Building new home 5 hrs North (Postdamn)of our home. We are doing all the work ourselves. We have a 5 hour drive @ way to work on our house. First big delivery from Lowes was delivered to our other house, even after driver called my husband and he told him , NO-wrong address. Today we GOT UP 4 A.M. AND drove 5 hrs to get a delivery, only to be told when we arrived and called them-we told oh our truck is broken , no one called you? Sorry... Teo very big disappointing large, cost mistakes and hours of time we can't get back. Also issues with billing - more then frustrated. read more

The staff who helped me pick out flooring was great and I started out delighted, however after a large purchase of flooring (3 rooms and a hallway) with installation included was installed. I was notified there was no 1/4 round in the order. I noted my receipt and printout that clearly stated 1/4 round, however was told the computer made an error and it was never charged. I was then asked to pay more and wait more than another week for it to come in! I do not understand it is 1/4 round and they said it is "special order" so I said no forget it I will go to another store and get plain white. Soon after a man called and said they would install the plain white and his words "we will eat it..." however I still have to wait for the delivery and installation. I feel it is their error and this is how they talk to customers? To top it off I am told by a carpenter, It is common 1/4 round and in stock anywhere and NOT expensive! I am still waiting for installation to be complete. My floors look terrible with out it and the installation people just left it and said we will come back when Lowes has the product they will have to let you know. Recently had carpets installed for 4 bedrooms. Disastrous! 2 no shows for install dates to start. Came home day 1 to find tools all over my furniture, bedding and doors up against walls with no protection resulting in destroyed walls and furniture. Filthy hand prints all over. Carpet was cut wrong for one of the rooms so they did not have enough carpet to complete the job. Put a seam right in the entry doorway of one of the rooms that did not require a seam at all with the size of the carpet roll. We were told they had to order more carpet - 2 more weeks to wait for job completion. In the interim, we requested an inspection due to feeling bumps under the laid rooms. The inspector found that the installers never replaced the padding in the first 3 rooms. As we just moved in, this padding was soaked with pet stains. They laid the new carpet on top of the old pet stained padding! FRAUD! Had to tear the rooms apart again, more wear and tear on our furniture and walls. More inconvenience and more delays, lost work days on our end. We are currently in the process of having the entire upstairs repainted to deal with the end results and some of our furniture is not fixable. Multiple attempts to deal with the local office, corporate office and the subcontractor they used has resulted in no resolution after numerous, numerous attempts.
