I'd leave a -5 if I could. I just moved to Pueblo a few months back and have been using Lowe's for more than 40 years. I'm handicapped and need a motorized scooter to do my shopping. They have 2. I don't think I have seen a store with just 2. I'm constantly having to go to Home Depot because their scooters are in use. Well duh you only have two. Was told that they are being stollen. Please. No one else seems to be having this problem. Just a lie to cover the fact that they just do t want us handicapped people in their store. Ok. I'll go elsewhere. Here is a picture of their cart staging are also. Just looks like the manager just does. It have a hold of this store. read more

I just moved here from California. I bought a 8ft ladder and they had me drive into their garage pick up area! I was amused cause in CA we just pull to the curb wait forever for someone to bring out our purchase and loaded it up. I drove into their garage they helped me loaded up my purchase and I drive on home! I watched other customers going through the line with no problem! Amazing read more

Folks, lowes has a "new" system for returns. Based on recent experience I recommend you keep your receipt for everything, take it home and photocopy it (thermal paper will degrade over time, with heat and with moisture). Then get a 3 ring binder and organize it. If your return is within 90 days with a receipt - you have a good shot at getting store credit. Without a receipt - forget it! Customer Service more like customer disservice. I only wanted to exchange a garden hose I bought in May 2023 but thats too complicated for you. Was it worth it Lowes? Was it worth losing a customer forever? Have their app or on their website? You should call and verify they have your item in stock - there's a good chance they don't. A 10 minute phone call will save you $$$ in fuel! Not a big fan of Home Depot but here I come. read more

Going on vacation in 4 days and. washer goes out. Went into Lowe's to buy a new set and we are told nothing is in stock except the highest priced set and that we can't get it delivered until Sunday. When we asked the sales associate if we could pick up the set she said yes but not until Wednesday. How is it available to be delivered Sunday but unavailable to pick up until Wednesday, we asked. the sales associate then rolled her eyes and said its just the way it is. we decided to order a set online. However, the washer is being delivered here tomorrow (Sunday) and the dryer has to be picked up on Wednesday and the connection we need for the dryer is out of stock. Found connectors on Amazon cheaper anyway... To say this process has been frustrating does not come close. The associate in the store was rude and dismissive and the shipping process is unorganized and poorly handled. We will never shop at Lowe's again. read more

Do NOT buy appliances from Lowes! We were recently denied our Rebate from LG appliances. We followed the application process that routed this application through Lowes. The only feedback we received was that the appliances we purchased do not qualify for the rebate. Here are the facts: My wife and I went together and purchased five LG appliances at Lowes store 2742 (south pueblo) on 8-29-23, Transaction number 321893771 costing approximately 2000.00 dollars. We prioritized the purchase of LG appliances based on the rebate from LG through Lowe's. We were guided in making this purchase by a Lowes Associate) and purchased appliances that would count for the rebate. We were given the rebate form and guided in how to submit. We submitted for the rebate and just a few days ago received a notice that our rebate was rejected because we didn't have a sufficient number of qualifying items. On Sept 28 I went to the Lowes store for an explanation. I was told by the associate's supervisor that he must have made a mistake, and she was sorry and there is nothing she could do. Sorry? We have contacted Lowes customer CARE and there response was that the appliances didn't qualify. They said nothing about the guidance we received in the original purchase. Be aware as well that appliances cannot be returned after 48 hours. When we found that the rebate did not qualify we wanted to return the items. No can do! read more

I had a front screen door installed. It was custom. The installer did the work, and the door was installed improperly. It sticks out 3/4" further than it should. I asked the installer about it. He said that's the way it's supposed to be. I had a custom building, a friend, come and look at it. He said the installer likely measured it wrong, and put it in the best way he could. I went back to Lowe's with pictures. The sales person was nice. He sent a manager. The manager used the exact words the installer did. I asked to speak with the company who sells the doors. I wanted to ask them if that's how they instructed their installers. I got ghosted. Terrible install. The end result, terrible customer service. read more

