could single handedly take this store way down hill. The dynamics between customers and employees have changed; unfortunately NOT for the better. With inflation out of control customers look for deals. I discovered a product in the shelf that had been returned and put back in inventory. There were several issues with it and the employee argued with me and followed me to customer service to add her opinion to management as to why I shouldn't be allowed to purchase it. At the end of all of the employee's arguing, I received a discount. Lowes in the past had a table of discounted/marked down items and highly recommend going back to this policy especially with soaring prices. read more

Do not buy any products from Lowe's that require installation. Lowe's handy services is now Angi's formerly Angi's list. I have been battling with Lowe's and Angi's. I had to get the better business Bureau involved to get Lowe's to do anything. This all started on August 14th 2023 and is still going as of today 9/15/23. It has been a nightmare from hell. Between Emails between Angi's and Lowe's basically I was forced to take a refund. You pay 405.00 to get a ceiling fan installed on 30 ft. 7 cancelations and 7 rescheduled dates nothing was ever done. Then finally somehow I was included in their corporate emails and when 8 people had 8 different stories I responded then a nasty email from a Victoria Baker stating I had been removed from emails this was an internal communication and they needed to remain united and strong, basically she didn't want me to know they were trying to cover uo their screw up. This isn't my first battle with Lowe's. I purchased a fence and the installation people quit in the middle of installation. I purchased backslash from them and they sent a guy out who couldn't speak English and the back splash looked like a roller coaster ride. Very poor appliance sales, service and delivery. Bought new fridge, was made to buy water line that I didn't need. Delivery was a day later than promised. Delivery guy "Josh" was in a very big hurry and didn't use water line. He wouldn't call to get me credit and said I had to take it back to Lowes o get credit. He would not give me copy of delivery ticket. Seen a couple of issues and asked him about it. He said they would fix it or hey would bring out a new one. After he left found a few more things (dents, rings, scratches and crisper drawers that didn't work). Went to Lowes that afternoon where Art the appliance manager said they would swap it out. Delivery was scheduled for today, and it didn't happen. Called and was told they had problems with deliveries, but it would be delivered tomorrow afternoon. Sales bad! Delivery bad! Manager bad! purchased my first water heater. there is no immediate customer service at this store. no worker said hello, how may i help you, etc. i walked around the store looking for assistance for about 30 minutes. i went to the cashier who explained the process to me for putting an item on hold for pick up. i finally found a worker. he was not in the dept i needed but he walked me over and handled as much as he could until the designated dept worker showed up. needless to say this home ownership thing is going to be a long ride. ive got to navigate some type of better relationship with these type of stores. read more

My wife and I were in the process of purchasing a range and microwave. The associate was assisting us with the purchase, we were placing the order and was about to pay for it until another customer arrived and he started assisting them. I wouldn't have mind except he left us standing for over 15 minutes. He called my cell almost an hour later and apologized and said he hoped we didn't leave because of a misunderstanding because he helped another customer. I informed him, that's exactly what it was. To think I chose them over another home improvement store, guess where I'll be shopping from now on?! Will NEVER return to ANY Lowe's store again!! read more

I would have given a negative rating if possible. I went to Lowe's to purchase carpet, after spending time picking out the carpet I wanted, I set up and paid for an estimate. I told the young man working the flooring dept. to make sure he kept the info because I did not want to try to pick out the carpet again, he assured me he would. After waiting 3 days and not hearing from them, I called Lowe's on Jan 19th and was advised they had no information on me or any carpet. I still had the receipt and the paper I was given to take to the front to pay for the estimate. I told them I had the receipt, I got it out of my purse and found out I had paid for someone else to get an estimate (I have this person's info name, address, phone #) when I advised the male I was speaking to this he didn't seem to care but he did admit that he remembered assisting me. I told him I would discuss with my husband and decide if we wanted to proceed with the carpet from them. I called back a little later and the person I had spoke to was gone and I explained what had happed to the other male who answered the phone, he advised me to hold and hung up on me. I called back and asked for a manager and spoke to Mary (who was the only person there that seemed to know how to do their job or care) she said it was their mistake and she would take care of it, she set the estimate up for the next day. I then got a call that I would need to come back and pick the carpet out again because they could not find any of my paper work. I went back after 6:00pm and picked out the carpet, put it on my Lowe's card so I could take advantage of the 18 month deferred interest. I was told they would have the carpet Feb 4 and they would install within a couple of day. They then called and stated the carpet was on back order and it would be Feb 20th before they got it in. We were ok with waiting, it was not an urgent matter. On Jan 25th I received a bill from Lowe's for merchandise I did not have and they did not have. I called and asked to speak to Mary but she was not working, I had to speak to another assistant manager, I told her that I was not willing to start paying for something that I did not have, she advised me not to make the payments and Lowe's would pay my late fee's. I advised her that if you are late with your payment the credit card company can remove your promotion and you will be responsible the all the interest. I also advised her I was not willing to ruin my credit by not making my payment. Since she had no solution that did not involve damage to my credit or my paying for something they could not provide, I advised her I would be coming in to get a refund for the estimate and also to have the charges removed from my credit card. When I went in to get my refund, she looked at my bill and said your payment is only $25.00 and you might get one more bill before we have the carpet, can't you just pay that. I told her you might get the back ordered carpet and you might not, I am not paying for a might. I called Lowe's customer service and was told someone would be calling me back, haven't received a call. But they are prompt on getting a bill to you, I went in on Jan 19 and received a bill on Jan 25 for merchandise I did not have. read more

I purchased a round shower in your smyrna store then they could not find it in stock so i agreed to let them order one with a 3 to 5 day wait. 8 business days have past still no shower. I contacted the store to find out the shower was on back order but 2 other stores had them in stock and i could drive several miles and pick it up there. I asked the store if they would have the shower delivered to there store so i could pick it up and get my family back on track bathing. Seems it is company policy not to do this even for a $4-5 hundred purchase. I work in retail and try hard to please the customer. keep them happy now and they will come back. The employee said the mgr they talked to (a lady) begain to get a attitude when they tried the second time. the employees I delt with tried but hit a brick wall with her. I like lowes and have been a customer for several years. I am not a big spender at LOWES but i get my windowes and all my household supplies at this store.
