I cannot talk to a human being. I have a simple question about the history of my account, but no one on the phone (I waited 72 minutes for a human to answer, never did) , or on-line. In store they mechanically say they cannot get into my 20-year account. This is ridiculous. It is a horrible way to treat a long-term customer. Lowes has a great racket going. I ordered an item online for store pickup tge next day because they had a low number in stock. I received email order and text confirmation that all was good and items were at the store. When I arrived to pick them up, the store delivered them to my home and charged me an additional delivery fee that I specifically did not authorize. Then they would not refund be the store or corporate customer service with cust srvc saying this happens alot with online orders for store pickup. Nice scam they have with their delivery drivers. Ordered a Microwave to be installed. Delivery got here and the Microwave was damaged in the box. Service tech took it back and called to say all of them in stock were damaged. We have now been waiting over a week for the new order. Call today to check on it and was left on hold for almost an hour. I can honestly say that I've just had a buying experience with Lowes and it was the worst shopping experience of my entire life. Here's why. On a Saturday I bought a cordless lawnmower, and on Sunday I found that the battery was faulty. I called Lowes who said bring in the battery and charger and we'll give you a replacement. On Monday I went with the battery and charger and after 30 minutes someone came to serve me. He informed me that they don't have that particular battery in stock but brought down an alternative which he assured me would work. Ridiculous - it was the wrong size, the wrong wattage and would not fit the mower I bought. After sometime he agreed and said I have to order the correct battery. After another 15 minutes he told me that this particular battery was no longer offered by Lowes and that I should call the manufacturer. I asked to speak to a supervisor who eventually came and told the salesman to take a battery from a similar machine in stock only that they don't have another one of these machines in store nor in any nearby store. Sorry Sir, there's nothing more we can do. You have to bring the mower back to our store and we'll provide you with an alternative one. I explained that in my mid eighties and with only one useable arm I would not be capable of lifting the mower into my vehicle, could they please collect it from my house. No, was the reply our system only allows deliveries. I asked to speak to an manager but was informed that all the managers are at an in-store meeting and cannot be disturbed. I was told to go home and someone would call me. After 3 hours I realized that all they want was to get me out of the store. Attitudes and customer service was the lowest I've ever experienced. It appears that Lowes customer delivery is bound up in a ridgid operating system and not upon a customer satisfaction base. I hope that Lowes management are aware that this is not a sustainable situation but one which will inevitably lead to store closures due to decreased footfall based upon appalling customer service.. read more

I've had the best experiences with the Lowe's Ocala location. I ordered most of my bathroom renovation from Lowe's. The Vigo shower system and Casa Inc tub faucet had defective parts and Lowe's took them back even though it was 6 months after purchasing. The Marth Stewart stone mosaic had several pieces leftover which Lowe's Refunded my money on. I am now a Loyal Lowe's customer. read more

This Lowes is nice. They keep it very clean. It is never too crowded. The parking lot is large and easy to navigate. The garden center has a good selection. The staff have been uniformly nice and help you load things and smile while they do it. They keep a good amount of stock, they have never been out of what I needed, even cabinets. I don't understand the other reviews complaining about the staff, each and every one I have met was very nice and accommodating. read more

I want to start off this review by saying that it is important that you keep in mind the separation of Lowe's and contractors they engage for work you ask them to do. Lowe's as the hardware store is fantastic! Store is clean and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I can't speak for the contractors, but other reviews don't paint a great picture. What I will say is that if you are looking for a home improvement store, you will find what you need here. You do need to do your own research on any contractors they might send your way! read more

I bought a few items and went out to my car thinking that I had everything in my cart only to find out that some items that I had already paid for were missing. So, I went back inside the store and tried to tell the cashier that 2 items were missing. Without even acknowledging that there was a problem she reached into some remote area behind some boxes and pulled out my bag of items. Didn't say a word. Why would these items be tucked away behind some boxes that were not near the cash register area? I wish she could have said something like sorry for the mistake. It felt a little weird. read more