For the most part my shopping experience was fine. It is when I checkout at the register that led to the lumber yard. I bought paver and did not get a price, so she got rude and insisted if anything doesn't have a barcode, I need to get one. Looks like I am going against the grain with my five-star rating. In reality, it applies to two employees of the Lowe's on route 50. First, is the manager Gerry, who went above and beyond in finding the appropriate wood products that I needed for a major project. My thanks to Gerry. Second, is the delivery driver Shannon, who painstakingly placed the lumber and other wood products in a tight situation to make it much, much easier for me to access. I love Lowe's overall, after I remodeled my house last year and I had made many trips and tons of money spent at Lowe's. When my best friend needed an item, I suggested Lowe's, so off we went. During my most recent visit to Colorado, I was talking with my bestie about his apartment. He and his wife had been gone for a few days on a trip. His apartment was built in the early 1970's, so god only knows how many tenants have lived there before him. I'm presuming that the previous tenants before them had lived there a fair number of years and chain smoked in the apartment constantly and never opened a window. Because even with a solid cleaning job and constant cleaning, that nasty tobacco smell and stain creeps through the paint to basically drip down the walls, and it was painfully obvious after they returned home from their weekend vacation. So he asked me my thoughts on how to get rid of this issue. I told him Killz primer, a good two coats, and then two coats of paint. We stopped in to Lowe's to price check primer, because he will have to have a discussion with the landlord about it. He's happy to do the work, but they have to give him the green light and decide who is paying for it. It's worth checking on to give the landlord the important information. I'm all for being armed with the proper info, so let's go! We go to the paint department and are greeted by the woman working, I didn't catch her name. I was busy being unimpressed by her. She asked if he needed anything, and he said Killz primer. He then tried to explain why he needed this. He said his apartment smells like a stale bar and it was coming through the paint. Now, stale bar... that screams SMOKE to me. Apparently she thought mold, but whatever. Either mold or sucker who will buy anything would be my thoughts. My cats have better listening skills than she did. She takes us to the primer, and specifically tried to upsell him on a much more expensive brand that was designed for mold, and just kept babbling on about the mold. How you don't need to clean it, just paint over it, bla bla bla. I zoned out because she was clearly an idiot who didn't listen. She wasn't even worth my time to try and correct about the issue. The things I noticed about the conversation were that she didn't listen to the customer's needs, instead tried to upsell us on something that wasn't needed but was significantly more expensive. We said primer, she automatically goes to the most expensive one they have. She had no idea about how the primer worked. You don't just paint over mold. It's thick and gunky. It's not a flat surface that you can paint on. You have to get rid of that crap, and then the primer keeps it from coming back. I'm just horrified by the bullshit flying out of her mouth. I actually called a buddy of mine who is a contractor and been doing construction work all of his life, and he's over 60 now to see if my thoughts were correct, or her instructions. He couldn't believe someone actually said just paint over mold. Yeah, me neither. You clean the surface before you apply anything to it. Simple as that. She picked the primer that was $15 more per gallon than what we were looking for. Apparently we looked like idiots. No, I've done enough projects and given my buddy has been in construction forever, I have a pretty good idea of what I need. So I get a little annoyed when someone treats me like an idiot and doesn't listen. Would I return? Hell no! I'm sure there are plenty of other home improvement stores in Pueblo. I highly recommend going to a different one where the employees actually listen to what you need and aren't too busy trying to upsell you on the most expensive thing in the store. Like a lot of Lowe's customers, I have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars at their stores. However, after my recent experience with the pathetic Extended Protection Plan for major appliances that they offer to consumers, I will be spending my money at their national competitor just across the highway for everything I used to buy at Lowe's. This plan that is offered and sold under the guise that Lowe's actually cares about their customers is actually just a smokescreen for greed. They sell an EXTENDED Protection Plan that begins the day the appliance is purchased - NOT when the manufacturer warranty expires. I paid for and special ordered over $10k in kitchen appliances on October 1, 2015, and purchased 3-year plans for each item (5 in all.) They all expired on October 1, 2018 - so really I only got 2 years of additional "protection." To even shorten Lowe's obligation to the consumer: if you order your appliance on October 1st, and it isn't delivered until November 10th, your plan still starts on October 1st. Lowe's clearly misrepresents what their time obligation is to the consumer, but are happy to take your money and apologize later for a "misunderstanding" that they make no effort to rectify. I take responsibility for not catching this though, as I trusted the sales associate who sold these misleading plans to me, instead of reading very fine print before buying it. On September 23rd of this year, I had the misfortune of having to fall back on one of the warranties after a tech support call to LG determined that the compressor had failed on my less than 3-year-old refrigerator. No compressor, no refrigeration. I called Lowe's and explained that LG was able to determine the problem based on the diagnostics they were able to run during our phone call. I was told that LG's diagnosis was irrelevant - they would have to send a technician from their contracted repair company that services the area where I live, which is A&E Factory Service. I will write a separate review on these clowns later. The first available date for a technician to check out my fridge was October 2nd - nine days away. I had no choice but to schedule, but expressed my dissatisfaction in the 9-day wait for an initial visit. I was told that I could call an appliance repair service that Lowe's don't contract with, and that they would reimburse me for repairs. I kept my appointment that I had made through Lowe's, but did have another company come out to look at my fridge - they came the very next day. The technician confirmed the LG diagnosis and told me that while he was qualified to do the repairs he just didn't feel right doing so because the repairs are very pricey and the unit should really be replaced. I called Lowe's and relayed this information to them. They said that they would only replace the unit upon recommendation from one of their contracted repair companies. And, they weren't going to reimburse me for the service call from this non-contracted company since they didn't actually repair anything. So I waited for the October 2nd appointment which they ended up postponing to Oct. 8th. The refrigerator was only partially repaired on Oct. 15th, and I've been going back and forth with Lowe's and the service company just to get a technician back out to my house to finish the job. The end result - as of November 3rd, the technician was yet another no-show for the most recent appointment scheduled on November 2nd, and I still don't have a fully functioning refrigerator because of poor service by the warranty company, and Lowe's apathy toward the situation and unwillingness to step up and do what's right, despite that I have kept them updated about everything that has occurred. And I'm paying out-of-pocket for the technician who originally said that the unit should be replaced, to come out and finish the job that the A&E guy started. read more

