UPDATE 01-19-2024 STILL BE BOTHERED ABOUT INSTALLS. We ask for a refund on Installations. Over a week ago, it falls on deaf ears. We have vinyl flooring rolled up in out small living for at least 16 days. We add to move furniture back and forth from kitchen to living room. My wife and I are seniors, I been told I have Parkinsons. I've been totally disable since 2016. My wife has been disabled since 1999. First Install date was Like 1-03-24, canceled because of Covid, Ok I understand that. Given a date on 10th, they don't show up or call. They were scheduled to come on the 10, and the 11th. We had to cancel the 11th because our living room was in the kitchen. Where most of it is at today still. We live in a 1,054 sq foot home. There is no room. I would attach photos if I could. Its a mess! They give us a date of the 19th and the 24th. We had enough! The 19th I think was the vinyl. I told someone on your 800 number, we would take the vinyl and the carpeting. But ANY Installers from Lowes.through Lowes is not going to happen. We don't if its FREE. No way! We have a 22,000 dollar rebath order through Lowes. If this keeps up we WILL Cancel that too. About 8-10 years at Lowes we had a front door we wanted installed in Barlow. They screwed that up too. Kept our money for months. Said the home could not support the door. Why didn't they check it before keeping our money? Its our fault for trusting Lowes once again Here's another, we order a stackable washer & dryer. I ordered 2 different cords 3 prong & a 4 prong. Because I could not move out the old washer to see. Anyway they bring out 1 cord, the wrong one of course. We have to wait 5 days for them to return to hook it up. just to bring out the correct cord. They leave, no washers in the hoses. Leaks like crazy, no dryer vent hose put on, found the cramp to secure the power cord to the machine in the box. Waited 5 days, and I ended up doing it myself. Minus the clamp, Would I recommend Lowes for anything. I would have to say HELL NO, not in a million years. I will drive to Home Depot for anything else I need from here on out. And its 55 miles one way! I will never,ever return to any Lowes in any town. I Promise! I hope I answered your question. You have a nice night, I will. Just for getting this out. They have to match the prices from there own web site then you can not get 5% on your Lowe's card. What a joke I can Order online and pick up at store and get my 5% or drive to another Lowe's 30 minute away. Will not shop here anymore I will just order from amazon. read more

It doesn't matter how far you travel, east or west...you can still expect the same mediocre and occassionaly decent service. We had questions and like normal, further west, there wasn't a single Lowe's employee in sight. read more

It's Lowe's not many experts here if you are a contractor like myself you know what you need, you know where it is and don't need a lot of help in the store. IF you go to Lowe's for home improvement advice you might be disappointed, some employees know things others don't. The selection in this store is a little thin compared to others but that's Lowe's smaller towns get smaller Lowe's. The military discount is nice and rarely have they not been able to get something I need even if they don't carry it in store. read more

People who are looking to do any type of home improvement on your house or yard I have some advise for you, DO NOT use Lowes. Middle of December we had gotten in touch with a contractor at Lowes in Mayfield Kentucky regarding fencing in our backyard. A contractor had come out to our property and went over the process. Set a installation date for the beginning of January. The contractor ensured everything would be taken care of. There was nothing we needed to do prior to installation. we had discussed us having a well. They told us the utility company would come out to our house and mark where installers should avoid. Tuesday installers showed up at 7am to start digging. They had told me they had installed multiple fences in this area. Commented about us having a well. They start digging and hit a water line coming to our house. Immediately I was told it was our responsibility to fix it because they did not know the water line was there. They have cancelled our fence project and have refused to repair the damage they have caused. We had asked multiple times if there was anything we needed to do prior to the installation and we were told no. If you are looking to get anything done on your home or yard do not go through Lowe's. If they damage something they WILL NOT repair the damage. read more

This store does not even deserve 1 star, but I couldn't write a review without it. Purchasing and having flooring installed at this location has been the biggest headache. From the store ordering the incorrect materials not once, but twice and failing to order other necessary materials I can honestly say I will never spend another penny at this store. No one there can give consistent or correct information and instead pass the buck off on other people. It's pretty sad when management is the least professional/friendly people in the store.