Reviewed this store 3 years ago and things have not improved much. Aisles you can hardly get thru because of the crap piled up in them. Store is dirty and unkept. Inventory is always an issue. Half the time I go there I walk out empty handed and discussed. Drive down to the other store by 75 and store is always neat and well stocked. Worst Lowes ever. Been to this store many times. Yesterday capped it off... Nursery dept. Understaffed. Cashier overwhelmed. only one person, line was so long it was a joke... Some landscaper had 12 trolleys. this is at 11am, when he should have been there at 7am or earlier. so everyday folks are yelling on line... cashier is having a meltdown. The Manager needs to be fired! We left the line and went to pay inside.. worse. the express checkout jammed with 1 person helping.. This store is beyond bad.. We are done. The worst customer service experience I've ever experienced. Customer service was very quick to blame me for not getting my military discount then said she couldn't do anything without the receipt. I went back to the store to take a photo of the price. The Asst Store Mgr met me and explained not everything gets a discount, then started the same list I got from customer service. So I argued that not everything gets a discount, but some items get a double discount (to make the point of how does he know this didn't receive a discount. He argued that if it was on sale there wouldn't be a discount. He was more interested in arguing the point to me that "it's in the system, if I was eligible for a discount" the system " would have given me one. I pushed past him to look at the price label, it was indeed on sale though it didn't say "sale or discounted price" it read "deal" of course I could accept that it was a reduced price and may not be eligible, but he was very quick to point at the price and say "SEE! I it says DEAL! WAS 159 now 129!" . My question why couldn't they tell me on the phone that the item was ACTIALLY on sale from 159 to 129. Why did I have to get the argument that I didn't give my phone number to get the military discount, or it might have been a disqualifying item like fire wood, lighters, and she listed a dozen other things without asking what I bought them lol it up. Why did I have to go back to the store and face an offensive asst store mgr more interested in proving me wrong than trying to figure out why I might have been confused. Good luck guys! Lowe's should stop selling Samsung Stoves and ovens as they are crap! I purchase in 6/21 a 900.00 self cleaning range, had to buy new plug because mandatory and an additional 3 year warranty after Lowe's (who used to do their own) Now Assurant comes into the picture and must call them. You call and mailbox is full or you wait a day or two for call back. My oven temp was 50 degrees off and was told that was normal but sent someone out. After smoking 3 cigs and tossing on my lawn he came in and checked it out. Told me it needed a part and that you should *never use the self clean because houses catch fire!???? Why would they sell them. Anyway, after scratching my laminate floor he orders one part. Comes back over a week later and installs, less than a week later down again. I requested different tech, this guy said both parts should have been replaced, not just one as they talk to each other. Again another wait! Finally fixed and goes down again so strike #3! Went to store and spoke to manager, he said had to break down one more time to equal 4 (used to be 3 for lemon law) then he would call Warranty and see if they would replace. Different warranty place three different times! In the meantime no cooking. I believe I may have missed one above but doesn't matter, stove worked for two days and then down again. Yesterday #4 happens and guess what? Warranty ended exactly one month ago where they tried to talk me into purchasing extended for almost 500 bucks. NOT LIKELY. SAMSUN NEEDS TO STICK TO MAKING TELEVISIONS! THEY ARE THE BEST! Now I will take the chance of going back to Lowe's today to see if they will replace. If not will obviously go elsewhere and buy a different brand but the inconvenience of almost 4 years of a downed stove is more than ridiculous. Same issue every single time except this one just says error and stove will not even come on. Wish me luck but don't expect help. If I do I will retract this review. Went to Lowe's manager does not speak to people until you go through the assistant manager. She said "You need to call Samsung and ask for an RA# and then when you get that, bring it back and we will switch it out for whatever I wanted!" Called Samsung, they said "NO customers do not call for an RA# the store manager needs to do it. " In the meantime called Samsung again and they agreed to send someone as a courtesy for the call and the part but we needed to pay the labor. We agreed. Next a text from tech stating we needed to pay up front $140.00 for the call or they would not come out. I then called Samsung again, different agent said the stove was made in 2018 making it older than Samsung warranties and the plate with SN clearly states 2021! Called Lowe's back and asked to speak to the manager. She said he will call me back! I do not count on that call and the second Samsung agent was incorrect. read more

They sold me on a job I really didn't need, used a FRADULENT permit to do the job. Refused to take equipment back and refund my money after I lost a sale on my home. They ignored arbitration even though their contract recommends it. Lowe's ignored the BBB when I filed a complaint with them. It took Lowe's 9 months to correct the permit. When their 10 month old equipment broke down, it took them 4 months to repair it. Is this a company you want to do business with? We bought a Coleman(Kandi) golf cat less than a year ago at Lowes with a 2 yr warranty from Coleman Powersports. One of the gel batteries is failing. I filed a claim a month ago and finally heard back from them. Their solution was for me to bring the golf cart 1 1/2 hrs away to be diagnosed. I have no way of doing that. In what world is it ok for the cashier to enter the incorrect price; you call attention to the wrong price; cashier hits the wrong button on the cash register in an attempt to correct the wrong price (too much of course!), making you pay more than you're supposed to, and then go to customer service wait in line again to get the proper credit! That's a f***ed up system! Two cashiers refused to void out sale because it was "too late". Refused to take my purchase at the next register. Lowe's lost that sale. However a young man by the name Zemroy in the Home Decor Dept. was ready willing and able for all the customers to find what you are looking for and give helpful suggestions. This is a good place to buy what you need, but I would NEVER ask them to install anything ever again. I bought a toilet and initially the installation went fine, but then there was a leak and trying to get it fixed has been hell. They use a 3rd party called "Handy" to arrange the installs and they are impossible to work with. Several long phone calls have been a complete waste of time dealing with people who barely speak English. I've spoken to the plumber that did the original install and he says all the problems are with Handy who he can't reach. I called Lowe's and they refused to let me speak to the store manager. Really? They wouldn't cut 16' boards into 8' for me to fit in my vehicle. Told me they don't do that - even though I've had it done before. There delivery service is bad, bad, bad. First no call to let me know they were on the way. Second Left instructions to push button to open gate but these brain trusts drove up to gate and sat there for 3 minutes and then just left. After left I called Lowes customer service who were very sorry, as they always are, and assured me that the washing machine would be delivered first thing the next morning. The next morning I get a call from the delivery service who says they will be here between 2 and 5pm. Do yourself a favor don't shop at Lowes. I have a lowes purchased dishwasher that needs service. Lowes set me up with Best Services of America and gave me a date and time to expect the repair person. Best Services of America called and said they needed a $50 deposit and would not be able to come until three weeks after Lowe's promised date. I cancelled the appointment. Lowes tried to be helpful but they need to find somebody besides Best Services (what a misnomer) to service their appliances. read more