This was the worst experience ever. They cancelled delivery for our appliances 3 different times, stating the appliances were not in yet. To make matters worse, they cancelled on the day they were supposed to be delivering, every single time. This is hands down the worst managed store ever. I was a huge fan of Lowe's based on great experiences at the Lowe's in Littleton. Did several large projects and the Duane and Joe at the pro desk were always awesome and when issues came up they got them handled. Fast forward to my moving to Pueblo earlier this year. EVERY time something requires someone to actually assist is a Disaster. *. Ordered a Freezer and was told it would be 4 to 7 days. It was in stock at the distribution center. 3 weeks later (no phone calls from Lowe's, numerous trips to the store, being told 2 times it had shipped, cancelled the order because it was finally determined it was no longer in stock. * Building a Garage and took plans to prodesk to have them put together a lumber order. This was on a Wed and was told it would be done Fri. Following Monday I stopped in and was told they were really busy and I would have it in a few days. Never happened. Took plans to Home Depot , 2 hours done! *Returning items to this store is ALWAYS a 30 minute affair. Today I stood in line 20 minutes without a single person completing a return. I left, drove to CO Springs because I was going to Costco and was in and out in 5 minutes. Had enough. This store will never get my business again. read more

What has happened to Lowe's? I've shopped there many times over the years and never seen this kind of issues before. My wife ordered a gas stove online in mid April with a 8 week wait for the delivery on June 10th. On June 10th at 6:45 AM we received a phone call from Lowe's ( Pueblo warehouse delivery) informing us that the stove was not there and they didn't know when it would be in. As we had delayed a trip to wait for the stove, we cancelled the order and would reorder later. On July 3rd, we reordered the gas stove again with a delivery date of Sept. 9th. On Sept. 6th, we received a phone call from Lora in Lowe's internet sales who related that our gas stove had not arrived and they didn't know where is was but she would contact the vendor and get back with us with some answers on Sept 8th. On Sept. 7th, we received a phone call from Lowe's delivery in Pueblo who also related that our stove was not in and they were going to call the vendor and find out where the stove was with a call back from them on Sept. 8th. As you might expect, there was no call back from either party Sept. 8th, so on Sept. 9th my wife cancelled. I don't know what has happened to Lowe's customer service or dependability, but there is other stores to spend my money at. read more

Ignored by employees, when we asked for some help we were just told to wait by others and have them help. After waiting for the others to finish they just walked away from us. Pueblo Colorado Highway 50 LOWES charged $1090 (over $130 per person-hour) for the 2-person, 4 hour job of replacing two existing evaporative (swamp) coolers on my one-story flat roof home in Pueblo West, Colorado. LOWES evaporative cooler installation cooler template ($545 per cooler -- no exceptions) includes building a cooler support frame on the roof, and installing a thermostat. Neither of these labor intensive jobs was needed or performed. However, I was charged the full $545 per cooler for a significant amount of unnecessary and un-performed work just because the job were listed in the installation template. I explained this when purchasing the coolers but the sales person said I had to purchase the installation package because the warranty was unavailable without LOWES performing the work. After the replacement, I explained the reason for the excessive charges to the Highway 50 store manager, the LOWES Colorado district manager, and LOWES Customer Service, and requested a partial credit or refund. They all said they would do NOTHING even though significant work was not performed because I had signed the installation contract. It appears that their $130 per person-hour charge trumps both common sense and ethical considerations. read more

After working with 3 different people in plumbing to get a quote and have our sliding shower area measured twice, we decided a month long journey is too long. Communication within Lowes at this location was not great. Amber was wonderful initially, then she appears to have an attitude about who was suppose to be contacting whom and when. Started with David, then went to Cliff because David was on vacation, then was handed to Amber, the manager of the installation area. Amber stated she, not someone else, but she would be calling me on a Monday when she got in to let me know next steps. I had my husband call Wednesday after getting tired of waiting for her to call. Thats was another area where communication was messed up. Needless to say, the experience was great in the beginning and then gradually went down hill. We decided to go to another company who doesn't charge for an estimate and less expense if anything has to b replaced. This Lowes is a place to go to for things you dont' require installation, measuring, or continued communication from internal and with customer. They are good with things off the shelf, or basic questions. We love love Tom and Cliff at this location. We will not be looking to Lowes for big projects. read more

Had to order a Kraft Maid medicine cabinet for a bathroom remodel (surprised you can't get one in the store--there's a wall display slot for the 48-inch model). Our custom vanity only took 3 weeks to arrive and we had to wait longer for a stock medicine cabinet?? Lowe's contacted Kraft Maid but no help there in getting a replacement rushed. Having to wait another month to finish the bathroom. Very unhappy! To top it off, Lowe's rejected my two attempts at rating them through their email survey--guess they don't want any bad reviews!
