BEWARE...my dryer has been broken since 4/12/24, and I'm still waiting on repair as of 5/21/24 per Lowes Protection Plan. The last repair on my dryer took 6 weeks. They keep making appointments but never show up and keep pushing me back. I have talked to management several times at Lowes in Houma, and they DO NOT care or help. Their attitude is that once they sell you the appliance and their warranty plan, it's your problem. I do not think my dryer will ever get fixed!!! Do yourself a favor and buy local like Rod's. You will get better service. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.!!! read more

I stopped by Lowe's last night 11/29/23 with a friend and at some point he needed some spray foam and asked if I could grab it for him. Well I couldn't find it but I was in luck. The associate that was helping him I plumbing was walking by. I stopped her and asked for help finding it. Not only did she find it. She had good knowledge of what was going on through the store with everything. Was I was set she even tried to help me locate my buddy. I'm positive she would have if another customer didn't stop and ask her about staple guns, and she was taking him to exactly where he needed to be. When I seen her again to get her name for this. She was explaining what types of anchors the guy was going to need for his project. I can easily say that I haven't seen or had an associate in a Lowe's, home Depot or any other supply house that together in years. So hats off to the person that hired Emily in the plumbing section of Lowe's in Houma Louisiana. Thanks Emily. The great ones make it look easy. read more

My husband and I went to Lowes to buy a washer and dryer last night .The young man who helped us was very polite and professional.

I have been a Lowes customer for several years although I trade at other retailers and online providers as well. I appreciate Lowes position on military vets and think it might well be one of the reasons I continue to shop there. Recently I have had issues with 2 of the products they sell (no fault of Lowes) and have to say that the support from Lowes staff at Houma store was better than outstanding. Both times on separate issues and products they went above and beyond to help me resolve the issue with manufacturer. One item was in warranty the other out of warranty. I did not have extended warranty in either case. They made calls for me to manufacturers and assisted in resolving my issues. I commend the store manager and staff for their customer service performance and will continue to shop at Lowes in Houma. I will always consider them first option because of the way they handle my business. read more

Me and my family were at the Lowe's on joins the day Frank Kampf grabbed a piece of paper from a customer and yanked it hard from her. We couldnt get over what we saw. The guy crumpled the paper on both sides pulling it hard from her. Then he actually grabbed onto the top of the paper and yanked it down hard. It looked like he was trying to make her fall or something. This Frank guy is tall and fat and out of .line doing that to her. We won't shop there ever again because of what we saw. Other people saw it to and we were talking about it in the parking lot together. We saw her talking to the manager John Landry, so we hope he does something. Glad that wasn't my mother or sister. read more

I give y'all a O! Lowes is really rude !! Are should I say their employees... you call 5 times just to get the hardware department and you keep getting hung up on obviously little kids are getting paid to work there. How hard is it to get someone to tell you what kind of screen they sale and how much it is. I guess I'll have to call Home Depot!!! This is not the first time this is happened!! read more

It's Lowe's people and it's exactly what you would expect. However, I was quite surprised that it was as large as it was for this area. Plenty of stuff to choose from and lots of employees to help you out. The only reason it's not a 5 star is because the bath and kitchen selection is pretty slim. I would have expected to see more bathroom supplies and such. I'm h well, what you can't get here you can get across the street at Home Depot! read more
